I think we will have to wait for the next cycle for apocalyptic shadow to really get a feel for the mode. This cycle is optimized for break teams because firefly, so it's entirely focused on how fast you can destroy the break bar. But I don't think the next one will be, so we will see how a dot or fua or crit apocalyptic shadow will look like as I assume it will be much less focused on break.
yeah that's true - im hoping it's not as restrictive or difficult as pf where sometimes you just get screwed over or it becomes extremely difficult if you dont have specific units (looking at the current dot pf)
After clearing it with QQ and Firefly, I went back and tried QQ first half and Sushang second and it worked great. It's so satisfying to see 1.0 4 stars still being good.

I agree so much with the frustration of hoyo creating content just for the new characters,,, I’m skipping ff and WOW I can just feel the consequences of that,, it’s especially bitter when they nerfed a lot of other stuff that would’ve fit a wider arrange of charas just to sell her more,, Also pls make content on the eu server!! Your qq build is so nice. I don't have Jing Yuan's LC, what would be the best alternative for an E6 qq? The team is sparkle, FX and SW (gremlin monoquantum)
i havent tried many teams aside from break yet but since not everyone has ff/bh im seeing if something can be done with just hmc (possibly needing rm as well) will try to come up with something for v6!
I have an E6 QQ without Sparkle and in all honesty, she performs as an average unit. I regularly deal around 150k-200k ult and 100k enhanced AA and follow up. I do also have an E2 Bronya as an alternative for Sparkle. I should also note that I use Himeko's LC (E0) on her since I skipped JY's (her BiS LC) together with decently rolled relics. Using QQ in my early account definitely helped even without E4 (Although, the follow up attack at E4 and skill point management at E6 is immensely helpful). Clearing MoC and story quests back in 1.X-2.2 was fairly easy as she was my only dedicated DPS at the time lol. I recommend building her if you want a fun gameplay each time. All in all, if you're intending to main QQ or build a hypercarry team in general, Hanabi is currently the best support at it and you should pull at her rerun.
bronya is a good alternative but sparkle is literally just the perfect support for her - definitely go for sparkle if you want to maximize her, but even bronya will be good enough for her to clear end game content
