The departures out of Dallas, for example, have several waypoints and I usually get a vector initially before ATC has me join the SID. Then I usually end up flying the majority of the SID as published. When the departures are shorter I usually get radar vectors vs flying the SID.
If you are used to single pilot operations then it will not be that hard. It starts getting busier than normal after you get on with New York Center generally. If you will look at the weather and D-Atis before you go and get family with whatever approach they are using it will help a lot. Sometimes they are using a circling approach and some approaches have a mandatory crossing height so make sure to look at plan view on charts. They generally had me down to 4000 or so a good ways out and around the hills coming in it always seems to be turbulent. Taxing is ok but it can get annoying. Sometimes you will be in a queue for taxi. You may want to listen to clearance before you start up. I always used Meridian FBO but it has since been bought out by Signature.
Thanks for your videos--I enjoy them all (from North Mississippi) and also appreciate your scriptures. Just curious, do you have a personal GA aircraft that you fly for fun?
Thanks for watching the channel! No I don’t have a personal aircraft anymore. I have had a Cessna 172 and a 182. Enjoyed both but didn’t have the time to use one enough to justify having it.
Dang son, that landing was like buttering some toast!! Super smooth.
Lol thanks! What do they say “ a blind hog finds an acorn sometimes”.

I like the verse at the end :) GBY brother
Thank you!
Nice landing captain
Thank you!
Thank you!
I’ve only had two SIDS and both of them I ended up getting radar vectors and not following the SID at all, what’s your experience been?

How hard is it for a single pilot to fly into teterboro compared to a another airport for an example Knoxville, Columbus, etc?

@@planeanddirtsimple Well, keep the videos coming. But push that dozer throttle up to the 3rd notch like you do on the M2!
Little odd to restrict 250 kts in the climb for a M2; thanks for sharing.
I believe they were doing it for spacing especially if you were heading to Florida.
