A jazz celebration of an enduring relationship founded upon an ideology: SOCIALISM!
    1. We met in 1967 in Chicago, and after helping Julie Kailin and Linda (her friend) move into an apartment, she invited me to a house-warming party. As the party was going on, Julie saw me seated alone sipping "Old Style" brand beer--a Chicago favorite.
    2. When Julie approached me, I told her "sanctimoniously"--I am a "socialist" and I cannot "throw myself around" in a party!
    3. She went away, but soon came back with a piece of paper and a pen. She had written this: "If you are a socialist, I will marry you"! She told me if you concur sign at the bottom. I did and after two weeks, we started dating! That was our "socialist marriage contract"!
    4. Jazz Hangouts in Chicago
We both love jazz and in those fateful years of 1960s we frequented a few jazz joints in Chicago "Old Town" and Rush Street.
