When she said that, my heart broke. I don’t want to make assumptions, it seems as though she’s repeating things he has said to her such as “you shouldn’t make me so angry” etc, when it’s not her job to control his emotions and actions, he needs to keep himself in check. Again not wanting to make assumptions, but if it is a form of domestic abuse, from my third party experience on abuse, it seems like it’s a regular thing in their relationship, so much so that she may think it is normal/doesn’t see or understand the severity of it (because she’s so young)
I don’t like zoe but I feel like if she was abusive to Cody too (not saying that she was) she wouldn’t have said that. She wouldn’t have made it her fault and would have made herself a full victim.
