Best land session ever David, what an epic video, you turn the 12m as a 9m so fast! What a flying machine. The details of the finishing parts are in another level, I hope Duotone keep this level in the making of every single kite, fingrr crossed 😊. I think I'm gonna sell my old duotones kites and ask fir a bank loan 🤭🤙
@ventparits3463 yes it's a masterpiece, everything is refined so much, the stitching even is specific about the exact spacings and patterns, no wasted space or weight, maximum efficiency! Love it

@lewiswilby the 12m is a beast, I haven't tried the other sizes but we should try the sls back to back with the D/LAB next 🤙😍

@Randombourg get down to Frinton and you can try it out, if your not close, Duotone try to do lots of demo days, it's definitely worth while trying it out!

@@mikemularczyk1574 yes we get some pretty good updrafts but only when it's south Easterly winds so we wait till year for the perfect wins and when they come we are very happy

What’s the difference between the Vortex and the Rebel both are aluula kites but the Vortex is lighter and also jumps high. Would love your take on this?
@katetalkatetal2232 Vortex is a good kite, it's similar to the evo, we find when we share these kites the duotone always are more confidence inspiring and easier to use. The Evo is great for looping and really nice for jumping.
The Rebel is best for jumping high and staying there for a long time, the rebel is the easiest kite to jump really high and land really soft. The rebel doesn't loop as easily as the evo though. It does loop fine but the evo loops easier for learning loops

Which of the Evo Dlab and the Rebel Dlab is Best just general? Your opinion.
Evo => Fast and NON agressive
Rebel => Height & hangtime
@manolander231 I love evo for looping in 7 8 9 10m and rebel in all sizes for boosting I'll be getting a 8 10 to go with the 12m. I would love a 13m dlab rebel too
@@DavidUrsell, I’m glad that they finally fixed their seam issues! 10psi is insanely stiff for Aluula! Now, I’m really curious about next year’s EVO d-lab. Should be amazing if they go to 10 psi and reduce the leading edge diameter.
I’m curious, what wind speed would you take the 8m Rebel d-lab out? Also, how many kilos do you weigh? Thanks for the cool videos!
@@collegepros How do you know they are gonna do a new version of the evo Dlab ? Will they change the leading edge?
@@francoisdouillard710 because the current version is now 2 years old. I believe they are updating their d-lab kites every 2 years like they did with the NEO d-lab. Also, since they only have one kite designer for all their kites, it would make sense. The EVO d-labs have had a lot of seaming issues. The EVO is one of my favorite kites. I will probably get a Rebel d-lab, but very curious about next year’s EVO d-lab. I generally like all around type kites.

Brilliant.. whats your take on the rebel vs vortex lift wize and ease of timing been on the edges for ever but on the fence on rebel or vortex.. rebel seems even more floaty then the vortex.. ? Keep stoked.!!
@NielsVisser-g4q the a rebel is more user friendly and easier to get high and get down softly too, I've just ordered more of them for myself!

What is the bar pressure like compared with the EVO D-lab? Thanks.
@@collegepros the bar pressure on the rebel dlab is a bit heavier than the Evo dlab however it is not as heavy as the older rebels it is a happy medium in between the two and I certainly do not find the bar pressure to be too heavy on the rebel I think it's quite a nice bar pressure that gives you a really Direct feel.

2025 sls much faster lighter and funkier kite, dlab felt like a pickup truck to me
@ozcinar4280 I have my sls rebels,I haven't actually flown them yet, terribly wind recently but I can't wait!
The Dlabs are lighter, thats just a fact.
I tester them both side by side, the dlabs are also faster. I doubt you tested both..
