I need to get out more! My town only has one thrift store and it only has a bunch of old lady clothes and not the cute kind. We only have one antique shop and it has TONS of antique clothing dating back to the '20s BUT since it's so old it's very expensive.
Thanks so much everyone for all your amazing comments on my first vid! Dropping back in to say I've got lots more in store so stay tuned ♡ (also feel free to leave any requests)
@@phungitla Hi! I don't really have a set aesthetic, so it's hard to say! I usually just look for vintage blouses with puff sleeves and my corset top is from the 2000s. My Pinterest is @nextwearer if you wanna look at my inspo boards
absolutely love what you said about this style trend essentially making fantasy available to all. i could talk forever about the implications and details about such an idea but i wont, but i will say that such a movement makes me love this style/aesthetic all the more!
I'm not super into fashion and stuff, but I was interested in this style and I thought that this video was super helpful and fun to watch! You just gained a new subscriber ♡
I have to say your voice is SO NICE to listen to!! I'm hypersensitive to sounds and the tone of your speaking voice is like a rare gem, soothing and not ear piercing lol your audio levels are mixed how my ears appreciate them lol thank you 🌸✨💖
@@halisroom you're SO welcome!!❤️And thank YOU‼️edit: & NOT TO MENTION that exactly ALL the information I was hoping to hear about, you laid out just PERFECTly for my hungry brain lol I'll be on the look out for your next videos! 🪷🌸🪷
unrelated to the topic of the video but you should turn your audio volume up, its really quiet and i had to turn my headphone volume all the way up to hear. other than that great video ! very informative and helpful
Literally as soon as I clicked on this video, I just KNEW I’d like your content. Your outfit is also super cute. I’m looking forward to more content from you 😊
Loved this video. you got straight to the point and added visual aids which i lurve + i luved how you put the outfits together at the end. i know this sounds like a review u didn’t ask for but i have a terrible attention span but love fashion videos and this was perff for my attention span!! keep up the good work!! subscribed
Obsessed with this review I didn’t ask for don’t worry! Thank you so much 🤍 I’ve got two more videos in the works with the same energy. Thanks for sticking around!
I just stumbled cross this vid and have to say ur channel is so underrated, your explanations and analysis are bomb and i LOVE your styling, it was so helpful!
This was so informative and entertaining to watch, I really like how you also showed some examples of the style and some pictures while you're speaking. New subscriber here ^.^
I believe this vid is mostly about fairy grunge, I imagine fairycore as a more ethereal version of cottagecore or the OG barbie fairies kind of vibes with pinks and pastels, all the pretty things and tons of glitters whereas fairy grunge on the other hand plays with earthy tones and grunge-y best description of this aesthetic I've come across is "ethereal, almost ghostly".
Fairycore has different themes, it all falls under the same umbrella though. Some people do water fairies with lots of blue and shells, others do wood fairies in dark green and brown with mushroom or toad motifs, some do flower fairies with pink and glitter, others do dark fairies with lots of black and spooky accessories. But the actual base look is the same, just different colors.
hey u! i want to write a paper on fairy core and its political background and just wanted to let you know this is super useful and thank you for making this :) will be quoting u. have a great day!
I can only afford these type of clothes from alliexpress which is the total opposite of this movement :((( but i dont have any thrift stores in my country and the ones theyh have are stealed clothes so :/ Anyways great vid bestie :DD
yes but the versatility and wear you'll get out of them will help you prevent over consumption :) also you can diy any items you already own to get more use out of them
Soft grunge dosen't make any sense because it is totally materialistic which is the opposite of actually grunge, just speaks to how companies eat up a real movement and spit out a hollow shell to sell
So all fashion comes from the USA? Nope sorry! And I was in the USA in the 90s during the grunge movement. The style was basically poor kids that were also very intolerant towards others. Was not really something you wanted to look like. But that was years ago, history gets re evented.
learning the names of these outfit pieces is such a game changer :000

I love that you explain how it came to be and not only the fashion itself. Hope this channel gets a bit more recognition .
Thank you so much!!

Hello, what would you call the "aesthetic" of clothing that you are wearing in this video?
