little tip for an otherwise amazing video, if the sun is extremely bright and you can't see, I wouldn't turn off sunrays, I think it's too nice of an effect to lose, instead use the page down button in game to turn down the exposure, for my ppfilter I have it at only 30% , because at 100 the sun is really bright.
I've got a little problem. I can set the steering but when I try to set the throttle/brakes It just doesn't recognize them. My pedals work because I can see it at the top right but it just doesn't apply.
when i try to open content manager an error pops up saying "System.IO.IOException: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." followed by another 30 lines or so of code. What should i do i tried redownloading cm, reinstalling ac, disk checking all my partitions, reinstalling everything on another drive, nothing will work. It worked completely normal for so long then it didnt. It happened while my cat was sleeping on my keyboard with my pc open i really wanna know what's causing this.
Sadly there are lots of mixed messages on this kind of error. One option is to delete CM entirely and download the latest version, from there make sure your Steam game is picked up properly under settings and see how far that takes you.

This could be corruption, so make sure to verify your installation. I've not come across the issue personally, but from what I've read, it can be where the game is partially installed in two separate locations.
Guys, is the extended physics checkbox better to keep it active for all cars or not? I noticed that with the extended physics the lap times drop slightly and the ffb clips more easily
I believe this is only really useful if you want rain physics on vehicles that don't have that checked on by default anyway. Cars that have it enabled I don't think it has an impact on and if the track/vehicle doesn't support it then it'll make not difference.

The mods that content manager wants to install for you are usually in zip files. Winzip is a shareware app for such a thing but on later versions of Windows you already have something to extract these without additional installation. Install something like 7Zip that can do this for you and is completely free, that is, if your OS can't do the job for you without it. www.7-zip.org/download.html
Nope, you're not being silly at all, that feature is well buried. Sorry for the slow reply, I was having too much fun on holiday! 😅 In case you didn't find the answer to your question yet: Go to the [Drive] tab, then from there towards the bottom left if you are playing single->quick you'll find the option under the difficulty preset, that might be Pro, Gamer, Intermediate, etc. Across from tyre blankets the 3 vertical dots menu, if you click that you can set your assists. If you're playing online, you'll first have to select a server which allows the assists. On bringing up the screen where you get details on the server, just to the left of the [Join] button you'll see assists, click that and you can change to auto shifting, auto clutch, etc.
Were you looking at the in-game lobby? I'm using Content Manager in this video, mind you, the video is a little old now so they might have updated that too.

@@montenegrofishing7497 Are you opening the game from Steam? If so, that isn't using Content Manager. You'll have to start up Assetto Corsa from Content Manager itself.
That normally suggests you are trying to look for Assetto Corsa in the wrong directory. From Steam, right click on AC, you then need to select properties > local files and click browse. Copy the folder location you see here (hint it'll contain an apps directory) and in Content Manager go to Settings > Content Manager > General and change your Assetto Corsa folder to the one you just opened in Steam.

This sounds like Content Manager hasn't successfully managed to find your steam details. If you open Content Manager then go to Settings>Content Manager>General you can manually set your ac path and Steam ID. It should find these for you automagically though.
Hi David. Good question. For the UI apps I believe you can scale them individually. When you move them around they have an anchor point which allows you to scale them. As for the text and main UI, that is a harder question. I don't believe you can do a lot from within Content Manager but there are some settings for the launcher in Steamapps/Common/assettocorsa/cfg/launcher.ini where you can play with LIMITWIDTH and IGNOREDPI though be sure to back up your settings before making any changes 😀

The Maximum Scale for the Apps is Almost big enough but still too small, and the With Limit is for Triple Screen and doesn't affect anything (I've tested it), the DPI doesn't affect anything too surprisingly. Both options are in the Original Base Game Settings (Not Content Browser).
Under the Drive section for quick races it is in the bottom left, under some presets (Pro, Intermediate, Gamer) and slightly to the right of Tyre Blankets. You'll see 3 dots (ellipsis), click this and it'll pop up a window which shows mechanical damage. To do the same in career mode you need to first select a championship and then it'll appear as a 3 dot button on the bottom right of the screen to the left of the Go! button. Hope that helps!
That's the Drive > Single screen. If you look at the menu at the top of Content Manager, click Drive on the top left and then underneath that menu click single, it'll then give you those options.

From content manager, go to Settings > Assetto Corsa > Controls and select wheel from the drop down. If your controls are recognised by Windows you should be able to assign them from here. Specifically for the shifter you'll need to move away from the Axis panel and go to Buttons, there you can assign your sequential shifter or check the H-shifter box and assign all your gears individually. Hope that helps!

You've dipped into the cutting edge of the Custom Shaders Patch. Rain FX should be available in the latest CSP but I'll have to dig into that one for you!

Normally you'll find this under a folder in Steam. Something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa is typical unless you've changed the install location of Steam or installed it in another way.
That was just an example folder, to find your own, load up Steam, go to your library and find Assetto Corsa. Right Click the game from your list and click properties. Select "Local Files" and then Browse which will open an explorer window in your installation location. That is the directory you need to supply to Content Manager. Hope that helps!

okay so im late but if youve not figured it out yet, run the controls setup in assetto and save the profile and apply it in content manager

I'm not sure I entirely understand your meaning. Are you trying to load Assetto Corsa or ACC?

Content Manager uses your Steam game install, so any feature from Steam should work as you'd expect.

You should be fine with the GT DD Pro + Formula 2.5. With PlayStation compatibility it is on the base rather than the wheel rim. 🙂
