- Join us as we travel to Atlanta, Georgia for a round of the SCCA Hoosier Super Cup Spec Miata Championship at the prestigious Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta Circuit. We fly from Heathrow to Atlanta with Virgin Atlantic and spend a day getting to know the track and testing in a left-hand drive MK2 Mazda (Miata) supported by Ohio based CRP Racing.
Subscribe for future videos every Saturday at 5 p.m.
We start our adventure by staying at The Renaissance Hotel at London Heathrow the night before our flight and enjoy a good meal in their restaurant before getting an early night.
We get a taxi to Terminal 3 the next morning and have a browse around the Duty Free shop before boarding our flight.
The flight goes smoothly and we get a taxi from Atlanta Airport to the track to meet the Ohio based family run CRP Racing team, who are providing the hire car for Luke this weekend, before heading to our hotel, the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham at Braselton, close to the track.
The next morning we get to the the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta Circuit early and enjoy the quiet calm of sunrise at this beautiful track. After the driver briefing Luke gets out on track to test the car and get used to the different tyres, set-up and racing style as well as having to change gear with his right hand!
CRP Racing, owned and run by John and Alissa Grim, have provided an awesome car and they and their son, Aryton - who is also racing in a different championship this weekend - support Luke to maximise his performance and by the end of the day he is really getting to grips with the car and is relieved to be putting in some really quick lap times.

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for 20 years. We have stayed on International Drive, Universal Resorts, and several Walt Disney World Resorts and became Disney Vacation Club members in 2022. Inspired by seeing other people sharing their adventures on UA-cam, we decided to document our experiences too. When not in Florida we run our B&B near Stonehenge and support Luke’s motor racing adventures in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship. We film on a Canon G7X Mark II compact camera and edit using iMovie. All content represents only the views and opinions of the Cheers Ears family.
With or without Disney, in any combination of Pullens, Cheers Ears brings the laughs and the heart!! Thank you for sharing this with us❤ We’re all so proud of you, Luke!
Aww thanks so much thats really appreciated x
I don't know a thing about race car driving but I thoroughly enjoyed watching your interactions, nerves and excitement - what a special experience for the two of you! Looking forward to the next installments in this series! 😊
Thanks so much it really was an amazing trip. A real bucket list thing for me
What a great little mini series! Thank you, great viewing.

Love Luke’s energy 🙌 Entering his Lightning McQueen era 🏎️
100%
Loved this! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I know nothing about racing but I'm very excited for your family and Luke. I wish Luke nothing but the best and hope his hard work will continue to bring him phenominal success!
Aww thanks so much . Hope you're having a great week x
Brought back memories of my trip to Atlanta with friends for Wrestlemania. We took on the challenge of drinking 60 different items in World of Coca Cola!
I’m not a racing fanatic but the combo of passionate Luke and proud Keith made this a must watch.
And it might just be me, but “female” Keith looked a lot like Daisy!
Oh wow that sounds like a proper challenge. Thanks so much it really was an amazing experience
I went to Atlanta GA in 2006 and it honestly felt like we were the only ones on the flight! Very different to Florida flights! Good memories.
Yeah couldn't agree more the flight home wasn't as good though
So lovely to see you both in another vlog. I personally love all the vlogs- Disney, racing, home- all wonderful 😊
Aww thanks so much thats really appreciated xxx
Great first video of what appears to be a sensational Hoosier racing weekend in the USA! As a native of Indiana, I've found the origin and pronunciation of Hoosier (WHO SURE) a fun tale with one of the most common folktales going back to Indiana's settler period. As the story goes, when a visitor knocked on a cabin door in Indiana, the settler inside would respond, “Who's yere?” That greeting supposedly evolved into “ Hoosier". Now with that history lesson, here's hoping you lads had a thrilling racing weekend and I'll check back next week for the checkered flag.
Thanks so much and I love the story too. I'll relay that Luke because we were wondering. Hope you're having a great weekend
Oh god, it’s these two lol thanks for taking us along, what a great adventure!
You're super welcome
This was so lovely to watch. Well done Luke!

Lukey boy was wired from the off in hotel room so brilliant to see a young man pumped up and living his dreams along with his Mega nice Papa Bear! Sorry to the girls big shout out to you not being in this one!

Keith & Luke, that was great to follow along....really enjoyed that. I don't know alot at all about motor racing but I now know more than i did.🙌 And awesome stuff seeing an american circuit, really cool. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed it
Welcome back to the blog Luke! You have been missed! I live in Detroit area and this weekend we are hosting the Detroit Grand Pre. They race through our streets.
Oh wow that sounds amazing
Welcome to the state of Georgia,I know it's been a few weeks since y'all last came but y'all are more than welcome to come back. I live about 15-20 minutes away from road Atlanta. Wish I could have made it but was working a double shift but still had time to watch the race on my phone.
And yes Uber is far and in-between here and also Lyft as well. You will find more Uber and Lyft in the major cities around but if you do find one in a small to medium town you better get it because they are very rare
Ah thanks so much. We'll remember that for next time. We had such an awesome time and what a lovely area
That was such a fun watch! Looking forward to the next vlog!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What an awesome vlog! Looking forward to the rest of the series
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love that hotel. Been there many times. There’s a bus stop just outside the hotel, free bus lol 😂
We loved it too. Can believe we didn't know there was a bus stop there
Hiya!. that is gorgeous . ;)
Wow! What an amazing experience for Luke. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing the next episode.
It was such an awesome trip
Well done Lukey boy. Looks like you both had an amazing experience. Looking forward to seeing part 2.
Was such an awesome trip
I guess, you will have to come reside in the States for 6 months out of the year now. This was a lovely vlog of Ted and Luke’s adventures! ❤
That's the plan
hi keith and like what an amazing experience this is congrats 🐅
It was awesome
Great vlog. You could have got a TFL bus from outside the hotel for £1.75 on contactless. Also they do have runway room views that are a plane spotters paradise.
Good to know for next time. Really liked the hotel and would definitely stay there again
Y’all are in our neck of the woods. Glad yall had nice weather. We had lots of rain this spring. Go Team Luke. My son was just up at Road Atlanta a few weeks ago watching the Drift races. 🤷♀️. Don’t know much about these things. Ha.
Oh wow. What a lovely place to live. We absolutely loved it there and can't wait to go back. Hope you're having a great week
I have been to that facility and its deep in the country. Clarifying that while they say “Atlanta”, you drove through the city and then over an hour into the country. Its lovely out there but no one takes Uber that far out. Car rental for sure, next time! Come visit us IN Atlanta next time. Its an hour away without traffic.
We absolutely loved it there and would love to go back aswell. Definitely will hire a car though
Have a great time back in the States! You have a free tour of Senoia, Ga., where they filmed The Walking Dead, waiting for you if you make it here. 🙂
Ahh thanks so much. We love being over there. Hopefully more to come. Hope you guys are having a great week
Join us at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut-great road course, MiataCon in October! Stay well, buckle up for safety!
Would love too and miatacon sounds awesome
Gosh, that brought back some memories. My first ever trip to the States was in 1998 and I went to watch a race at Road Atlanta! It's a really great track and I met a group of American racing enthusiasts there - a couple of whom I'm still in contact with.
Really enjoyed this vlog and I'm looking forward to seeing how Luke got on. By the way - apologies if I missed it but did you say why Luke was racing out there?
Thanks Mark. It was an awesome trip for sure. We went to see what Lukes pace was like compared to the other drivers in the US as we would love to race a season out there
Hey Keith, I was born in Atlanta. Fulton county Georgia
What a lovely place
🚦🏎️💨🏁👍.. ❤️🙏
How did you guys get into racing originally? Asking for my future son
Lukes always been massively into cars so we decided to give it a go about 4 years ago. Did a few arrive and drive go kart bits and PlayStation games but that was it. We did a test day with a team and went from there
