I had a 61 CJ-5 with a Chevy small block and over drive , off roaded it all over Colorado ,later I bought a 58 M38A1. Still had the battery in the box in front of the windshield on the right side , both wrere good off roads for the tech of the time , bought a Ford GPW, in there somewhere ,sold it ,
@@pmrparts there was , but it has been years since I had the 61 ,bell housing and motor mounts were the main changes , and of course the warn overdrive , my current just empty every pocket project is a 70 commando , this one is a bunch simpeler

I have a ’61 CJ5 that I am considering swapping a small block Chevy into. Is there a kit available to make it fit?
