ein Beitrag des Freitag, 27. Dezember (= 3. Weihnachtstag) The 30th of November, is the annual Saint Andrews Day. Then starts the stretch of the shortest 43 days of the year, in astronomical defintion! Given the fact, that Scotland is relatively far away from the equator, the hugh lack of natural light, is very noticable there! Long story short King James 6th of Scots took over England in 1603AD under the House of Stuart, James wanted to unite both his Kingdoms but didn't work out, later his granddaughter Queen Anne in 1707AD under the House of Stuart joined both Kingdoms under the Act of Union🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
There's a lot of Words in Heraldry So Passant Rampant Quatrain Quartered ECT I did like the Fleur De Lis analogy with the Lion Rampant But The Saltire And the Lion were both on the Battle Field It's as simple as this the Lion represents the Crown the Saltire The People I believe it was Malcom I First used it as the Royal Standard But even Today The Usurper King Charles chooses to have it in his repertoire
Good video but the scripting could use some work. Sentence construction can be very clunky with many repetitive words. Also, if I'm watching a history channel I'm looking for information that appears researched/verified, rather than with so many "I think" statements. Very informative and hard work that is paying off. Keep it up.
