Gotta say I like the mixed format better. I always tend to watch both videos so having both in one makes things easier for me and also makes it easier to compare reactions between the two.
I typically watch Angel's share as my speed is lower, similar to Angel's. Having the mix format allows me to see more speed similar to my wife's who's been bowling since middle school. I've been bowling for just over a year. Thank you both for the info provided.

I said nearly 2 years ago when the no balance hole rule was announced that I felt similar combinations of core/cover with low asymmetry would be the answer as it takes holes especially low holes very well. Glad I haven't forgotten everything!
I love this format. As I am identical with Angel's throw, i associate my game with hers but always love your commentary. Love your colab work with DH. I'm eyeing this ball as a compliment and transitional piece to my Crux Prime and Astro Physix.
Love the new format! I’m going to a demo that my college coach is hosting this weekend and I’d love to try out the rubicon. Never had a chance to try the alpha crux so a ball that’s similar would be really interesting to me!
I would agree to an extent. As far as an Asymm core surrounded by a not-super-strong solid cover, yes. The core in the Villains has a higher RG to push it further down the lane, and is VERY ASYMMETRIC compared to the mildly asymmetric core in the Rubicon. Not sure how the covers compare. For me, when my OG Villain got some lane shine, it was pretty fast downlane.
Mr. Rosdahl, would you think a comparison of the Rubicon to the Physix would be valuable? Seems like they both scream versatility and might fit a similar spot in an arsenal. Would be interested in your thoughts!
Possibly, I'll take them both out one of these days and have a look. The PhysiX is a stronger asym and has quite a bit stronger cover but I can see the similarity now that you mention it, so it'll probably happen. They've got similar looks on the lane and shapes through the pins
I'm loving this new format. Keep that up.....I did have 1 observation, not with your filming...but I just bought a UFO from my local pro shop and before realizing it, according to Roto's site, if you select the UFO and then compare it to the Rubicon, the shapes are almost identical. I found that a bit odd with how much stronger the UFO looked on your filming....what do you make of that?
UFO has both a stronger cover and stronger core, however, it does SHAPE fairly similar to the Rubicon, it's just a handful of boards stronger as far as actual traction is concerned. I think it's probably just a slip up on the website.
Another great review! Yeah you can see why Prather cleans up with that Idol. He has such a smooth release with perfect ball speed. It’s strong enough to carry those corner pins and archs enough to hold the tugged shots enough to Trip those 4s 😂 That Axiom revs up nicely for Angel, I’ll bet she cleans up in league playing deep inside. Man that Rubicon looks nice. How did it do with minor carry down while you filmed?
I’m one of the lucky ones to have an alpha crux and I can’t imagine not having one, if i were to have to replace it, is the rubicon the closest ball to it?
It was out for a really long time in terms of bowling ball life. People generally want new and fresh and if a ball makes it past a year and a half, that's pretty outstanding realistically.
If I can do them like this, I think yes. The first couple I tried to do this for were like 7 or 8 minutes long, and after 4 or 5, people start getting bored, so that's why I separated them. I can save some of the thoughts for the comparison videos, and if I can get these to come in between 4 and 5 minutes, I think they'll work better this way.
Luke Rosdahl - I don’t get bored by the length. I like all the details you throw in. Those details are why your reviews are better than everyone else’s. if you combine them it’s just less clicking for me than 2 separate videos. However you structure them don’t lose too much of the nitty gritty
