Thank you for your honest reaction. Ateez is the bestessst !!!! Make him watch Atzzz COACHELLA. Also takes a while to be immune to Kpop. My sister got into it like a month later 😂
ATEEZ!!!! They are my bias. I fell in love at first sight. You should try more of them. Because they are perfect! Stray Kids are amazing too. So many good songs.
i really liked this reaction! i love the honesty a lot and the choice of music. Ateez are my favorite followed by dreamcatcher so that was very nice that your best friend enjoyed ateez. Your hype about halazia made me smiiiiiile so i would love to see that reaction amongst other ones!
Kpop does take time to get used to, the pattern I notice is that people find one group they like and then they go back and take another listen to group they didn't and find they like it more than they did before. The more you listen the more things you enjoy, since there's so much I think that's some of the fun of it!
Same, I got in through Stray Kids and didn't really like any other groups at first but eventually as I got more exposure I ended up falling for Ateez and over time a whole bunch of other groups as well. Now it'd be hard for me to find a group with 0 songs that I like even if most of their discography isn't for me.
This was interesting. Thanks for introducing me to Dreamcatcher who I’d not gotten around to listening to. Stray Kids was the first K-pop group I started to follow and then found ATEEZ, also drawn in my their high energy and anthem optic beats.
This was fun. It's be interesting to hear his ranking after he heard each of them a few more times because it really does require a bit of adjustment to acclimate to kpop.
I’m surprised you didn’t play Scream by Dreamcatcher or Guerrilla by Ateez. But I’m really happy to find this video. These 3 groups are probably my ult K-pop groups 🖤
God’s menu is surely a unique case. it’s their most known song, highest mv views, but it was also a song that never won any award. but skz is indeed experiment a lot with their sound. we never know what to expect when it comes to their music and performance.
I like how respectful he was dispite being totally new and astray to listening to k-pop Great video! Dreamcatcher skz and ateez are my favorite groups so I think you gave him a great first impression of kpop!
@@LoReacts_ good luck with that 😂 luckily my best friend is as into it as I am. It's so much more fun together. Also, I forgot to mention it before, black cat nero was the reason why I thought that Jongho would sound great on a metal track ;)
Omg, he didn't like the last chorus of Geurrilla 😭 They're known for the last 30 seconds of their songs where they go so so hard, I'm surprised he didn't like it as much! But his reasoning made sense. It's a very very good song in concert! I've had the privilege of seeing Ateez in person multiple times and the energy is insane. As for the English, it's used more for style and sound. It also works to make the song catchy. That being said, there is a good portion of songs that are completely in Korean. Usually songs that arent title tracks (or pop music) are likely to be more in Korean.
I understand where you friend is coming from about Stray Kids. God's Menu was meant to be aggressive because it's a clap back to people who call their music "noise music". So for someone not familiar it can seem like a lot. For the fans we knew exactly who they were talking to and about.
P.s. Stray Kids are a pretty versatile group. They're known for their high energy and rap but they've a lot of other melodic songs including vocal driven ballads where even the regular rappers showcase their gorgeous vocals.. There are about 200 songs in their discography. If your curious about that side of them you could watch The First Take series where they sing some of their songs live. If you’d like a combo of anime related songs they have sung, you could try high energy TOP (intro to Tower of God) and the slower Slump (outdo). Slump was also live onThe First Take.
According to Dami, Dreamcatcher is a boy group, so you did indeed only show him boy groups in this video, lol. If you have him back, you'll need to show him something from DC that's heavier like Break the Wall, Vision, or one of their Japanese songs. Since he mentioned he like drum and bass then Sleep-Walking and BEcause could be good picks for him. Solid selection of songs. It's hard to go wrong with DC, Ateez, and Stray Kids. His critiques were very fair, and he was respectful. For Dreamcatcher, it's probably one of their most K-POP songs outside of BEcause or OOTD and if it wasn't for the chorus I probably wouldn't have liked it that much the first time I saw it either.
The moment you said that you were gonna show an Ateez song that you think is the best I was praying you would show Halazia. For me it's also one of the best kpop songs ever and I'm so sad that it never got the recognition it deserves, but I'm so glad that you get me xDDD

I really liked your friend's honesty. I became a kpop fan over a decade ago and I actually disliked a lot of songs in the beginning because it was all so unfamiliar.
I can actually shed a bit of light on WHY k-pop adds English in different places. Because English & Korean have different cadences & accents in speech, there are some words that doesn't fit in the place they want, but the other language does. If they only use one language for a full lyric, they might not get the impact they want. And it's not just English that is used. Some groups use Spanish, or french. The word/phrase has to fit the song, but also have the proper cadence & sound to give a bigger impact. Look at the word Star. In Korean it's byeol. Because it ends in a L sound, it's hard for it to be impactful. Where as Star has a harder consonant that can be made sharper to provide impact. So the switches in language are for impact.
Cool reaction, i liked the honesty and the commentary. I dont listen much to ateez or stray kids even if I actually do like their music so it was nice. I'm a bit confused on why Dreamcatcher fans show Boca first to rock and metal fans tho lol since its one of their pop-iest title tracks and has a lot of switches. Also the chorus i think is one of their more repetitive ones with few vocals. Still pretty fun to watch.
I had a really hard time picking a Dreamcatcher song, cause they don't have a single bad song imo! So I just let the streams decide which one I picked! Same with Gods Menu! 😊I do agree tho, Boca is far from my favorite DC title track, but it is the one that made me fall in love with them! 🥰
@@LoReacts_ Dreamcatcher not having bad songs is a fact tbh. I get the struggle to find the best one to show someone. I'm probably biased bc I do prefer their less EDM songs but their discography is so diverse, you could do several deep dives and still find surprises. Cheers!
I think Lalalala by stray kids is more something for him. It got more of that Phonk and Trap/House vibe to it. Godsmenu can be quite much for people who dont like this style of music. But the good thing about SKZ they got something for everyones taste. Ateez and SKZ are very similair and yet different and i absolutely love both

Haha we don’t hate his reaction - your friend was honest & respectful in his opinions. K-pop can seem quite different & a bit of a culture shock to start with. All it takes is the right song or group. Honestly, I was a bit “meh” too when my friend was first trying to get me into BTS & Black Pink. I admired the production quality & dancing but nothing really clicked, particularly as I’m not into “pop” music in general. But then a different friend showed me Stray Kids Maniac MV & EXO’s Monster & I absolutely loved them both immediately!! I completely fell down the EXO rabbit hole, then SKZ & now Ateez 😁 Some groups just happen click with you 🤷🏼♀️
A little more info about Stray Kids: They are a multi-award winning and record-setting (as far as pre-release / post-release album sales) group who perform in countries around the world in completely filled stadiums that hold upwards of 50K / 60K people, as well as performing incredible, bring-down-the-roof performances at various awards shows. They have been featured in many publications, among them Rolling Stone magazine, Billboard magazine and Time magazine (and many others). A 2020 article in Time Magazine said they had one of the top 10 songs of the entire year. They were the only K-pop group on the list. They have won rookie / male group / album / dance performance / single song / global artist and producer awards at the MTV VMAs, the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, the People's Choice Awards, the IHeartRadio Awards and many, many awards shows throughout Asia. They received a special award from the Prime Minister of South Korea. They consistently are among the top groups to be played on Spotify and other streaming music platforms. Their songs have been on Billboard's Hot 100 and Global 200 charts, and four (4) of their albums have been no. 1 on Billboard's top 200 album chart. And in 2024, among many other awards and honors, Stray Kids were the only K-pop group to make the Gold House A100 list of "Asian-Pacific Most Impactful Leaders." It recognizes the “100 Asian Pacific leaders who have most significantly impacted American culture and society in the last year.” .......just to give you an idea.
Love all 3 groups, they're all so good. I'd prefer Ateez more because of their music but i love some of Skz's songs too especially topline and social path. Miss both groups interaction so much.
I am not big on gg but Dreamcatcher is really good. I prefer older SKZ songs, don't really like the new stuff. For me ATEEZ is the only reason I started really listening to kpop. I was only a casual listener before and through them I started listening to Seventeen. They are my top 2 groups followed by SHINee and Xikers. This was an awesome video. I love seeing new people react to kpop. Thanks for the vid and have a beautiful day!! 🏴☠💜
That wasn't so much a reaction as it was a staring contest with the screen. For Trap music- Stray Kids"s Venom, Easy, Victory Song. Skz has 170+ songs , there is something for everyone. ATEEZ has Hala Hala, and Win off the top of my head. If your friend doesn't respond to these, then you should cut him out of your life! lol
@@S30NGJ1Nfor real. I'm a Stay and to see them come on EVERY. SINGLE. REACTION. VIDEO. and write the same stuff over and over and over again - it is pretty damn annoying. I love Felix and this ain't it. I think he'd agree.

I describe stray kids music is
"EXPRESSION OF LIFE"

Lyrics are beautifully expressed with so many meanings .
They have a diverse discography. I love the intellect, cleverness and creativity in songs. They have a very organic, fresh and unique sound. They didn't limited themself and explore the new side of music. You see so many new, refreshing and experimental sounds in their music. They explore different genres and express different emotions and touch so many important subjects like social pressure , anxiety, mental health, loneliness, depression insomnia etc.
They break many stereotypes in music. The more you listen to them the more you admire and become addicted to them and respect them more as artists. The music they made is connected with people with beautiful messages , inspiration and motivation . ❤❤❤
Stray Kids are insane! 3racha are demons in the industry, I have no idea how they manage to do it over and over again...! 😍
they are not the only self made and self produced group (they are from jyp which is a big company) nor do they have the most diverse discography.
I completely fell down the EXO rabbit hole, then SKZ & now Ateez 😁 Some groups just happen click with you 🤷🏼♀️
I wonder if he'd like Hala Hala?
A little more info about Stray Kids:
They are a multi-award winning and record-setting (as far as pre-release / post-release album sales) group who perform in countries around the world in completely filled stadiums that hold upwards of 50K / 60K people, as well as performing incredible, bring-down-the-roof performances at various awards shows.
And in 2024, among many other awards and honors, Stray Kids were the only K-pop group to make the Gold House A100 list of "Asian-Pacific Most Impactful Leaders." It recognizes the “100 Asian Pacific leaders who have most significantly impacted American culture and society in the last year.”
.......just to give you an idea.
STRAYKIDS & ATEEZ!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love all 3 groups, they're all so good. I'd prefer Ateez more because of their music but i love some of Skz's songs too especially topline and social path. Miss both groups interaction so much.
38:22 The fact that I know what video he’s talking about 😭
From stray kids I think he might prefer "Side Effects" He should react to it!
Thank for 💙S͓̽t͓̽r͓̽a͓̽y͓̽K͓̽i͓̽d͓̽s͓̽💙 reaction❤❤😊
It shows that God's menu is too much for him😂
dreamcatcher \:D/
Maybe try to get him to listen to wonderland and pirate king by ateez
Dreamcatcher 🤘🏻
Love your Def Leppard shirt!
Ay thanks! 🥰
EXO (Monster, Obsession, The Eve) 👑
Seventeen (HOT, Don't Wanna Cry, Clap) 💎
Stray Kids (Maniac, Thunderous, Venom) ❣
I am not big on gg but Dreamcatcher is really good. I prefer older SKZ songs, don't really like the new stuff.
For me ATEEZ is the only reason I started really listening to kpop. I was only a casual listener before and through them I started listening to Seventeen. They are my top 2 groups followed by SHINee and Xikers.
This was an awesome video. I love seeing new people react to kpop.
Thanks for the vid and have a beautiful day!!
🏴☠💜
Thank you for watching! ❤
Dreamcatcher are my ult atm, but the bgs I've found on this channel make a good challenger for that spot! 😅
We love internalized misogyny
@@ringadinga4782 What are you talking about?
@@ringadinga4782people can be boy group stans and that doesn’t mean they’re misogynistic. It’s a preference 🤦♀️
You can never win if you are a guy that predominantly stan ggs and a girl that predominantly stan bgs@@ringadinga4782
(G-idle) girl group has this song uh oh who is close to hiphop ❤😂
Non kpop Stans say the positive thing about ateez
That wasn't so much a reaction as it was a staring contest with the screen. For Trap music- Stray Kids"s Venom, Easy, Victory Song. Skz has 170+ songs , there is something for everyone. ATEEZ has Hala Hala, and Win off the top of my head. If your friend doesn't respond to these, then you should cut him out of your life! lol
I really recognize your accent, because it sounds really Swedish but I’m unsure if i’m right or if my mind is tricking me😂
Yes I'm Swedish, my accent really shines through on some words! 😂
@@LoReacts_ Svensk jag också!😂
Blir bara så rejält osäker gällande brytningar när det gäller nordiska länder då dom är lite lika

FELIX IS TRUE ANGEL BEAUTIFUL IS THE KING OF KPOP FELIX MY SEXY KING

@@S30NGJ1Nfor real. I'm a Stay and to see them come on EVERY. SINGLE. REACTION. VIDEO. and write the same stuff over and over and over again - it is pretty damn annoying. I love Felix and this ain't it. I think he'd agree.

FELIX DEEP VOICE IS THE KING OF K-POP 🔥👌
