hello im a 56 year old male and really thinking about living in my toyota rav 4 ( 2018 ), thank you so much for this video, you have now a new subscriber, att manny , from savannah georgia, you’re awesome thank you for the tips and inspiration 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗👏👏👏
I am planning on taking a month long road trip from the east coast to the west coast. I want to save money by sleeping in my car. I have gone car camping at campgrounds but this will be different. Your videos really help me to plan the trip so Thank you! I was thinking I should do a few "dry runs" locally and this confirms that it is a good idea.
Even Walmarts with no overnight parking will most often let you overnight park. Just go in and ask the customer service. Almost every time they will permit you as long as they know and you ask them.
I think a good way to prepare for car-life or van-life is getting into rideshare. If you get into rideshare, you will spend a lot of time in your car. In Atlanta, Georgia, Lyft drivers have a section of the airport that they will wait for hours (sometimes sleep over night) for flights to come in. It's called the Rideshare assembly lot in Atlanta. I have seen people park their over night, cover up their windows and just wait for hours.
I just started 2 nights ago. Its a little scary at first. I need to improve my window coverings because I'm trying to be stealth. The other issue is working full time food delivering and jeeping car organized
Hello Travel, use some velgro for the windows and scout out your place before you finally stop for the night, You seem to do it right. I am only giving a idea not trying to control your thoughts. Get all your camping supplies as if you were going to camp in a tent. Adjust for your space and give it a go. Thanks for your post. Russ from Oregon.
Allison I really enjoy watching all of your videos on the you tube, hope to see more of your videos on the you tube, and you are a very pretty woman, the prettiest woman on the you tube, and you are my favorite person, and my best friend of all time on the you tube ❤️ you very much friend, enjoy the rest of your day, and be safe ❤️ and you are also a very attractive woman ❤️ good night Allison sweet dreams ❤️
I have a question. Do you think that bringing a YETI cooler for a road trip is worth the amount of space it takes up inside the car (or in my case an SUV)?
Ok you are really great at you tube. That being said how did you pick out your name? Also your sons' video of you watching IT trailer was hilarious. Your boys are very cute! I'm a new sub because you are super fun to watch 😊
Aw thanks! Also, WELCOME TO THE SNACK PACK!! 🎉 I'm surprised you found that video of us. Our 'family channel' wasn't very popular. lol 😆 I picked the name when I was traveling because I loved my travel snacks. And that is what my videos are usually about, traveling and eating. Thanks for watching!
I have a Planet Fitness membership and they all have showers. Not all of them are open right now but hopefully by the time my van conversion is done they will be. Thanks for watching!
Hi Allison, So I think 🤔 we have (u had) the same car or close. Kia Rio. Wish it was a hatchback. So your taller than me (5'3) and I have to curl up in th back seat. 🙃 I'm assuming you did the same. I'm watching so many (eventually all) of YOUR VIDEOS. Buying what I need then doing it. Only Im 64 single women. 🤪
I'm going to try not to comment on all your videos (unless that is helpful for you)! I'm trying to watch all your videos in chronological order. Is there any additional pre-planning (still in a home) advice that you would offer someone who is aspiring for this lifestyle? 🦢🩷⚓️

my biggest fear would be having some one bang on the window and wake me up out of a sound sleep at like 3 am in the morning .
That's happened to me twice now. (both times in Walmart parking lots) It sucks! But I've gotten a good sleep most nights.
@@travelsnacks Was it the police/security or a random person? Maybe you could do a storytime.
I am enjoying watching some of your orginal videos. You've come so far.
Glad you like them! Thanks!

Looking for a roomate/travel mate?
Did you ever make a video about stealth parking in residential neighborhoods?
Not yet, but it's on my list of future videos. ✅ It will be more difficult to be stealth in a van, but can still be done.
