Thanks for pointing out the different ways of earning Simoleons, whether your actively playing or not. Without deeply looking into it. It seems doughnuts are king until one can make burgers. Here's a few ideas I have used. maybe not the best, but good for some quick Simoleons: Purchase items that aren't selling for maximum price, and then resell then for maximum. Purchase items that are used in higher priced items, that way you aren't using so much time in making higher end items. Collect those item bubbles. I cant visit 4-5 cities in a 30 second sales cycles, what I do is click on a city an if I see an opinion bubble on the way in, while the game focuses on the other players trade depot, then I will pop it. Otherwise I go right back into the Global Trade building. Sometimes you get a Key, a few hundred Simoleons. or a special item like a compass or a phone box you can easily sell for 1500-2000 Simoleons, Finally, sell those collectible items, the one you need to expand land/storage or upgrade a French or British building. It seems to me, the less you have of the land or storage expansion items you have, the more often you get them.
+GreenAppelPie - Thanks for sharing your tips Mayor, some good stuff in there! I wish I could get 4-5 Cities per sales cycle, I've never managed more than 3 :(
What i hate is that the only money methods are like $10k a day maybe for buildings that cost like $50k+ and you need them NOW because people are leaving your city.
Ritny... 3 years later.... they don’t leave cause of parks. Only if power or water etc. Anyway don’t matter if they leave makes no difference.only means you will get less tax. And you probably don’t play the game anymore. So if you wanna bang holla x
+Batman Magic - Camp your City at Level 8 for a bit then! Try making Planks, Measuring Tapes and Vegetables constantly to sell on the Global Trade HQ. Once you have enough Simoleons saved up - go ahead and level up your city when you are ready to!
+Diego Soruco - That would be great, but City names aren't unique in SimCity BuildIt, just your Player ID. I agree though, it would be great if you could visit more cities more easily! SimCity BuildIt is marketed as a social game, but there is almost zero social interaction inside the game itself, for that you have to turn to Facebook, Google+ or Gamecenter :(
The video was good and helped! Tho some advice to people who are bankrupt: before you do anything with ur money, plan for what will happen next. E.g. You're buying parks to make ur city happy and ur down to 1000 SM. You then reach level 12 and unlock a police station. You see that you're out of money and then screwed! So just plan ahead so that you don't get in horrific situation.
Thanks for a very nice video. At first I was frustrated when I realized how much real $$ I have to spend on this game, but then I decided to slow down and planned ahead, just like you mentioned in your video; I would pre-load the time consuming items twice daily and tried stick to my plan. Now I mass produce trees ( my own seeds and shovels), buns ( my own ingredients), hamburger patties ( I buy animal feed 100%) , tables ( my own planks, nails and hammers ), watches (my own plastic and I buy chemicals at 50%, I buy glass 100%) , burgers ( my meat, buns and I buy 50% of my grills ) and refrigerators ( I buy 100% of electronics , 50% of chemicals and supply my own plastic). Everything else I buy at the marketplace. I think we should divide our resources and start selling more components instead of the finished products. Everyday I put on the market 5-10 trees, tables, watches and burgers. SILVERTON CO is my town. Unfortunately I don't have Facebook. Good luck and have fun.
+mar1video - Thank you for a very nice comment! That's a useful strategy to hear about too - it's interesting seeing how different Mayors have different solutions to fit their playing schedule! Thanks for sharing yours :)
+mar1video You actually do not have to spend ANY real money on the game. This is one of those games where in time you can do everything without spending any money. EA keeps giving you sim cash as you play the game, which surprises me since it is EA. lol Of course it does help make things go faster if you spend real money, and it helps the developers (who would shut the game down if it was not financially worthwhile), but it is not necessary. I second the part about selling raw materials. I do sell low-level finished products since I am purposefully staying at a low level, but while those products are being manufactured I also sell components. Although I have 16 trade slots available, when I am selling wood, metal, plastic, and seeds I am not able to keep up with demand. My GTHQ slots are emptied faster than I can fill them. It is not as profitable per item when selling components, but I can sell a lot more of them. I had around 3,000 simoleons left earlier today after buying the airport but kept selling stuff (mostly components) until I had 43k for a deluxe fire station. It is easier than most realize to make simoleons. It just takes patience, which not everyone has. Ugh... why can I not use apostrophes? They're converted into their HTML-encoded equivalents.
Have only been playing this version of Sim City about a week. Am level 15 with a pop. of 70,000. Started checking out your videos on the game and they are by far the best. Thank you so much!!
+Lynn Sirrine - Awww, that's very kind, thank you! :) Thanks for sharing your City story too Mayor, I wish you luck as you expand and build. If there is anything you'd like to see me make a specific tips and tricks video on, do let me know - I'm always open to new video ideas :)
First, I want to congrats you for that great explanation. I am a 1 675 000 city playing since the beta Canadian version and I still learned some stuff. I already sell nails because I have enough active times to product at least 20 per day (sometimes up to 50). My favorite strategy is to sell TV, light bulb, fridge and charcoal from my passive time. I generally manage to make between 50 000 and 100 000 per day. Income give me around 27 000 through that.
+Georges Dumais - Thank you! I'm glad it is was useful :) Yours is a handy strategy too, thanks for sharing it - sounds like you have your active and passive playing time all figured out!
+All Your Blocks Yes it was, but with the last (and greatest) update, it disturbed a great part of my strategy. My earliest observation in that game is always "how they are trying to bring me to purchase something?" Now I think it's better to prepare a strategic stack in the warehouse in order to get epic tier 3 tower despite of a 8h cold down. In fact, you may need up to 2 days "cold down between 2 project.
+Georges Dumais - Interesting observation, I tend to go with a "how can I be most efficient?" approach because it feels more positive! I guess we might get similar results though, preparing items in advance for the sales tasks to complete Epic Projects definitely feels like the way to tackle that new mechanic. It's a 12 hour cooldown between projects. Hope that helps you out! :)
I keep running out of money spent since the contest started I have to keep buying items to fulfil the tasks for shipments deliveries etc but was worth it won four time and came second or third that given me 2000 simcash
Great vid, but here's my thought about making simoleons. The key factor is keeping ur commercial store running. And calculate the added value to the products. For example, u mentioned in the vid that making flour bag is 19$/min, while I see it as 11$/min. the flour bag require 2 Seeds(2*30=60)+2 Textiles(2*90=180). So in the end running Farmers Market for 30 min, u add 570-(60+180)=330 to seeds and textiles. that means by making flour bag, running the farmers market give u 11$/min, it doesn't matter either u make seeds and textiles in ur own factory or you buy them in the trade HQ. Making donuts give u 6$/min, bricks 5.5, and cement is 6.
I've had a resurgence of interest in this game lately and completely demolised everything in my lvl 30 city to restructure it :) My strategy has been to just buy things I need so I'm always low on storage. Cash hasn't been a problem until now when building new houses is just not possible anymore XD What I tend to sell are items that sell really quickly such as Cement, Flour since I noticed that when I sell high-value items like burgers and doughnuts, they never get bought :(
HI!!! im level 17 and so far ive been very poor, i spent all my city cash and it's hard to gain my citizens are at 31% happiness cause i don't have enough money to buy services like hospitals and police stations, this video was very useful and i will try to do this Thanks!!!!
+Mateo Ceballos - Oh no, your Sims do sound unhappy! I'm glad my video helped you out though :) Make sure you grow and expand more slowly and I'm sure your Sims will be happy again soon now you're on the right track again. Good luck - let me know how you get on!
Set up your 10 factories with 1x metal, 1x wood, 1x plastic, 2x seeds, 3x textiles, 1x chemicals, 1x glass. In shops make Flour, hammers, measuring tape, paint (buy minerals), nails, planks. Final products to sell = Donuts (buy sugar/spice), Hats, Watches, lawn Mowers, Chairs, tables. Buying minerals and sugar/spice is easier than waiting for them. They are not hard to find either. Look for them in the WTHQ while waiting. The cost is minimal compared to what you get back. I always have enough simoleans.
I always try to sell glue, because it is easy to make and is worth 440 simoleons per item. Creating shovels is important if you want to sell grass or tree saplings at the gardening supplies.
Lvl 49 now was lvl 33 when the CoM started and when it said upgrade residential zones I did not realised it was the sims home and tried to get land and after 2 days I failed the task. But I then ask in the forums what are they and found out when one posted a screen shot of it and I felt a bit of a fool not to know that. I posted a blushing motion smiley this 😊
Good afternoon for you, mayor @All Your Blocks! I'm not confident you remember me, (I last sent you a message 2+ years ago), but I do find these tips VERY helpful! So thank you! Okay, hopefully this will ring a bell. You was progressing along at level 23 when this new mayor comes along called Zacho. He owned Zach's Hills, population 165,000. He was the one who complimented your videos, and said sorry more times than anyone else. Remember him? Alright, I got into a mess involving my tablet, and I couldn't get back. *Did not sign my city into an account! :( So I lost it.* Well, I spent time building a new city Zachoville, but I haven't been able to do UA-cam. Well, I'm back! Well, did you know that I made it all the way to 543,343 Sims and 1.15 million simoleons? The simoleons part was because of your advice! Honestly, I would like you to keep the good work going! Have a splendid afternoon!
I currently have about 3,300,000 simoleons in game. I made most of that by doing this and trading on the global trade hq, sometimes ppl will sell high value items at a cut price to attract buyers, so when i dont need them, i buy them at the low price and sell them at their maximum price, i can get them all sold by the end of the day
+Jemini Occam - If you want to, you can follow my Page over at facebook.com/allyourblocks - but I don't think that works as an 'in-game friend' anymore. It used to be a Profile but got changed recently, and Facebook lost all my connections!
Ahh! Too bad! Am following you already. Any way you can reconnect your city w/Facebook? I would prefer to friend mayors I "know" already via r/scbuildit
+Jemini Occam - I tried and have had no response from Facebook, but I suspect the answer is no. I doubt they will ever get back to me - I'm still waiting for a reply to a question I sent 6 months ago about how Profiles and Pages interact ;)
I started yesterday and I'm at level 10. I'm beginning to hit that beginners plateau when you start to realize that freebies and quick money isn't coming in as fast as when you started at level 2. When I first opened the app, I swore it was easy, now I'm like: yup, this is gonna take months to advance. Lol!
+passthelimejuice - Yeh, you might like to camp at Level 10 and focus on unlocking all your Land Expansions and maximising your City Storage. Maybe get a Feeder City to help with that so you can level up your main City. I've got a video on Feeder Cities that might help you out here; ua-cam.com/video/U2h3V9AOuhE/v-deo.html
Hello! Thanks for the video. :) You must keep all your factories and commercial busy all the time. If you don't, you a literally loosing money. When I play this game, I usually play for a few hours, so I keep making nails, hammers and cream in the background while I trade in the global - I look for items that are being sold for the default price and sell them for full price. For example, a light bulb is worth 1060, but there are many light bulbs in the market being sold for 667. A chair is worth 300, there are many chairs being sold for 225. Burgers - 3600 vs 2700. Keep in ming that expensive items sell slow so you might end up with no space in your depot. Don't make huge stacks or you'll have to wait until Daniel buys them. :D When in Global, don't just browse the front page, keep jumping from depot to depot as quick as possible looking for stuff you want/need. Prioritize depots where the prices are not maxed out. If one item is cheap there is a very big chance that there are more cheap items in that depo. You will always have everything - simoleons, dozers, storage expansions, beach, mountain, vu... Another thing you can do is scroll around every city you visit and collect the gift. And of course, keep selling your production. Oh, you only have to advertise items which are harder to sell - other ones (expansion parts for example, nails, breadrolls, garden chairs, corn, watches, ladders, coffee, backpacks etc) will be snatched by the visitors. The most I have made in a day I think was around 250k. I expanded my land 2 times that day, storage - 3 times (bought all the expansions items in the global), bought 2 big hospitals, 1 big police and 1 big fire station, and I was left with more than 100k. Other days are slower with only 100k a day profit. Depends. You need to put time into it, but you are earning money while you are away. I leave a full depot worth of at least a hundred thousand simoleons and collect it all in the morning. Such satisfaction :D and finding cheap items feels like christmas. If you have any questions - ask. Happy gaming :D
Thx for the tip And also I watched the video of yours where you reveiw the mountain update and I have an iPad mini and it sometimes crashes as well Just notifying you in case your wondering if it's just your ipad
+Clash Gamer - You're welcome! Thanks also for the heads-up about your device. I did contact EA Support about it and apparently there was some issue with the last update not running properly on some earlier iOS devices. I'm using a 1st generation iPad Mini which is pretty much the rock bottom specification you can run the game on these days. Hopefully we'll see a fix next update, thankfully I have got it working on my old iPhone in the meantime! :)
of course keeping your Sims happy is your priority, and I choose the way where I focus on clean green technology pollution free,is coat tons of simolets but is worth it...
Great video. I do love this game but I must be honest, I wish it was just a little bit faster. The idea of it taking almost a year in real time to make a mill is a bit off putting to me.
you should upload a video of the layout of where to put things in your city. I like what you said about maximising your profits based on how much you play and I already knew what you told me but my problem is maximising city space. I recently found a city that was constructed like yours(the roads) and it looked like it worked for that mayor and now I see yours is the same way, I like the idea I just don't like the thought of reorganizing my entire city from scratch lol but I also agree with another comentor who said that if your going to be actively playing for several hours, to make metal and wood and sell it, you will make simoleans quicker, but you also neglect the products certain higher end items need if you're making those at the same time. like seeds, minerals, and chemicals
+dashiznik13 - Thanks for your comments and tips, useful to see! I've started talking about my City layout a bit more in recent episodes of my Let's Play series, here; ua-cam.com/video/oJIjF8hlog4/v-deo.html - or if you'd like to watch it right from the start, it's here; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc_d7TkUvNnDEKl55DfBz0IS.html
I'm just starting so I have no money 💰 on my game. By watching this video I'm gonna try to sell stuff the way you showed on the video I hope it won't take too long: )
I got a city thats well over 650.000 sims, at level 39, named "Antina". Im an Architect so I did put some talent into it i guess... I have made so much money by using the system you talked about, it really works good. The only problem i constatly get frustrated about is land growth, and getting the spetial ítems you need to unlock them, I hate that....
+Diego Soruco - Sounds awesome! :) Have you got any images of nicely designed areas in your City? I'd love to see some! Agree with you about land expansions, they are quite a slow grind :(
+All Your Blocks how would I upload the images?, maybe I should do a clip and uploaded, but don´t know how to record a video of what i do in my cell phone
Diego Soruco That depends on what device you're using. On iOS you can just press the Home and Power button at the same time to take a screenshot - and then just stick that on imgur or other hosting site! If that doesn't help, you'll have to search for info or read your phone's manual I guess. Good luck Mayor!
+All Your Blocks taking the picture is easy, I meant to say how would I show it here, no image upload available in UA-cam coments. Thanks for the help tough
Diego Soruco - Ah, sorry if I wasn't clear! I was suggesting that you take a screenshot, then upload it for free to imgur.com - and then post a link to it here in a Comment. Alternatively you can Tweet it at me via @AllYourBlocks- hope that sorts you out :)
You forgot to say how the cheaper the item sells for the faster it is made, so if you are someone who goes on 4+ times a day you might be making twice as much if you went with the cheaper items. Another good way to make money I noticed while playing is going on the global market and buying items you don't want to make to make better items then selling iron while you make those higher tier items, then before you go to sleep or whatever, you put on a longer time item. Steel has the highest $/min. The longer it takes the less money you get IF you are playing longer, otherwise you want longer processing items.
+Mortamay MortAmos - Thanks for your comment. I deliberately provided just 2 simple examples so that people could follow the process and and work out what their best personal setup is if they play more frequently! You make some really good additional points though - if you have space and time to buy lower tier items and make them into higher tier items, it's free Simoleons! :)
sir by collecting tax for example in mine i it says i will got 12k in 24 hrs ? if i dont collect it in 2 days it will be double ? 24k like that ? pls let me know thanks :)
+Dale Labrador - No it won't. Once you reach the daily figure it stays there until you collect it. Daily play is a good idea to generate a consistent stream of Simoleons!
***** - I'm good, thanks! I'm livestreaming the new update several times this week, check out my Event page for more information; ua-cam.com/video/VLYpJoJyCio/v-deo.html
+Nicholas Ter Berg - There is no hard and fast rule for this. It depends what you are trying to achieve! If you're thinking about playing the game efficiently though, then perhaps you should try to get as much population as you can at each level before you progress?! That way you will earn lots of additional Simoleons in Taxes, so long as you also keep your Sims' Happiness levels above the magic 90% :)
love the video! I'm almost to level 28. I've been making bread as often as I can, but I'm not sure this is the fastest way. I do not have all of the blocks unlocked for production. I think about 5 are open. Anyway, thank you for the video!
+Paul Alstrand - Thank you! :) Using trial and error to get the best production schedule for how you play can be a great way to find out what works best for you - it might be Bread, it might not be! ...of course, you'll need all your blocks unlocked in the long run... yes, I saw what you did there, hehe :)
Hello that was a good video! But...it didn't help me out so much... because i am a beginner. And we want to see a video for beginners to get simoleons. Thank you +All Your Blocks
+Simo 2037 - Cool, thank you for your feedback! You can use this strategy though when you're completely new to the game, or as an advanced player. You just have to decide how best to spend your time to earn Simoleons based on the products you can make at your current level. I have started producing some shorter 'Tip' videos as well as these longer 'Masterclass' ones - so you might like to subscribe to my channel and look out for those, if that's the kind of video you would prefer?! Check out the playlist here that I am adding to; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc8Ryb2XXTaaAyvfZ7tZ5Kzu.html - I hope that helps :)
+Simo 2037 Depending on where you are at the beginning level, you can make and sell vegetables, planks and measuring tapes for some quick cash. When I was beginning (and before I found All Your Blocks), I was making and selling steel. This earned me enough money early on. Now I'm making and selling donuts.
Thank you so much for this video I started trading and Im getting more simoleons, but I made a huge mistake I bulldozed all my city including streets, firestation, clinics etc etc and my city was happy 99% but then I did that and got 100k more, so I bought a deluxe firestation and police station, but it was missing everything else, I was about to delete it which I did but then because my account is connected I keep playing and now im 10% which is sad and im desperate to get more simoleons and make my city happy so thank you Ill start producting more. Im at level 23.
+Alyssa Morales - You're welcome! If you need tips on anything else, let me know as I'm making a whole series of these SimCity BuildIt Masterclass videos here; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc8Ryb2XXTaaAyvfZ7tZ5Kzu.html
Thank you...my city has 125,000 and I'm at level 30. I never have enough money.... :). Separate question: do cargo shipment ever gain you more than one golden key?. Good video.
i use buldoze method..running a lvl 34 city in 6 days...i place building, upgrade it by buying items from world hq, upgrade it, and wait for the building to be abandoned and buldoz it
+Thomas Pitman - Congrats - keep it up! You could also check out my 5 Essential Trading Tips video ua-cam.com/video/_1gfYUol_Tk/v-deo.html - but remember that some of the tips and tricks in it are older now and less effective. Just think about how best to use the ones that still work well :)
Did you ever have a point where it seemed like you were stuck and you were drained for cash? I'm at a time where I'm really short on it because of how many firestations and other utilities I need.
+Awesome Dude - Yes, definitely! In the earlier levels particularly, it can be difficult to find the right timing and balance between levelling up and generating enough Simoleons to support expansion. The best advice I can offer at the moment is to check out my playthrough series from the start to see how I handle those crunch points at different levels as they arise; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc_d7TkUvNnDEKl55DfBz0IS.html
Hey Blocks I have a quick question: in your example towards the end you have 11 bricks and tape measures, however these shops would need to be used to make critical path items for the beach chairs and caps. Are you assuming that those critical path items (wood planks and tape measures) would be made in a feeder city? Thanks!
+Chris Herberg - I'm not assuming they would be made in a Feeder City, but of course this is possible. It was more intended as a loose example of what is achievable if people think outside the box, like you have here! I still think the key is for each player to find what works best for them and their active and passive playing time! Hope that helps a little ;)
+Tang Daneil - That's very kind, thank you :) Please feel free to let me know anything else you like about my videos too - because that will help me improve even more!
Also, put beach and mountain items as close to homes as possible to increase population and therefore collecting more taxes. I get around 29 000 in taxes per day. I also have more keys than I know what to do with. I think I’m around 2000. Best way is to get keys is from disaster challenges.
I watched it blocks and as soon as I saw the start intro, that's my problem. I have too much xp and not enough money to handle it. I have too many residential areas, I would knock them down but then my population will go down and I won't be able to build the trade depot. What should I do blocks?
+Thomas Pitman - I suggest you watch my playthrough series for general tips and tricks on how to progress at a sensible pace in SimCity BuildIt, those videos are here; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc_d7TkUvNnDEKl55DfBz0IS.html - also keep an eye on my specific tips and tricks playlist as I have a ton of new content coming in the next month or so, that's here; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc8Ryb2XXTaaAyvfZ7tZ5Kzu.html - good luck Mayor!
my simcity lvl 41 already...I can make 10-25k simolets a day...by produce higher value products and sell unwanted stuff...also if I got extra stuff from shipment I sell it if I'm no needed...
I have another question which is how you can logout on an Android device without deleting the cache for the game? If I could just do that I could access my feeder city however I wanted but I can't. I need to reset the game every time if I want to login and out which is a little obnoxious.
It is my understanding that the SCBI app cache can only be erased/deleted thru the Android tablet settings>Apps>SCBI>erase cache. It is an unfortunate & annoying feature of the app that anytime one switches screens, when returning to SCBI, the game must reboot. The same is true whether you have just one user acct with one city, or multiple user accts with corresponding cities. I agree, it can be most aggravating!
+Gyruskeem Gyruskeem - Check out my video on Feeder Cities and one way you can accelerate the growth of your City Storage! ua-cam.com/video/U2h3V9AOuhE/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for sharing this information! How about the sim cash, what will be the best strategy to get it other than getting it from from City Achievements?
+Joseph Esporlas - Complete Quests when you get them, and also consider grinding the Video Adverts if you're lucky enough to be randomly selected to see one in game!
Ok I got the trade depot. Now I am 14 xp away from level 9, I am not going to upgrade anything else because that's what you said on the link you told me to watch. Should I sit at my level and use the trade depot to get about 30k simolians or just go to level 9?
+Thomas Pitman - If I was playing your City I would camp it at Level 8 and upgrade my City Storage as much as possible (or until I got bored of grinding) before progressing to Level 10 and then unlocking as many of the Land Expansions as you feel like doing. Good luck Mayor!
Please help, I am lvl 8, I am always finding that I only have 3000 semolians and the the next problem happens, this time it is sewage. Pls do u have any tips or anything to help me keep enough money to pay for these problems
I am trying to get my population to 8000 but I don't know how, if I get that many I can sell items for money which will be good, pls tell me how to get citizens fast
+Thomas Pitman - I suggest you re-watch this video to make sure you understand the concepts of how to make Simoleons when you need to. You might also benefit from taking a look through my playthrough series from the start. It has tons of useful tips and guidance along the way! You can find that here; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc_d7TkUvNnDEKl55DfBz0IS.html - good luck with your City! :)
Hi. I've been playing this game for a year on 1 device (Samsung Tab S) and now I want to play it on 2 devices (the Tab S and my phone). It's my understanding that I need to install Simcity on my phone and then from that install, sign into my Google backed up game. The thing is im worried that I might end up overwriting my years worth of backed up game play with a fresh game. Is that a possibility? How do I go about doing this correctly? Thanks
not sure if a bug on my end or not but for some reason the trade depot only allows me to trade 5 items at a time now and not 10. is there something that i am missing?
+Kal1bur_G - It got changed. It used to be 10, right now it's 5. I think I covered it in of the later episodes of my Let's Play series; ua-cam.com/play/PLRLAsOhDeBc_d7TkUvNnDEKl55DfBz0IS.html
I found a weird thing. I played simcity, and it had shades of buildings like at 9:19 in this video and also traffic lights. Then i uninstalled simcity and i didn't play for like 6 months (or less or more) And then i installed it again and there isn't any shades or traffic light. I use the same device! How is that possible ?
+Tom Varga - On game first launch and after every new update, SimCity BuildIt does an 'optimisation check' to see what your device can handle so you get a smooth game experience. The software then makes a decision about whether your phone or tablet can cope with seeing all the different graphical features like zoom level, snow on the mountains, traffic lights, etc. It sounds like that has affected you - maybe it will change again in future!
Quick tip : instead of upgrading roads (which costs simoleans ) just demolish it and rebuild it and it is free
Does it work?
Salvador Escamilla yes try it !!
Bro but u can only build a two lane road not a 4 lane road!
Works but irritating as you’re constantly doing that
Done this a lot of times
Thanks for pointing out the different ways of earning Simoleons, whether your actively playing or not. Without deeply looking into it. It seems doughnuts are king until one can make burgers. Here's a few ideas I have used. maybe not the best, but good for some quick Simoleons:
Purchase items that aren't selling for maximum price, and then resell then for maximum.
Sometimes you get a Key, a few hundred Simoleons. or a special item like a compass or a phone box you can easily sell for 1500-2000 Simoleons,
Finally, sell those collectible items, the one you need to expand land/storage or upgrade a French or British building. It seems to me, the less you have of the land or storage expansion items you have, the more often you get them.
+GreenAppelPie - Thanks for sharing your tips Mayor, some good stuff in there! I wish I could get 4-5 Cities per sales cycle, I've never managed more than 3 :(
this comment is gold
What i hate is that the only money methods are like $10k a day maybe for buildings that cost like $50k+ and you need them NOW because people are leaving your city.
Zachary McArthur I hate how every thing going is perfectly fine till the Sims want a park closer to them and you can bearly afford it so they leave.
Ritny excatly
Yup :/
They will come back tho once the problems are fixed, so it's all good.
Ritny... 3 years later.... they don’t leave cause of parks. Only if power or water etc. Anyway don’t matter if they leave makes no difference.only means you will get less tax. And you probably don’t play the game anymore. So if you wanna bang holla x
I am level 8 and my city is screwed , I have no money to build sewages.:(
+Batman Magic - Camp your City at Level 8 for a bit then! Try making Planks, Measuring Tapes and Vegetables constantly to sell on the Global Trade HQ. Once you have enough Simoleons saved up - go ahead and level up your city when you are ready to!
@@AllYourBlocks How do you camp?
Dylan King Stop upgrading your residental buildings and start making stuff you can sell on the global market.. ;)
@@kristoferolsson89 owh OK thanks :)
I saved up 12000 coins and then I made a basic sewage center. It’s a lot more efficient.

there should be a way to visit any city just by knowing its name, after all this could be a social game, in real time, no need for boundaries
Thank you! And thanks for sharing your tip too, nice one :)

@@Applelow13 Do you still play SimCity Buildit ?
I keep running out of money spent since the contest started I have to keep buying items to fulfil the tasks for shipments deliveries etc but was worth it won four time and came second or third that given me 2000 simcash
+Ann Deery - Nice results Mayor! Congratulations :)
I remember you
Great vid, but here's my thought about making simoleons.
I've had a resurgence of interest in this game lately and completely demolised everything in my lvl 30 city to restructure it :)
My strategy has been to just buy things I need so I'm always low on storage. Cash hasn't been a problem until now when building new houses is just not possible anymore XD
What I tend to sell are items that sell really quickly such as Cement, Flour since I noticed that when I sell high-value items like burgers and doughnuts, they never get bought :(
+Kuya Leinad - Cool :) Welcome back to the game! Thanks for sharing your tips and ideas :)
The best SimCity explaining video ever!
I'm making money from producing huge amount of donuts.
+Tom Varga - Thanks! Good luck with your City!
HI!!!
im level 17 and so far ive been very poor, i spent all my city cash and it's hard to gain
my citizens are at 31% happiness cause i don't have enough money to buy services like hospitals and police stations,
this video was very useful and i will try to do this
Thanks!!!!
+JabberCT - Interesting tip, thanks for sharing it :)

Upgrading residents until they are maxed and then delete it. Repeat. Sometimes I sell stuff on the trade HQ.
What is your username for simcity build it
I always try to sell glue, because it is easy to make and is worth 440 simoleons per item. Creating shovels is important if you want to sell grass or tree saplings at the gardening supplies.

This really helped me cause I'm only at level 15 and I have lots if problems this really helped )
I currently have about 3,300,000 simoleons in game. I made most of that by doing this and trading on the global trade hq, sometimes ppl will sell high value items at a cut price to attract buyers, so when i dont need them, i buy them at the low price and sell them at their maximum price, i can get them all sold by the end of the day
Dude, this helped me a whole lot. I made my first 100k not even saving in like two weeks

You better save the progress into Google Play games and Facebook. You can get it back after reinstall the game.
gosh! it worked! great thanks to All Your Blocks. this was SUPER helpful
Hello! Thanks for the video. :)
You must keep all your factories and commercial busy all the time.
+Niekas Visagalis - Handy tips Mayor, thank you for sharing them! :)

So how'd it go?
I haven’t tried but I’m gonna listen!
This helped a lot thanks
Superb tips.... let me try
Thanks! I hope they helped you out :)
Your city is really nice and organice👍👍

I was really wondering what a good level to population ratio is for 120 000 population? Thanks.
Level 21 or 20
+Nicholas Ter Berg - There is no hard and fast rule for this.
+All Your Blocks Thank you so much! you just earned a subscriber! Pleqse keep on like that ! ;)
+Simo 2037 Depending on where you are at the beginning level, you can make and sell vegetables, planks and measuring tapes for some quick cash.
Same :\
I discovered the date I downloaded this game on my Ipad was 23 Dec 2014 2 days before Xmas in the App store wow
I'm going to try and make more production slots I'm going to make a feeder city just like you did and earn my million money's! :D
+Car Racer - Awesome! Good luck Mayor :)
Thanks! +All Your Blocks
Hope that helps a little ;)
So i the cash i have is will be used to open the slot of the production?
thanks bro really help allot
If you produce chairs & sell 5 of them on the market you will earn 1500 (max).
I have over 7M simoleans with no cheat. The best way to get it is to do specific item collection. Burger collection usually gets around 90 000 or so.
This really helped me!
+Lucas Macdonald - Cool, thanks for letting me know :)
Great video!! I LOVE IT
+Go for Dustin - Thank you :)
You are PROFESSIONAL!! I will be one of your subscriber :)
+Tang Daneil - That's very kind, thank you :) Please feel free to let me know anything else you like about my videos too - because that will help me improve even more!
I have a million people in my sim city😂
One key factor, at different levels some items don't sell well
Also, put beach and mountain items as close to homes as possible to increase population and therefore collecting more taxes.

+ruslan ptokhnevsdkiy - Useful tips Mayor, thank you for sharing them here! :)
I have another question which is how you can logout on an Android device without deleting the cache for the game? If I could just do that I could access my feeder city however I wanted but I can't. I need to reset the game every time if I want to login and out which is a little obnoxious.
That sounds frustrating - hope you can get it fixed!
Same problem.
+Tom Varga - Yep, once you have it fixed though, it will just work easily!
Thank you so much😘😘😘
+All Your Blocks can you teach me how to upgrade faster my storage or to gain more storage for my city
+Gyruskeem Gyruskeem - Check out my video on Feeder Cities and one way you can accelerate the growth of your City Storage! ua-cam.com/video/U2h3V9AOuhE/v-deo.html
Where can we find "bread sticks with carry bag" & "lady purse with 💲". Please help!
Thank you so much for sharing this information! How about the sim cash, what will be the best strategy to get it other than getting it from from City Achievements?
+Joseph Esporlas - Complete Quests when you get them, and also consider grinding the Video Adverts if you're lucky enough to be randomly selected to see one in game!
wow thanks now I have 300k-400k simpletons thnx!
Please do one video for a lower level
Thank you for the info!
Great, thanks a lot.
+Malcolm Grant - You're welcome! I'm glad it helped you out :)

I am trying to get my population to 8000 but I don't know how, if I get that many I can sell items for money which will be good, pls tell me how to get citizens fast

Then i uninstalled simcity and i didn't play for like 6 months (or less or more)
And then i installed it again and there isn't any shades or traffic light.
I use the same device! How is that possible ?
And also, i dont see any busses, ambulances and garbage trucks on my roads.
U r right man
Best video ever!!
+Habib Hassan - Thank you! That's very kind :)
+All Your Blocks thnaks to you i have generated well over20k simoleons :)! Again thanks bruh!! A huge thumbs up!
That's a good tip!!
+CemPlays - Thanks! I hope you find my other tips and tricks useful too :)
