I love these little track maintenance vehicles, they add a little character and realism to a layout and complement the larger engine nicely. Great review Eric!
As I have come to learn while working on one Small motorized units are not only the neglected step children in the O gauge world but they are also the neglected step child for full size railways You can track and find out tons of info about most individual locomotives, even stuff that was scrapped overtime. But tracking down info for speeders or really small industrial switchers can be an absolute challenge
I really like these, Im getting the Pacific Eletric one. You know, its cool Lionel put TMCC in, but I see it also has the cab light feature that turns on when you stop. Pretty cool. Thanks eric!
Honestly, this is much more fascinating to me than a big boy or something similar. The market is saturated with giant, very expensive, constantly re-run loco’s vs these little speeders and bonders that have lots more character to them.
I think Maintenance of Way vehicles are awesome. It's always a thrill to see the real thing. I live near a busy train station so I often get to see various maintenance of wave vehicles.
Thanks for the vlog today! Those things really go! They should make an amusement park ride like this. It seemed it was on the verge of going on two wheels around those curves. This was fun!
So a cool little factoid for you, that's not a pantograph, that's a trolley pole! I volunteer with electric trains all the time so we're drilled down on the names before we're allowed to operate 😂
Now, if you like small trains, you'll love the Choshi Electric Railway's DeKi 3. I recently got it in 1/80 scale HO and it's the so small my mother thought it was N scale. It lives in the yard by their depot in Nakanochō. I doubt it has ever been made in O scale.
There’s something oddly satisfying about smaller powered units that are relatively slow. I have a really nicely detailed Nickel Plate Road switcher that goes slower than that little guy. They both look great maxed out.
Wow So Cute, Like Baby Garfield From The Upcoming Summer 2024 Animated Garfield Movie! You Know In The Original 2004 "Bill Murray" Garfield Movie When Jon Kicks Garfield Out Of The House You Can See Jon Playing/Operating With A Lionel Train Layout With A Wendy's Restaurant Billboard. Cheers! 😺 🚉
A rail bonder did not mechanically join track together, but electrically. They welded link wires between segments of track for electrical continuity - super-important for electric traction, as well as any track circuit signalling. Nice to see an old-skool trolley pole too :D
Why did they have to make it so cute?
No matter how much you weather that thing... It will still be too damn cute..
Great little motorized unit to run! I have the Long Island Rail Road version.
Right on

Cool little piece with nice detail
Amazing, something that small doesn’t have problems on switches.
I love that little car.

Cool!
You're right it is stinking cute 👍👍
I'm surprised how loud it actually runs. Definitely cute thing. Like the rarity of those sprite things. Enjoy your holidays 🎉
Same to you!
It just shows there’s always a lil’ something for everybody.
-Happy Rails 😅
Eric, Thank you for another spectacular video!
Pretty cool that they can get TMCC into something that small, sound would be the next step.
Awesome video 😊
Brian still had some trippy trolleys when i was there last
Who needs slot cars? That cute little thing is fast! I guess they could have geared it down...
Awsum 🚂😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It should be noted that this rail bonder (M-4) is based on a real vehicle from the Halton County Radial Railway in Milton, Ontario in Canada.
I’d love to see full video of all the little guys! 😂
Not a bad idea
That last angle of it running around the track is probably my favorite angle I've ever seen on this channel.
Thanks for noticing. New camera gadget made that shot possible
Great job Eric and awesome layout, rdoan London ont.
Seeing it actually run on your layout brought a smile to my face! ❤

What would be fun is to get an older on, but the ERR mini commander and you could motorize the older ones and probably fit the speaker.
Quite a zippy lil guy isn't it. Great channel, Sir.
Yes, thanks
Great end credits scenes!!!! Nice touch. :)
This oddly reminds me of the Mister Rodger’s trolley. All it needs are bell sounds.

The hobo union approves of this video, and will be setting up a hobo camp, at a layout near you.....❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Cool stuff 😎

I really want a tmcc Plymouth so bad
thanks !!!! liked the small units that u can collect in O gauge !!!! please make one on them only !!!!

For a little bugger it fly's
Hi Eric 😊
👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Will they run, though DCS?😊
Eric, I'm curious why you dont change to a few transformers to make a more conventional friendly layout?
I wonder why it can’t go slower though - a shame

Too bad. I hate cute stuff, sorry pal 😅
