Austin is a great storyteller! What a surreal moment that must have been ... meeting your idol Paul, who's telling you about the time he met *his* idol Elvis, who you just played in a movie? Wow ... great story!
That is the most handsome couch I’ve ever seen on TV! 😘😉. I was tearing up when Austin told his beautiful story of his interaction with Sir Paul McCartney on that Paris train ride, listening to the same song, that Elvis played on his jukebox at his place in front of The Beatles. It warms my heart that Priscilla and Lisa Marie are pleased with Austin’s performance of their beloved Elvis. My sister and I have got to take our mom to see this movie, because my parents were big Elvis fans. Before I end my long college dissertation of a comment of this video, I’ll share with all of you reading this comment this story. Back in 1973, Mom was 9 months pregnant with me. I know that Elvis performed at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel during the 1970’s (1972-1976). Mom wanted to see Elvis in concert in Vegas, but Daddy (RIP 😪🙏) didn’t go to Vegas to see Elvis’s show, because he’s afraid to be away from their obstetrician here in L.A., in case Mommy ended up delivering me in Vegas. So they stayed here in L.A., and I was born on October 7, 1973. Once or twice, my sister & I had “What if?”, conversations if our parents went to see Elvis’s show. Mommy ended giving birth to me at his show. Would Elvis serenade to me, after Mom gave birth to me(?). I do remember seeing Elvis’s tribute special hosted by his leading lady, Ann Margaret, after Elvis passed away in 1977.

didn’t have good expectations for it but it was so fucking good. They really showed Elvis in a way that showed just how cool he was back in the day. Elvis was to young people back then, how rappers are for young people today. People my age think Elvis is/was lame and this showed me otherwise. Great movie and I think even people who don’t have any interest in Elvis or his music will like this movie and maybe even like a song or 2 of his. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Easily 8.5/10
Really? It took this movie for you to realize that Elvis was as cool to his generation as rappers are to this one? It doesn’t take much imagination to put yourself in the position of those 1950s kids.
@@calisongbird no it didnt take that to make me realize. my grandma literally has half her house decorated and dedicated to elvis. but most kids my age don't know or care to know anything about Elvis. Butler was the reason to go see the movie. Otherwise, I thought it was an overbaked, ostentatious mess. It certainly could have served Presley better. I admit to not being a fan of Luhrman and his directing style.

Austin is just so amazing. He is an incredibly dedicated and talented actor, as well as a good warm hearted person. His adorable and humble personality is so easy to fall in love with.❤️
Saw Elvis earlier today with my family and I loved every minute of it. Austin absolutely nailed it, and I just know somewhere in Heaven The King is smiling down on him.
Damn he has a fantastic ear for accents. For a couple of seconds, there, he sounded just like Paul McCartney...like on the fly, just worked it into telling a story. Can't wait to see what he does in the future. Hoping he'll be the equivalent of a Meryl Streep for this generation. From his Nickelodeon/Carrie Diaries persona to Tex Watson to Elvis, he's already shown us quite a range.
One thing that distinguishes Austin Butler from other Gen Z celebrities is his diction. He doesn’t use useless filler words like “um” and “like” every other word, or pepper his speech with slang, uptalk, vocal fry, etc. He speaks properly, with confidence, and I would not be surprised if he has had specific diction and PR training in this area. It’s refreshing. That’s one reason he projects a classic, Old Hollywood movie star vibe. That and his actual voice, which is at a surprisingly low register. He also has a calm, authoritative demeanor which is reminiscent of the alpha male energy of those Old Hollywood movie stars. He’s not coked up and frenetic. He does not project the “please love me” insecurity/desperation I’ve seen in so many other young celebrities. He knows who he is. That’s a massively attractive and charismatic quality.

He’s mesmerizing…can’t take my eyes or ears off of him! It’s not just his voice, but his kindness and humility. He’s a great storyteller. This wasn’t just a role for him; he ensconced himself fully in the essence and persona of Elvis, and sitting through the movie is just an emotional experience. Now that I’ve seen it 3 times, I find myself switching back and forth just marveling between Austin and Elvis and it leaves me in shock. He’s incredible. ❤️
And what I like about him especially is that he always compliments the people he's with. He does seem a bit shy which I like. He doesn't seem in love with himself, and I hope he stays that way🥰🥰
This dude is such a good story teller. The way these guys leaned into Austin... I thought they were going to tip over lol
I love how he turns and includes them both. Charisma on Command needs to do a video on him.
Absolutely. I'm mesmerised when he talks
Loved it too. So sweet how Goldblum was hanging on every word.
I couldn't help but notice how they both were just leaned in & captivated by him tellin his story
It's because he talks so soft. They probably couldn't hear him. I had to turn up my volume to hear him. Lol
Man crush 😍😬
Austin Butler is a class act! So genuine. So humble. I could listen to him all day!
What a great interview and with that mesmerizing voice I could listen to him all day. Austin was absolutely unbelievable in Elvis I have seen it 14 times, I now have it on DVD and watch it every week. He is such a beautiful looking man, so charismatic with gorgeous lips and hands such a cutie.
Never heard Austin Butler speak before but what a sophisticated confident young man. I just saw Elvis he was brilliant in the role.
This man deserves to win the Oscar for best actor. I was completely at awe watching him play as Elvis. I can’t think of a better performance this year
Love how I along with them was leaning in to hear him. His voice is so soft.
In fairness, Jeff always does that, he listens so hard he's actually gravitationally pulled towards whomever he's listening to.
Austin is a great storyteller! What a surreal moment that must have been ... meeting your idol Paul, who's telling you about the time he met *his* idol Elvis, who you just played in a movie? Wow ... great story!
I would give ANYTHING to be on a train ride with Paul McCartney, I have been a fan of Paul's since 1964 when I was a teenager. WHAT a GREAT STORY!!
MJ is a million times better than elvis and mcartney
@@AC-mp7cx only fools and little boys adored this Freak jacko
Jacko was an animal and child abuser, thats his talent, hahahaha
I'm going to look up the song Elvis sang when the Beatles were there. Mohair Sam by Charlie Rich ...see ya!
Superalto... Great story!!! 😊😁🌟👏
so we went and watched the Elvis movie last night and gotta say i was captivated by the whole performance the movie was just incredible Austin was absolutely amazing i felt like i was there in the crowd about to scream when the king of rock came out on stage loved it and ill be watching again. thankyou austin for bringing Elvis back to life so amazing
Two incredibly classy interviews simultaneously. What a treasure both Goldbloom and Butler are ❤
What a fresh air came with Austin. He is not only talented, humble and wellspokem. He is also hypnotic. Good by Timotee Chalamet or Tom Holland.
didn’t have good expectations for it but it was so fucking good.
Was simply puting that out there becauase I finally thought someone my age might agree! Thanks for stopping by and assuming!
Austin Butler's performance has blown me away. The definitive Elvis performance.
Austin Butler is incredibly talented and he is very easy on the eyes, but it's this whole demeanor that makes him so incredibly intoxicating! I've watched so many videos and he always is so genuine and sweet and personable! He's worked hard for a long time and he deserves this success!
Austin is so so humble, and I love the way he speaks
I never though Austin would be so good in the movie but he was outstanding.
@Aþort Mən 😂😂
Was it good?! I’m gonna see it tomorrow
@@DJ-il4rs It was a roller coaster ride. Amazing. I want to see it again. Austin Butler channeled Elvis and Tom Hanks was superb as well.
Saw it yesterday! Brilliant brilliant movie!
Butler was the reason to go see the movie. Otherwise, I thought it was an overbaked, ostentatious mess. It certainly could have served Presley better. I admit to not being a fan of Luhrman and his directing style.
That story Austin told, OH MY GOD, i cannot imagine how special that must have felt like 🥹🥹🤍🫶🏻 being a huge Beatles/Paul McCartney and Elvis fan, that would’ve been peak in life 💯
Anything that will make me watch a James Corden clip must be good
Austin is just so amazing.
I haven't heard from Austin Butler since the Carrie Diaries. I'm glad he got this role! He's really good!
He was in Once upon a time in Hollywood
@@brtzzzzz girl no one watched that
@@fadleadam well I sure did, even paid tickets 2x. Tarantino is always a double hell yeah
@@brtzzzzz well thats embarrassing you sat through that terrible movie but u do u i guess
@@fadleadam how cute of you, trying to have a say in somebody else’s life and how they should spend their own money 😘
His acting was one of the best i’ve seen in my life, bring this guy an Oscar!
There’s something so special in his eyes…..absolutely beautiful🥰
Austin must be on cloud 9 sitting next to Jeff. Jeff himself is a incredible actor and person.
You can feel how genuine Austin is 🤍 love him
Austin Butler has such a low tone with this soft rumbly voice. You just can't help leaning in to listen to him tell his story. Hypnotic.
He needs to do one of those tapes that soothes you to sleep.
His voice is so cool! I don’t remember him sounding like this years ago, so I guess he just gets better with age
He’s from Anaheim!!!
@@tymeadors855 it’s from working on Elvis’ voice for so long consistently
This guy is the man right now. It's amazing how his life is changed for ever.
Seen the Elvis movie last night. What a roller-coaster of a movie! Stunning, absolutely amazing music, beautiful cinematography, mad fast beginning, but the 50s sets and costumes and fashion are just fantastic, felt like i jumped into a time machine.
Austin butler embodied Elvis, defiantly an Oscar winner. Should have been so much more of the amazing Elvis music.
his voice is actually calming
One day, years from now, a young actor is going to tell the story of how he met Austin Butler.
I have fallen in love with everything about Austin and Jeff has been my crush since the 70’s. Loving this😊
I admire this man so. much. he's so down to earth and humble, I LOVE HIM
Austin’s voice is so alluring. I was so drawn in that I had to watch again 😍🥰😍
Holy shit, Austin Butler. I felt like I was /there/ with you. And it helped that no one interrupted him. But Austin gave me literal goosebumps with that story.
Just watched Austin Butler in Elvis Presley it's like the spirit of Elvis is still present in his voice damn 😮
I've watched Austin's interview whether in talkshow or red carpet. One thing I notice that he always looks stylish. Whoever dress him does a good job.
Never have I had to stifle sobs during a movie before. I've aways been a massive Elvis fan so was sceptical going in to see it but, Austin became Elvis. The whole team involved in this movie were great. Definitely want to see it again.
Saw the movie yesterday..OMG ... my Mom raised me on Elvis... he died when I was 10... but I still watch every movie, youtube video... I just love Elvis.. when i saw this movie yesterday... Austin Butler had all of the moves down the facial expressions.. I was blown away..loved it
wow. I could listen to him talk for hours, he really pulls you in with his storytelling. amazing.
Whenever I watch Austin being interviewed, I just get so caught in his words, his gestures, his personality that nothing else matters. He just fills the screen, the camera... ❤️
Paul's daughter knows that Austin is humbled person to hang out with her dad! Dave Grohl stated same thing when Paul showing his daughter on playing the keys on the piano. I have seen Austin as Tex Watson in Tarantino's movie few years ago, I love that Priscilla and her and Elvis' daughter loved his portrayal of Elvis. That right there from them who knew him very well is Golden!!
When Austin talks EVERYONE went silent wow he's so beautiful and so classy everyone in this room was hanging on his lips
What a couch! Glorious stories from both of the wonderfully iconic guests!
That voice could melt just about any damn thing!!!
Damn Austin is so humble and the dude is like a breath of fresh air. I have watched Elvis atleast 5 times now. He 100% killed it..
