Total Badass!!!..Well done Brother....As said before..... we ain't got em like that in Florida...Your at the top of your game...Godspeed and safety. Much and Total Respect from St Petersburg Florida U.S.A....
Another AMAZING video! I'm 55 years old, been working in concrete construction for 33 years and still love the actual work but of course hate the daily bs that goes with it. If I could have seen this video when I was 16 and know what I now know I would have taken a much different career path. It's too late to change horses now so thank you for letting me live my dream job thru your videos!
Amen Brother....I feel the same way and have done similar work.... Masonry/Stone/Concrete...40+yrz... I often think that missed my calling... It's cool to have people like this who shares it. Also to find kindred spirits. Godspeed and safety to you. Much Respect from St Petersburg Florida U.S.A
Excellent vid... As always... Great job Brother and always looking for your next post.... Old or new vidz doesn't matter... Still top shelf... Godspeed and safety... That was a really cool video ! I like that you took the time to explain what you were doing and why. Where is this place? BTW you don't have to speed it up. l for one don't mind a longer video.👍
Would love if you took the time to explain what your doing more often like you did here. Your obviously very good at what you do even from a laymens eyes like mine. Love the vids brother. Stay safe out there.
@@BjarneButler hell if I'd remember ..we weren't allowed to dump anything remotely close to anything that even looked like a frog humped in it, let alone a fish swam by a 100 yrs ago. I'm being smart..cant remember specs on the rip zone anymore...just from the video angle looked like that fatty blasted right over the top of it..I wasnt there and it's just a question and youd be far better in the know than I would these days sir. Slick cuts by the way man. High caliber. Log it burn it pave it
You clearly know nothing about logging or falling old growth, especially on the coast. In the first 30seconds of the video I said twice that I was on right-a-way. That means a road is going to be built, following the center line that I clearly point out. Also I point out that the tree saved out about 2/3 before the first break, for a 180ft 6ft tree on uneven ground on a slope in the snow,.The top of that tree is hitting the ground with tremendous force, it’s the norm to have a break near the top especially in uneven ground. The tree was near solid at the butt how do you come to the conclusion that it is worthless? Go ahead explain that to me. And amateur? Been falling wood like this for over 14years so explain to me what an expert would do. Or better yet make a video yourself and show me or are you just a UA-cam falling expert? I’m eagerly waiting to hear your expert falling wisdom.

Unbelievable!!
Tree sounded like a shotgun going off man that was a fatty kind of spooky when ur tree stands up on the cut nice job
Great video as usual. How about doing a video on how those monster logs are removed from the hillside?
I am logger and have been sense 1979. Biggest trees I have ever cut were 48" white and red oak.
Great video some really nice cedar it doesn't say where it is I'm guessing West coast of the island somewhere rugged ground medium-sized nice quality cedar

Nice video bro. Shout out from the Sayward valley
Cool man. I was just up there looking at a couple jobs. Where’s a good place to stay for my crew or should I rent a house?
Fisher boy is a good place to stay. They lay planting crews stay and are really cool with shit
Ok thanks
Saw cuts like butter. Some of that is 2nd and 3rd growth timber.
Nice vid bud! Give me five minutes in there and I’d be totally lost!

Thanks. Will do. I do have a couple older videos I’ll be posting. They weren’t meant to be on UA-cam so there’s no commentary
You poor bugger ... working in the snow ..tough as mate.
As long as my saw cuts straight, I’m dressed right for the current weather and I got a good lunch then I’m as happy as a seagull with a French fry
Sounds just like a nitro rc car 🤣
Are they yarding or heli logging?
now how do you get these huge trees out of these places I've seen you felling
Sky line. Helicopter.yarder.
When the tree fall it seems to split, wouldn't it render it useless for boards. Or is there a different product thats made from it?
Cedar is very valuable. If the slabs are big enough they’ll still be shipped to the mill
So how do y’all get the logs out of there? That terrain is nuts
Looks like helicopter ground.
Nice job, were you located?
Vancouver island
👋🏻
No Riparian zone for that creek where you mention the culvert ribbon?
Yes there is a riparian zone along the creek, which I think would be called a river because it’s at the valley bottom?

Sorry I meant the big river beside the block not the small creek running down the hill.
This wood looks not so good. Maybe its just used as firewood..?
That tree is junk now ,you should left it alone ,its busted up worthless ! Sad to see such amateur work
