Are you a parent? If so you would know that the influences over a person as they go through life extend far beyond the immediate family. Just look at who shaped you. If you are truly a product of your parents influence alone, then it would suggest an incredibly sheltered childhood.
So, this 20 year old who was supposed to be a math whiz in HS ( won a math cash prize) is not in college ⁉️ but serving meals in a senior residence ⁉️ I'm finding the situation strange.
Are you paying for his university education? Millions of high school graduates do not attend college ~40%, which makes it common, as opposed to strange.
Its one thing when a news reporter talks about guns being registered or not registered when this is simply not the case in most states but this dude is a lawyer, you would think a lawyer would know the laws or take the time to vet the information being provided before repeating it.
i thought gun registrations were destroyed ? So how was it traced . Because if you traced that gun by serial number and it was not reported stolen , THEN YOU ALL JUST ADMITTED TO SOMETHING ILLEGAL !
Why would they be concerned about their son? Other than they already knew he was mentally ill and never got him treatment. Sister's boyfriend is the one who reported this about him when he was back in high school and was known as "School-Shooter."
Everyone is focusing his lack of social media use as if it’s the only source of information. Books, magazines, tv news bias against Trump. No mention of his use of internet while he was at work. Did he frequent the local library? In this age of social media, cell phone footprints we need to stop and think of other information outlets.
People also use multiple devices and fake accounts and so on. He was perhaps involved in some edgy community on 4 chan, discord, reddit and so on, on another phone that he threw away before the shooting. It’s easy to hide if you want to hide.
It is not easy to hide. You could get a de-googled phone with limited functionality, but you'd have to a Snowden-level techie to hide from Google, Apple, and Meta. E.g., Google knows every device in proximity to your phone. You couldn't just use another phone, you'd have to store that phone away from your main phone.

My theory to why the parents was concerned and looking for him hours before this happened, I would imagine he left some kind of goodbye letter, or something stating that he was not coming home, just something random or odd, that may have alarmed them to be concerned about what is going on with him. I don’t imagine he would have blown his cover and told them exactly what he was doing, but it would’ve been enough to raise suspicious, just within the hours leading up to the shooting. That is what I think happened here, he may have left a goodbye, i love you note, then carried out his plan.
Since we keep seeing it constantly, I assume it's the one the parents released to the authorities. They may have wanted him to appear younger. Surely they have a more recent photo.

Republicans are a joke just like democrats. Both parties promote endless war and endless money printing and bailouts of Wall Street. Neither party really promotes any version of semi free markets when they promote bailing out Wall Street. Did you know the federalreserve is privately owned paying a 6%dividend to Wall Street? Parents called 911 same day saying they couldn't find their son? Sounds fishy..he is 20
They are hiding something
They couldn't find him because he was disguised as Bigfoot.
right if he is an adult why would you call 911 if they could not get in touch with him for only hours missing...unless he knew that he was going to the Trump rally and a weapon was missing.
His pickup was in the driveway, but they couldn't find him. What's fishy about? Is there an indication they knew that he rented the van? Your comment is fishy.
The father noticed that his gun was missing, not his son. He called to report the missing GUN. Perhaps he thought a stranger stole it.
Considering the fact that he is not a minor
- this story is a stretch.
The Parents called the Police for Crooks missing and Didn't notice their Gun was missing too ???
The parent knew something was up if they reported a 20 year old missing. The crazy thing is they are both professional counselors? What a failure of parenting and "counseling"
Jesse, dammit, you keep getting details wrong. It's been widely reported that the shooter bought his own ammo. He didn’t have any social media, so where would they get better pics?

Are you a parent? If so you would know that the influences over a person as they go through life extend far beyond the immediate family. Just look at who shaped you.
If you are truly a product of your parents influence alone, then it would suggest an incredibly sheltered childhood.

I don't understand. We've known since very early on that it was his dad's gun.
There is no gun registry in Pennsylvania, so the guns that were "registered" to the dad, is bs
But but republicans refuse any reforms.

Yeah, this is absolutely not true there’s record of his parents calling the police department with concerns about their son
Why would they be concerned about their son? Other than they already knew he was mentally ill and never got him treatment. Sister's boyfriend is the one who reported this about him when he was back in high school and was known as "School-Shooter."
Did the parents informed the police that the gun was missing???
But why did the parent call authorities fearing it may have been his son? Why is no one asking him about that?
They probably already knew because his son had weird behavior maybe even violent behavior but we may never know since they are hiding information

It is not easy to hide. You could get a de-googled phone with limited functionality, but you'd have to a Snowden-level techie to hide from Google, Apple, and Meta.

I think it's less about them trying to portray him as an actual child and more so the fact that he has no social media presence.
