Hey, I'll be starting at JGLS this August. I have a few questions regarding academics. Do I need to bring any specific books or study materials? If so, could you recommend which books would be most useful?
I did prepared for CLAT but in 2020 it was pushed to much later, LSAT was in June and gave this just as a back up. So, my prep was CLAT but I never ended up giving it.
yes they do provide heaters, fall sem'23 there was a huge shortage of heaters, so only 1 heater per room was given which was useless, so mostly people do personal arrangements.

I know professor are great and curriculum too i just wanna know about placements like how is the placements there higest package and average package there plss tell me from anyone u know there are no information on website and google

everyone staying on campus is treated equally, there is no preferential treatments or benefits masters students get, there can be cases of your roommate being a bachelors student as well.

Could you tell me if cigs are there in the campus and if yes how accessible is it ? Or maybe are there any smoke places right outside the campus that I could go to after class ends in the evening

I did not do any LSAT specific preparation. I prepared for other law entrance exams and that covered everything.

Are the hostel rooms air conditioned ?
yes
yes, there are but its just decent. not very good Air conditioning, you may feel hot despite Ac working

yeah they are available on campus, also you can go out cross the road from campus and smoke.
