i think its actually one of their better episodes, but some parts of it just felt like a "f*** you" to their fans. and by that i mean the kids who really do enjoy the show. it felt more like they wrote this episode for themselves more than anything else. not to mention hitting the 200 episode mark is something that only 3 CN shows have ever done with TTG being the only one to ever formally celebrate it. they could have gone all out and done their best episode ever, but instead they made the entire plot of the episode "making a cartoon is hard and we dont want to do it anymore, just accept that its over" only to go back on it at the last second. this would have made a great plot for an actual final episode is what im saying but as a normal episode in the middle of the series it just doesnt make sense

I don't care what happened in the 200th Episode, I saw one cringeworthy clip of the episode on Instagram and wanted to die so that probably sums it up as well as the whole show in general so yeah.
Well there still isn't confirmation that the show has been renewed or cancelled yet. Besides that's just a holiday special so it's possible that it was finished before the 200th episode.
"We constantly make new episodes every week and it's exhausting. Making cartoons is hard." - This episode in a nutshell. What ticked me off about this, was it seemed the staff wanted to simply be recognized for the hard work they put into TTG. I'm sorry, but no matter how hard you work, if it isn't quality, why should people recognize it? Especially when your message at the end is basically... "Screw the critics, we make this for the kids who like it." The critics of TTG are simply saying that kids would appreciate the show more if it was quality instead of a fad that will eventually die out.
