It's all theatrics for the YT game, and much like with the actual black desert game you can comment and laugh at how someone else plays, but ultimately you don't worry about it too much.

its funny looking at some peoples gear, and looking back literally a months or 2 ago and before i managed to fix it and watching blues gearing guides, i used to have full set of IV blackstar armor (that i enhanced from duo) along with IV tungy earrings (which i also enhanced) and now 291/293/381, with disto instead of tungys and no blaktar armors at all xD. worked my ass off fixing it but if i sent blue my gear then, oh my gawd prolly would have had a heart attack

It is all a journey and picking perfect gear does not matter unless you are trying to be the best, or reach the end game quickly. If you are just playing the game to have fun, which is the main purpose on most, just go ahead and enhance blackstar if that makes you happy Don't forget, a game is to have fun and not add more layers of stress. I guess real life does a good enough job at that So keep in mind, blue critiques are with intend to help you, but also for the audience!! Great video though.
Btw he is absolutely correct about going pen tungrad instead of crescent. You get +4ap going from capo ear to tungread compared to +3ap foing from pen capo ring to crescent. He will eventually need to swap from pen tungrad to pen crescent once he got TET disto but that's not untill he got FGA and labreska anyway which is at least 50+hours away. If he go pen crescent now he's losing -2ap just for fun.

Yep, you are completely right. It is a pain, but that is where the "accomplishment" comes from. It's always nice to achieve something you worked hard for. For some, grinding silver to buy a piece of gear gives the same sense of pride, for some it doesn't. But in general, the more "do it yourself" something is, the more people sentimentally value something.
I am sure you would hate my gear. I just did what i felt like. I mostly grind on my seasonal (just finished the infinite HP pot). if your not aiming for greatness it does not really matter.

Weird thing, this guy seem to be getting further than most new players regardless of how much he angers the pros in this game. We need alot more guides for this game because any new player looking at this will laugh at the angry guy giving good advice but not know where to get more good advice other than wait for another analysis video. Its harder to earn money by semi afk, but i want to get to competitive PVP gear with as low effort as possible. And grind like maniac is not low effort at all.
My crystals are far worse. To be fair i am only lifeskill guy so only mobs i kill are from quests. Also when i put them there i didn´t have any other and good ones were brokem by so red guy near dessert Naga 🤣
went the BS armors way aswell actually.. allthough i like the enhancment system and always did. once a gambler always a gambler btw i got my pen bs armor third try no crons =) crons are too expensive
