It's disheartening that even a 4-year-old understands the importance of condemning calls for genocide, yet the president of MIT does not. Failing to denounce such abhorrent rhetoric goes against the fundamental principles of humanity and justice. I was going to a hospital for treatments for my electrical burns and a back injury while wearing a PROUD AMERICAN WORKER tshirt with the USA flag on it and all. One of the nurses was crying when she saw me and I thought she was concerned about me and I said I would be ok. She shook her head and said no no it's this you don't understand and pulled at her shirt. Not long after that I was told by a dermatologist who was treating me for electrical burns that I should not have any pain and that I am just experiencing my white rage. It was enough to be in awful pain and frustrated and then to hear that? I earned those tshirts working in construction! Where was our health care!? What is going on this country that this is even up for debate? The hospital apologized to me for the discrimination and eventually found me doctors that seem to listen better.
I hope you filed a complaint with the state medical board against those bigoted hospital employees.
@@Renville80 I used to work summer jobs in high school sometimes with people just over the border and we all had USA shirts of some kind just happy to be earning a buck. I don't know what changed all these years later about the US flag being so offensive to some people. We let everyone in and we give everyone a chance again and again. All I know is they had me on the wrong treatment plan and if a doctor from Europe didn't take interest in my case and help me find the right treatment I might of died in the ER a while ago. To go from being told I should have no pain and it's just a skin issue to radiation treatments and cancer medicine is just unbelievable. It's redefined my life and I have done my best to adjust. All I can do is tell of my experience.
It would be interesting to find out what degrees the protesting students are working towards. I'm a mechanical engineer and can say I had no extra time to even think about protesting.
For all we know, they aren't actually students or if they are, they were admitted to do this very thing and this thing only. IDK, stranger things have happened.

I’ve heard many say this. Can you elaborate for me? I’ll be honest politics gives me a migraine and it’s like of web of information that I just can’t seem to understand how all the pieces fit because it just doesn’t click. I’m a hands on kind of person, political intrigue goes over my head. I need an American politics for dummies book. I also feel like when I think I get a grip on a subject there’s a million things out there that contradicts it. I just don’t know where to get reliable and honest info from. I vote for a president based on the current needs of the country but the history part and all its intricacies I can’t ever seem to learn.

Yeah she said sustained, pervasive, severe, or targets an "individual", which IMO is a weasel word which allows them to overlook targeting groups of people, like the students who had to be locked in the library for protection! They used a very specific set of criteria to defend, allow and ignore absolutely heinous actions. Criteria we know they don't use to determine violations related to other groups. "If speech becomes conduct" it's a violation. Well, allowing this type of angry, aggressive, abusive rhetoric and related mob actions to continue always escalates. So I guess if they wait long enough speech WILL become conduct and there's no going back from that. 😢😢 "Becoming conduct" means doing what they called for, which I didn't actually understand until it was explained.
So calling for it is okay, only doing it is a violation. 😮💨
