I have a 2018 Q. Love it. :) My most needed option that doesn't exist is a nose lift. That carbon fiber splitter hits everything. Also, in some garages it's generally a bit too low to clear the middle of the car over ramps

I am very much hankering after one of these and 'will' get one at some point. However after going to see one in the flesh (You very rarely see them on the roads) I was a little disappointed. The base models have a beautiful cohesive design that is interrupted with the QV model. The black elements of the carbon fibre front, rear, sides together with the black elements of the bonnet grill and black side vents break up that sleek design on the bright colours and give it a 'modified' look. In all my 40yrs of driving this is the first car that for me, the base version looks better than the top of the range version. That's Alfa for you.
I've never heard anyone say this. I have the QV and it looks 10x better than the base. To each their own.

@@fatgoose8983 Yes indeed. I did mention it to a dealer and he thought it was a fair point and agreed. Lower any base car and it will look 10x better. I wonder though if an example had colour coded vents and carbon people would appreciate it more.
I guess I have to teach you, that the Giulia QV is one of the rare cars in history, where the QV model is the base model and all the others were downgraded models 😄 That’s what makes this car so amazing. They developed a QV and not a Giulia.

@@ParkFreezer So what? The technology and drive train has nothing to do with styling and design. My comment was related to the looks. Unfortunately you've taught me nothing I didn't already know. For the record 'Base' is short for Basic meaning the lesser models and has no bearing on how it was conceived.
