What you see as awkward and weird, I see as normal and every day. I spent more than half my life feeling awkward and weird, so having people who think they are (but really aren't) in my circle feels like meeting and hanging out with a good friend. All 3 of my besties and my mate are all "awkward and weird" too. I think I prefer the Maplelea Lunar New Years outfit, so elegant. Thank you for sharing it. Love Rainbow!

I share these things to help because I like seeing videos for the same reason 🤓 Just so you know, you MAY get 31 in the camp outift instead of 51. She’s the same mold and wig but with lighter skin and eyes. It’s a retired doll, so it’s good in that sense, but if you prefer 51 (as I do, but I wanted both) it can be a negative. Either way she’s a beautiful sculpt!
One of the reasons I really enjoy your channel is because it does really like listening to a friend talk. I love hearing people talk about things they love! You’ve also introduced me to a few new AGtube channels, which I really appreciate because I only got into collecting this past year. The Maplelea Lunar New Year outfit is beautiful! Choi Hung (I hope I spelled that right) is absolutely gorgeous in it. It suits her really well. The AG outfit is also very pretty, but I think I prefer the Maplelea one. Lunar New Year is January 29! I just taught my students about it.

I especially enjoy seeing your customs and unboxings of Maplelea items (their stock photos might actually be worse than AG!). In fact, I was on the fence about getting the Lunar New Year Dress, but the fabric and details come across so beautifully in your video (those shoes!) that I’ve added it to my wishlist! I think it’s nice that you’ve made so many doll friends through your channel. It always feels like we’re just sitting here chatting and catching up! I wasn’t so j retested in your answers that u didn’t realize until just before you did, that the video was almost over and you hadn’t dressed your dolls! The Maplelea outfit is amazing!! You mentioned in another Maplelea video about how lifelike they are, they hit the uncanny valley. That really struck a chord with me. I also find them more life like by themselves but they look awkward next to an AG. I do think there is a bit of the uncanny valley going on there. I think the newer Maplelea molds look better. Can’t wait to see a scene with the Maplelea dolls!

That’s what I get for stealing her idea 😆 A couple of the Maplelea dolls display nicely with AG, but others are so polar opposite they don’t compliment one another. Having Maplelea dolls lined up is another story. They look more luxurious than AG (aside from Brianneable of course-she’s an 18” nightmare! But she makes me laugh)

Hi again. I just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. Yours help me to relax after a stressful day. Also, I believe if it was not for your video on how you dealt with your love of dolls and didn't care about anyone else's opinions I would have stopped my doll collecting and probably would have been rid of the ones I have. Now, am happy to say I have my own doll room where I go to relax and my family just shuts up about it. Also, the other reason I love your videos is honestly I have no idea why but your voice and rants just help me relax and sleep better. I have had issues sleeping my entire life, and for whatever reason I sleep better. I am sad to hear you stopped buying AG dolls. I understand why, but kind of makes me sad. Hey Blaine! I really enjoy your content (especially Maplelea, which I just got into this past year). Your videos often feel like you’re talking to friends, and it’s nice to have more male collectors sharing their love of dolls. I especially enjoy seeing your customs and unboxings of Maplelea items (their stock photos might actually be worse than AG!). In fact, I was on the fence about getting the Lunar New Year Dress, but the fabric and details come across so beautifully in your video (those shoes!) that I’ve added it to my wishlist! I think it’s nice that you’ve made so many doll friends through your channel. I don’t have any doll social media, which feels a bit isolating (I would definitely be like Nanny from Muppet Babies and never show my face!), but I’m glad you are finding a sense of community through your channel. You are doing great, and I look forward to future videos!

It always feels like we’re just sitting here chatting and catching up! I wasn’t so j retested in your answers that u didn’t realize until just before you did, that the video was almost over and you hadn’t dressed your dolls! The Maplelea outfit is amazing!!
You mentioned in another Maplelea video about how lifelike they are, they hit the uncanny valley. That really struck a chord with me. I also find them more life like by themselves but they look awkward next to an AG. I do think there is a bit of the uncanny valley going on there. I think the newer Maplelea molds look better.

A couple of the Maplelea dolls display nicely with AG, but others are so polar opposite they don’t compliment one another. Having Maplelea dolls lined up is another story. They look more luxurious than AG (aside from Brianneable of course-she’s an 18” nightmare! But she makes me laugh)
Thank you for sharing. I love how you make your videos feel like talking to a friend. I love both Maplelea and AG dolls but Maplelea is starting to be more interesting to me.

I love your videos! I don’t collect dolls because I find them a little scary but love to see your collection. That Maplelea doll is the stuff of nightmares for me…..she is pretty, but very lifelike compared to the AG doll.

Hi again. I just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. Yours help me to relax after a stressful day. Also, I believe if it was not for your video on how you dealt with your love of dolls and didn't care about anyone else's opinions I would have stopped my doll collecting and probably would have been rid of the ones I have. Now, am happy to say I have my own doll room where I go to relax and my family just shuts up about it. Also, the other reason I love your videos is honestly I have no idea why but your voice and rants just help me relax and sleep better. I have had issues sleeping my entire life, and for whatever reason I sleep better. I am sad to hear you stopped buying AG dolls. I understand why, but kind of makes me sad. I still watch because of course I sleep better but also I love your doll dressing ideas. Cheers!

She is fond of you and how you display your dolls. I can see why she likes you so much. I collect OG dolls and not American girls because I live in UK and we don't get the AG brand here. I don’t have any OG, but I’ve been transitioning my collection more toward Maplelea (the Canadian 18”dolls) since they’re easier to collect here. So hopefully videos of those dolls will interest you 🫣
