Either way, they’ve not turned up today… but it’s UPS delivering these and they’re always really unreliable with their predicted delivery dates! I’ve had delays every time with them!
I got mine, too, yesterday and gonna unbox it tomorrow I think. I was really afraid that Gollum’s hair would not look great but in your video it seems that it is absolutely possible to make it look good. I am excited and will test it tomorrow! Congratulations on getting this piece! Looks bloodying amazing! I wanted to wait for your video before getting this statue because I was a bit weary of the production version of the face sculpt, webbing, and rock base, but now I've decided to go ahead and pre-order, so thank you. This would be my first Prime 1 statue (well, P1 lord of the rings statue, because I pre-ordered Paul Atreides from Dune about half a year ago now. It will arrive Q1 of 2023). I've only recently started collecting the Weta 1:6 scales, so this Frodo piece is gonna stick out a bit haha. And I don't know where I'm gonna store the 2 boxes... they're massive. Can't wait for your review video on this piece. I do have a bit of feedback (I don't mean any offence at all), but this particular video looks soft in HD. I'm wondering if it's because it's filmed in lower light and maybe the camera sensor isn't picking up the detail as well. But just thought I'd let you know for your future videos. I'm sure you were in a rush to get the video out for us ASAP, so I'm greatly appreciative either way. Thank you again for giving us this video before Christmas! Much love from NZ. Ricky

Yes mate, mine didn’t work at all! I got a replacement from P1, which works fine… Just contact them via your account - there’s now a claim section at the bottom of your order on the website - they’ll then contact you and basically there’s a few things you’ll be required to do & all being well, they’ll send you a replacement?… Alternatively, they’ll offer you a small refund in P1 reward points!… (I think mine was around $25?? Which was ridiculously low, I thought?)… 👍🏻
