Thanks for the tips and tricks. Love the decorating with the doily. Maybe next make a video documentary of how doilies and lace were done and became popular throughout Greece and the Greek islands etc

Made this yesterday. It was so easy and delicious. Excellent texture and flavor. I cut the recipe in half since there is just two of us. A must recipe to keep and make frequently.

Made this just now and it’s DELICIOUS!!! Thank you for the recipe. I had some heavy cream to use up so I subbed that in for some of the milk. So so good.

Hi Nikki. A couple of my family members are diabetic but they love Greek rice pudding! Is there any substitute for the white sugar that can be used when making this recipe?

The cornstarch is not necessary if you would only boil the rice with milk instead. The starch from the rice will do the job.

I don’t understand why you use cornstarch at all tbh 😂 I make delicious rice pudding & it thickens on its own from the starch in the rice, without cornstarch or eggs.

1.5 cup of sugar is way too much. you should change it to 3/4 of a cup maybe less.
