Vunerable people need more free legal aid
Absolutely disgusting that there are thousands of people who drive without insurance, MOT, banned from driving etc and thousands who regularly drink and drive. Those people are disgusting people with no caring about anyone else. Despite losing her child, the worst thing that any mother can go through, she only forgot to insure the car for ONE DAY. That’s pretty impressive when you’ve lost your baby. After I lost my daughter I was late paying my council tax and they wrote to me saying they would prosecute. My mum wrote to them saying I had lost my daughter and with evidence from the funeral home and they wrote back saying how sorry they were and that of course they wouldn’t be doing anything to me. The way this woman has been treated with nobody bothering to look at her mitigation information is disgraceful.
Disgusting how they treated this poor grieving mother, I’m absolutely devastated for her 😳
Every volunteer prosecutor should be investigated. Can't be ruining people's lives as you like.

Magistrates have no legal training. This is not legal process surely and should be appealed

Why say guilty and expect a judge or the very system against you to believe you. Say no comment and request for legal aid solicitor even though the legal aid solicitors will fight your case to lose it. Lawyers only get interested if they see money
I believe that this video is highlighting that the option you are suggesting is not available at the moment. Very little time (45 seconds on average) is spent on each case. All very sad
Absolutely disgusting all during loss & grief. The judiciary in this country is broken. A certain individual (sounds like who) recently was given less for what he done. Imagine not reading the mitigating circumstances given to them, absolutely laziness & is affecting people’s lives.
Absolutely disgusting she told them the truth and and was honest and still got punished this is the uk government and MP's HA I BET if it was one of the MPs they wouldn't even get done for it things need to change in this country the government is an absolute joke
council tax is another one if you go into hospital and you miss a payment.they want all the money for the year in one go even if it's still 10 months left this needs fixing this is causing distress and also Hardship
u should have the 12 months to pay so people can catch up
The single justice procedure, if necessary, needs proper management. 40,000 a month is manageable. 25 people, 1600 cases a month each is substantial but doable in reasonable working hours.

The UK has not got a decent , fair or just legal system.
This is not about guilt, just about being able to give a number to say guilty no matter what, one thing you are missing is local councils hiring courtroom n judiciary that are outside the criminal justice system, but pretend to be.

Problem also, not all lawyers are honest, trustworthy human beings.
Their first love appears to be money rather than truth and justice. Some are corruptible.
