- Of course you don't join the motorway from the hard shoulder you do it from the slip road :)

I have this exact one in 'magnetic tech' its a stunning machine : ) In love with the steering wheel, the carbon kit, the exhaust, the brembos, I freakin love it to bits. I swapped from a WRX and I think I have chosen the right replacement. And its dirt cheap 48K euros, insane bang for buck

This is not a numbered series, its not hand built like the 5 door R., the bodykits of those were put on at Seat Racing. These are made on the same production lines the standard ones. There will be around 1500 of these not only 799. The opf stops it from making the pops and bangs, no dsg farts either. You'd have to do the mid pipe swap to get those.
Hey mate.justwanna pick ya brains. The exhaust on the st 4drive 300 has the 2 opf ones with no mid Res. Is this the same for your one as reviewed in this vid. I know the tips are different. But does it have the 2 filters as normal 4drive. Have you removed the filters without problems.cheers in advance
You need to let the exhaust "Open up". After 2000kms mine is popping on down and upshifts and on enginebraking
It's a shame that in UK it will be missing few options like
Headlights washers
Line assistant
Active Cruise Control
Front fog lights
Wonder why in Europe they have all that and we don't.I would love to have it all that on my one.BUT EVEN WITHOUT THOSE EXTRAS I LOVE MY CUPRA R ABT.BEST CAR FOR THAT MONEY.
Besides the looks and the few toys, with 350bhp it still does 0-60mph in 4.9s. Nice but not sure it’s worth the price tag.

Interesting that you "only" got the 350 version. In Switzerland (and I think other countries as well) we got an ABT version with 370 of the ST. I like the steering wheel and carbon roof spoiler more on this version. Does it have the top down parking view like the Ateca or still the old one like mine?
Is the Switzerland car an Aftermarket ABT option or provided by SEAT at point of order? "off the shelf" ABT tuning is hitting around 370 (as are others), but the car had to be limited to 350 for the UK due to the regulations. They did originally plan 370 for the UK. This one doesn't have cameras all round like the Ateca from what I can see.
@@SEATCupranet-channel It's provided by SEAT at point of order with the ABT tuning included, so full warranty and everything. OK, thanks for the reply! At least it has the same camera as mine then :) Was quite dissapointed that the Ateca only came a few months after mine and already had the nice parking cams.
We got 350 thanks to WLTP rules. Still an amazingly quick car, love mine, I'm sure I read somewhere only 22 were produced in blackness grey for UK, not sure how right that is..
@@markshutt1 They were certainly meant to be just the initial batch in that colour as the only one you could order. Glad you are enjoying the car.
@@SEATCupranet-channel I would of thought WLTP rules would apply across all markets so how come other countries got 370 for the same car? not complaining and I'm sure there's not a lot in it to be fair!
What’s it like on long journeys? I am looking at the S4 TDI and this, but the Audi is a lot more on the same spec. I travel with work and get 25p a mile. But as the list price is under 40k I get some saving there.
Just want to understand the comfort and the long run motorway mpg ..
