I've seen (never tried) making a frame and covering with chicken wire. Then, place over growing seedlings. It's supposed to keep them from pulling out the roots. If you try please make a video on how well it works 😊
Yes! It works well. At the end of the video I show our homemade chicken “garden box” with the grass growing for them. I really like that they can’t get to the whole plant and pull it up.
Nutrena country feeds premium race horse feed. L&mM fleet or prob anywhere is cheaper than tractor supply and not producers pride brand. Which was thought to stop hens laying in recent years. It is the same thing, literally just whole oats. Save urself $5 and possibly more herbicide content in PP.
