So to clear up some confusion, Nine Lashes actually is a Christian rock band. Don't flip out on me, I'm not saying this because of the bible verse, I'm saying this because I'm actually a big NL fan and have stuck by their music for years. They're christian but don't let it mess with their music too much. If anyone wants proof, go to the wiki or at least research them, you'll find everything you need there. Also, their music doesn't aim for just Christians, it's for anyone who wants to listen

I hate how people undermine Christians So hard and just assume All of them is gonna talk about how you should *GIVE YO LIFE TO JESUS* it gonna so bad that even Christians hate Christians. Not all Christians Rock Music gonna talk about Christian themes all the freaking time. Just cause they’re Christians doesn’t mean it gonna majorly affect their music into that Environment and I feel like Three Days Grace and Nine Lashes Represent that. I think we should not look on Religion so much and enjoy the context of the song. Like if y’all atheists and can make a banger song then I’m down with that, Same with Christians and I’m not saying that just because I’m also Christian

As an example Nine Lashes is really good. This song (The Intervention) doesn't include clearly words of God or Christ, but "Break the World" have clear line: "But I found the Christ. The Light in the sky." And another good example is Demon Hunter. "I will fail you" is good example. They sing about that how this murder reminds Christ of the crucifixion, even they don't say anything about Christian stuff in that song. Some people are there too on comments like "They are not sinning anything like that.." + One reason why I love Christian Rock bands as atheist is that they use other words for God and Christ too. I can interpret songs differently.
