You can edit the attribute points later, but I believe will cost a specific item to do so.
I recently put all my points into toughness....as a musket...and I've never got so many kills as a full agi musket. Having all that resistance ((plus all purple and legendary crafted armor and a musket with 3800 piercing dmg) makes it so I have the ability to survive most ults even if I'm at like 80% health. Highly underrated build.

I think most people just go with the agi build starting off and when they get into PvP or discover the power of the black powder grenade in siege battles they either split or go full str (like I did after a frustrating game of PvP with Five Shot and full agi) I tend to roam around with my musket in the light rogue armour since it is always devastating to crit headshot somebody.
For most heavy classes, hitting armor until you are around 950 per type and then slam rest into strenght should be good for a healthy combo of damage and survivability.
Depends, with Maul, Poleaxe and swords and shield you just go full armor, since maul and poleaxe already have high base and are slow, and swords just arent focused around dealing dmg anyway. Glaive is the only heavy weapon that is best with strenght points due to it's high dmg scalings, especially blunt and horse ones, and relatively fast combos with strong cc and dmg. it is pretty much pointless for the rest of heavy classes.
When comes to HP vs armor while playing with both for a short while i noticed i liked the bigger overall effective hp whilst being full armor on both nodachi and longsword in terms of surviving.
Heavy armor if you do not move too much, in the thick of fighting, using slow but powerful weapons, always get hit a lot by range units and range players, likes to stay in one place and defend, tanker. Light armor if you like to move around a lot, flanking and side fighting, hit and run, using light but fast weapons, likes agility and maneuverability, likes to keep moving and be in multiple places, assassin. Medium armor is halfway between Heavy armor and Light armor, balance, all rounded. Most important use your brain, strategy, tactical, plan your moves, plan your escape routes, feel the flow of battle.
My strategy is to compensate for what my hero does not have. For example, if you're too "squish" then a bit more armor and hp is not that bad while tanky units may use a bit more damage. Also for my longsword I simply distribute all points equally, it seems to work wonders.
Because it’s a difficult game to pick up and a difficult game to master. Evo spends a large amount of time on the game. Not everyone has that kind of time and it takes more to make and edit a good informative video.
My personal reason is that UA-cam does feel like a mess, coppa scares me and so does UA-cam as they are really inconsistent and change things on the fly. This is why I even deleted my videos that I had on this platform. Lots of people. including me stream on twitch. As I don't want to worry about getting fined for free content I make.

Nice vid Evo, just recently joined the game and started out as a longbow main, but I'm now leaning more towards the spear. But I like to switch between the two classes, so I've kept on my light armor for convenience sake. So my question to you is, is there any benefits to wearing a lighter armor than recommended? I've only found one thread where a guy believed that it allowed for more rolls, but can you confirm that? Also thanks for the great work, your videos really helps me alot! :)
@@Ol_White_Fatalis I've put 13 points into armorer, but also like to play a more nimble playstyle, so if I can roll more with light armor then I'll gladly make the tradeoff :) I seem to be able to hold my own just fine for now tho ^_^
@@Blue_Bue It's not worth at all im telling you, there is no point on wearing light armor with medium class. Carnifex gives you pretty much the same dmg, even a bit better base dmg actually, with double the defense. You are free to follow the advice or not if you want, but i have 1500 hours in this game, tested most classes with the spear being one of my 2 mains, and played against all of them thousands of times, so i know quite a bit about the game xD. So, final conclusion, no, it is not worth to play any medium/heavy class with light armor. Ask anyone experienced about it if you dont trust me 😆😆
@@Blue_Bue And it's also not worth to put any points into armor unless you are going to put half of them at least, and no light class wants to go armor since it wont matter, you are gonna be extremely squishy anyways, and most medium armor classes dont want any armor points either, with few exceptions. Only heavy classes can make proper use of armor, don't even think about it when playing a light one. That's how it goes.

There technically is no max level. I believe the highest level player on the NA server is level 3000 something. However, you really only need to be level 100 to be able to participate in all of the content in this game. After that, levels are only good for showing how experienced of a player you are.
I've never understood why people says that blunt damage ignores armor. I mean, how? And why is there an option as blunt armor penetration if the damage is ignored anyway??? It doesn't make sense
Generally the defense against blunt damage is pretty low across the board, meaning most you damage will not be mitigated if you do blunt damage against someone no matter the armour they wear Ignoring armour is a bit of an exaggeration but is short enough to be remembered and said all the time whenever the question arises. Thus blunt armour penetration is pretty useless since it doesn't really make sense to make a paper thin armour even thinner ... You are gonna get through it anyway.
It doesn't literally go through armor. It's just a balancing issue with the game where most players and units have very low blunt defense, which makes things like Maul extremely unbalanced.

With the mail as a hero weapon your attacks are very slow giving your opportunity plenty opportunity to counter or get out of the way Iron reapers (hero era heavy infantry with massive metal flails) are extremely slow and cost a lot of leadership so you could try to kite them around with ranged units to slowly kill them or ride them down with cab they cannot avoid since they are too sluggish to move out of the way The "most unbalanced" blunt damage unit right now are flamethrowers. They are devestating in attack and defense sieges, but are literally short-range class canons. Easily killed off by heroes that either sprint around a corner before they get lit up by the flamethrowers or ranged units with line of sight to them. Played well they can hold a position very well until their ammo is depleted
Most damage: Definitely Strength. Strength is JUST damage, damage, damage. As a longsword tho, I would recommend putting some points into armour as well.

This game is stupidly bad balanced, I've been using dual blades and its horrible, barely has AoE, very low melee range, ultimates are trash and the light armor has zero advantages, I often die by two skills. Almost every time stun dazed or on the ground and i cant do any of those. I wish they fixed the game bc i like the concept and the graphics although i play at shitty 30fps

Why would blunt damage ignore armor compared the other types of damage? Isn't that just dependant on the blunt armor penetration?

Think the only class that I 100% know has 1 build only, is the longbow. All other classes can have multiple builds.

You should craft a carnifex set for the lance, youre gonna be just too squishy with light armor on that weapon

You need to use and work with your units then it will be better, may not be the greatest but units do help.
