Awesome video. I think of it when I reminisce on my 2003 Sportster 1200 Edit: I remember seeing this video when I got my Sportster almost a decade ago. Was hard to find!
Until the introduction of the XR1200 in 2008, the XL1200S was H-D's most powerful Sportster model. I have recently purchased a 2009 XR1200, it is the most powerful and best handling air cooled Sportster by far.
Thanks for the props. The bike has all the work done to the engine...a bit of a sleeper sporty. Bigger cams, bored out, shaved heads for higher compression
Nice vid, you can see the effort that went into making it.. Thanks.

Dual front discs, two into one exhaust, rigid mount 1200...that's a sporty Sporty! Nice!
Thanks! Yeah this bike was a lot of fun when I had it. If I remember right it was the Sportster S model which gave it some more GOGO juice.
dope bike and dope little vid brother. thumbs up

What happened to your tachometer?
The music drowned out the sound of the exhaust. Other than that, good video and great bike. Love the 1200 S!
awesome video man! that road really comes in handy huh?
driving on the left, but yellow lines in the road.wheres this?
john benjamin a dead end service road that no one but service trucks use. Relatively safe.
oh right, you in u.s. then.i just got sportster saturday and loving it.
@DJStuTV That road is the best. except when you have state workers trying to take naps on it =P lol
Those are replacement rear shocks, right? Progressives? Do they make a difference?
David Lehrer the bike came with the gas shock setup but they seemed to help with slop and I never had an issue with them being too stiff either.
I want that two into one pipe for my 07 Sportster 1200. Who makes it ?
Back in the day it was Thunderheader exhaust
High quality video (good camera) .....but are you going to do anything to the bike, its basically a factory bike
what a pity you sold it!
what pipes do you have? i have the exact same ones on mine but have no clue what they are, bought the bike with them previously installed
lee Duncan If i remember right they are the thunder header 2/1 exhaust...no baffles :)
