This was the first Sonic game I played, ironically. I had never played the first Sonic until a decade ago. I always liked the melody especially the part that plays when Sonic reaches the waterfall (around 2:00 mark)

You know, I didn't particularly care for Emerald Hill's music, not because it's bad (it is good), but nothing makes it stand out that much. But this really makes it stand out. I love it.
