WE NEED FACTIONS! This is arguably the most important feature that’s missing. We need factions of four or more people with various entrances, victory motions and rivalries in Universe Mode.
we need a lot more than that lol. Dont let them condition you to have simple standards. But nah this would be amazing...honestly if they would just make a effort to actually improve the game (FOR GAMEPLAY NOT MYFACTION) and stop with the stupid my faction exclusives, id buy the next one. Otherwise? no
@@IEatBooty4MyDepression if only we could wish for that i know 2k and they are the most lazest company i have ever seen it seems like the company loves my faction while everyone else hates it and it keeps coming back because of the little kids that are dumb enough to keep buying cards, id love my faction if they allow us to transfer over the extra models and stuff over to the base game but it wont ever happen why cause they are dealing with a company within a company that doesnt want to deal with more contracts to allow for this and that for base game, thats why for me there needs to be enough update on accurate legends models, if they put kane 08 back in we kane fans want him deaged to be as scary as he was during his monster days and not this chubby cheeks smiling mayor wearing his gear, we all wish they update universe mode but they made it clear they dont care for that mode at all or we'd get a over hall on it by now
I would love to see different types of distractions, like on TV. Or see a superstar distractions mid match and join commentary team. Lumberjack matches too
Lumberjack isn’t going to happen because of the limitations of wrestlers on screen. They had these distractions, wrestlers interfering, wrestlers titan tron, coming out & costing the match. Much like all the realistic things in matches & gameplay 2K stripped it down. It’s a strike based fighting game with combos, breakers, blocking & dodging. This is why I have dubbed it 2K2.0 which didn’t fix things & added more canned animations to where you’re WATCHING & not PLAYING!
Be cool if a wrestler came out before the match started and joined the commentary team. Or see them sitting ringside then interfears or trys to attack after the match is over

Matt, we gotta ask the developers about finally getting 4-MAN Custom Entrances when creating stables. I always forget to bring this up.
I would like WWE2k 24 to have better victory motions with fireworks if your in a championship match and main event make feel authentic like when Roman Regins holds up his championships and fireworks go crazy
My own wishes:
1. More Signature and Finisher Slots.
2. The return Create-a-Move from pre-2K15, with further customization, maybe even being able to upload them and assign them to any area, not just Sigs and Finishers.
3. The ability to pre-book matches in Universe, like choosing which wrestlers fight each other in what match at a PPV, and then it maybe also automatically starts rivalries based on your choices. The randomness of Universe Mode's match choices can be infuriating at times.
I agree with fighting stances but I wish we could customize more general actions like Reversals, seeing there's unique ones for certain wrestlers.
1st one is so easy to like I can't have roman reigns have a corner spear a normal one and his choke
The Create a Finisher was never good. You never created anything you just did their job in connecting poorly animated moves that where already on the game.
Having random MyUniverse matches is a hard pill to swallow. It's been three years, and MU is always the mode that gets the short end of the stick.
They’re most likely going to leave the majority of things the same while they continue to focus on My Faction unfortunately.
Small changes I’d expect to see would be new cutscenes to Universe mode. I think My Rise will retain a similar formula and Showcase will most likely be about Randy Orton, Undertaker, Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar as Edge will most likely be at AEW this year.
I can see a lot of stuff annoying the fans like removing The Usos from the game, still not adding more double title entrances because no one has 2 titles this year except the tag teams etc
i think they should just add all the old double title entrances they had in previous games when they did have it, or they could just make it a way where if someone has a title motion they can just make one of the titles be on the waist.
I hope the Endeavor deal would mean a possible change in game developers, so 2k will suddenly do something amazing in hopes WWE will still want them
I personally feel like that the crowd needs to have an updated volume and Samantha Irvin should be the ring announcer. Either way, is good to watch this video.
That’s a good idea about the crowd suggestions you said. For sports games like nba 2k and madden, the crowd is also important. But for wrestling games the crowd (imo) is most crucial for shows.
If special guest referee comes back and if the wwe superstars are just appearing in their wrestling attire i would make a referee attire for the superstar. Would you do that Matt? Let me know.
Imo when a champion wins a nom title match they should still do their championship victory
WWE 2K24 needs more legends, alot of new moves, alot of new taunts, alot of new entrance animations, biggest roster ever!!
We should get like a automatic comeback once you get tagged-in in a hot tag. Makes tag team more flowy
I’ve been speaking about the crowd reactions for YEAAAARS like, even the created characters get treated as if they’re a nobody and you could be number ranked popular in universe. The audio for crowds could be so much better. It could be a 5 star rating match and it would feel bland.. that’s not right
Love the ideas...but would also love to see them add:
1. Tons more tag team moves (and single moves).Not just modifications (like different dropkicks, but unique moves)
2. Tons more tag entrances (and single entrances)
3. I know a pipe dream due to copyright limitations, but even if offline, someway to use own audio tracks for entrances.
This is something small that I would love to see in move-set. Is bring back the ring exit of Kane and the Undertaker backflip out of the ring.
Smackdown vs Raw 2007 I'm pretty sure was the last game to have unique wrestler stances, I agree that they should bring it back.
They still need to work on the collision in the game and chain wrestling
Universe is my favourite mode and I think it's due some massive love as over the years it's been stripped of what made it great. Show intros, including the video/better manager interactions (2k23 doesn't even always do the manager and superstar intro it should). Should have proper entrances working better with a manager/ promos definitely need to be put in and reworked/ we need better rivalry cut scenes, 2k15 had some good random ones that would happen, which I feel this year's doesn't (also lock and include special ones for certain wrestlers). All these things would really help to make it more immersive, rivalries certainly need to be more of a story and not just the usual cut and paste borefest on repeat.
Love the content brotha, i would love to see the Three Cage Match from the WCW days extremely unlikely but it would be awesome. i would love to see evolution and DX entrances tag and trio. Really really want to see Road Warriors, Demolition, and the Dudley Boyz in a DLC pack together. Last but not least RETRO superstars, MY time triple H, Classis 500$ jacket Rock, Classic Shawn Michaels etc. etc. Its something they already have licensing for but never do. Easy fixes that would make a huge difference.
That would be cool I want more legends too and all the evolution dx stuff for sure

For Match types special Ref,buried Alive and Casket matches I do miss. Although when was the last time we saw those last two on WWE tv. I do hope Heritage cup match is added. Since NXT is putting a lot of emphasis on that lately.
WWE2K hasn’t felt like a simulation since Yukes was still involved
One thing they need to add back again is the replay after matches end. They took it away from us in 2k19 (unsure about 20), and they didn’t bring it back in 22 which is sad. Really hoping they add it into 2k24, the immersion was awesome with it.

I think if you pick Stone Cold and you hit the Stunner and your opponent have their own unique sell and The Rock People's Elbow with a alt attire the elbow pads comes off
More arena fighting into the stands OMG moments that have impact like getting thrown into the barricade that should have an impact
Totally miss omg moments breaking the barricade now looks so bad also need to make it when you spear someone through a chamber pod you don’t have to lay there with them till they get up and would be awesome for more environmental interactions and to rework cage matches and hell in a cell where you can access more moves outside the ring in the cell and better interactions throwing people into and threw the cage
They need to update the custom Titantrons, let you create your own entrance banners, and create your own finisher
1- Being able to pin after a tired finisher is executed
2- In WWE2K23 for some reason 2.9 counts never happen in pins (for example if you pin your opponent and the ref counts 2 you 100% know it’s a 3 count sometimes)
3- Managers being able to pull the ref out of the ring to help allies (managers barely help anymore)
With as great of a roster we got nowadays I wish we had RTWM instead of Career Mode.
The part about the audio im with you been wanting it for years, this year was big we had amazing crowds Puerto Rico for example, i want the crowd in 2k24 to sing songs and get loud for L A Knight and Jey uso etc
I want to be able to set eliminations in wargames and I really wish they could just give us create a story back but that's very unlikely

They should do tag team promos in gm mode too imo
the issue with double title entrances is that most of the wrestlers don't really have one. roman Reigns, Stone Cold, The Rock, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston ( before joining the new day) all have motions for double title entrances in previous games. It's not going to be easy to set one up for everybody on the roster. Special guest referee can see it only working for one on one matches. they really need to get rid of Superstar universe mode, again there is something going on in that mode that's causing us to have some issues with classic universe mode.
the whole roster def won’t have a motion but they can put in a few generic motions as well like they used to. Wouldn’t be suprised if it’s just Roman’s entrance next year lol
@@Jayden20933 they got to use motions from 2k19 in order for guys like orton, The Rock and Austin to be able to carry two titles at the same time during their entrance. I think we are asking for too much especially only Roman and whoever are the tag team champs having the double title entrance.
Triple H had a real life double title entrance that I don't think has been in a game

What i feel like WWE2k24 needs as well are more and improved Rivalry System.
First of all, when i want to make a Pre-Match attack on someone who is making their entrance, why does he not do the entrance and instead cuts to the part he gets attacked? the same thing goes for when the opponent doesnt fight and sends in someone else, why can i not see the entrance of the one who came up first?
I feel like there should be also a lot more Stipulation Rivalry actions for example a Triple Threat, where the faction beats both of the Triple Threat opponents at the same time. Or for TLC when the Opponent throws someone into a Ladder, Conchairtos etc. The Variety is missing.
What i hate the most is that, if you decide to make a rivalry action that involves with someone attacking you mid fight, you cannot decide the opponent and is purely randomized.
I would love a special guest referee and I would love even more if we could play as said guest referee like 2k14
We need more attitude era wrestler and wcw/ecw wrestlers.. more old school arenas. For gameplay wise i want the old wwe 2k14 style gameplay to return.

I have yet to play War Games, or 2K23 as a game itself... life is too hectic right now!
Nonetheless, we truly need to see this franchise evolve!!
Maybe, just maybe, now that UFC/WWE have merged, we will see more resources dedicated to they're gaming division!!

Potential rivalries I would like to see back. It works better for a random universe. Though it should create a rivalry slot automatically when it happens.
I want special guest referee but I’m afraid that it will only be in 1v1 and the wrestlers won’t be in the shirt just their wrestling attire

5V5 Wargames and Tag Matches would be pretty sweet!!!!

WWE 2K24 should completely give new and updated version of Roman’s entrance by himself and new animations for the running and corner versions of the Superman Punch
I really hope that they FIX the bugs problem within the game before they released out in public. I'm really hoping they fix the universe mode.
I wish they would just get rid of rivalry spots. I hate how the action cut scenes that we get to pick can only be the people in the rivalry that makes no sense. I don’t want to have the same two people or same tag team facing each other every week so if I have Shinske and Seth in arrival one week, I would like to have Seth face AJ styles, but Shinske comes down and attack him before the match or during the match and I can’t really do that with the way they have the set up. Let me set these cut scenes or action scenes with any superstar that I want. It shouldn’t just be superstars that are in the rivalry that upsets me the most they need to make it the same way, THQ used to do WWE story design mode
I agree with all of this. Especially amping up the crowd pops. They've always needed to be louder with cheers and boo's. Also it would be cool to implement the star system with the crowd. The more stars you get, the louder the crowd gets. Until you have 5 stars and the crowd starts chanting stuff like "This is awesome" and "Holy Sh*t". One thing you missed out on however was weapons. They need upgraded weapons. Thumbtacks would be nice. They need to fix advance creation suit cause it's SO broken compared to WWE2K19. You can't even view a motion before you pick it.
I would like to see double title matches in universe. Run ins need to be put back in universe, cutscene system needs to have more control, you can’t choose who you want in cutscenes specifically. If universe mode really is the sandbox mode, then we should be able to customize the cutscenes to who we want in them. It’s a nice addition, but when you can’t choose who you want, it’s kind of pointless.
Pat MacAfee dancing in the table to Shinkue’s intro would be a hilarious touch to 2k24
We need more custom trio entrances more attitude arenas cuz some of these arena some of the arenas in 23 are okay but they're not enough custom entrance music😂
I agree with what a lot of people have said, that they should take a year or two, and add features that everyone has been dying for! The more they add, the more replay value they will have, and that will draw players back, and make wwe games great again! If we could climb the fist on smackdown like here comes the pain again, or if we can actually interact with more items within the arena and back stage, then 2k would regain a lot more players!
If we could do a a running mode for the money in the Bank not sure if we can or not but that be dope
I feel as if 2k games are able to add in unique reversals for certain superstars then it shouldn't be that hard to add unique movements for their real life counterparts. Definitely would make things feel and look realistic
For my GM I would like if they add more match types than just singles, Two on Two, Triple Threat and Fatal Four Way, like 6 man or 8 man

I really miss OMG moments. I’m fine with the just having a table finisher but I haven’t been really able to do any of the other omg moments by just doing the actions would love a prompt to just do it with a cutscene.
I really do hope they add in some more of those double title entrances but I’m still asking for tag title entrance options. Imperium, The Usos and I believe in the MSK tag entrance had a unique champ entrances and I wish I could pick one of those options or just a generic tag champ because not everyone wears around their waist when they are in a tag team plus I’ve had issues of sometimes Imperium does their tag champ entrance when they are competing for a tag title but they aren’t the champions and then when they are the champions they don’t do their champ entrance. Especially since the tag belts are still unified to also had a double tag champ entrance of course just keep to the Uso’s one because it’s the easiest one to do currently because it’s already in the game before they do the full expansion of adding more like the The Judgement Day’s and KO & Sami’s double tag champ entrance.
Also since Judgement Day is a thing to bring back the 4 person entrance they had when saNity was in the game and to still let us customize the entrances for tag and trios for a stable when there are more than 3 people in it. I have a CAW 4 person stable I haven’t really been able to do right since they did 2k22 so I’ve been having to leave one of them out for the meantime
1. Entrance music loud enough to actually hear
2. Ai vs Ai Tag matches actually ending (pin breakup limit)
3. More brawl areas

what I would love, in terms of a pop, is a popularity meter in the creation suite, the higher you set it the louder pop you get

Honestly, i just want a working Universe Mode and updated themes/trons etc! They should be updating these things every couple of months.. Id even pay!!
I'd like to see wrestler appearance updates, hair, beards, attires even possibly something linked to their latest gimmick.
3 stages of hell,Allow unique pins,tired pins have more than 3 titles,8 man elimination hell in the cell,bring back the old elimination chamber since they have the other cage versions,special referee ,bring back blood dripping in the ring from the players face,add more omg finishers,add create a finisher ,crowd interference or being able to grab something from the crowd as weapon and that’s it💯
Another feature I wish they can add is smackdown vs raw 2006 slow mo camera black and white when you hit your finisher,They gotta adds different camera angles when hitting your finisher give it more bang

HARD agree on the entrance audio, the crowd reactions make it seem like a small Indy show with 100 people there and if I have to hear “WOO GO GET UM” one more time I’m throwing my ps out the window
One thing that nobody ever brings up anymore is more creative freedom with the entrances.
Of course you can make your own video for the titantron but they never update it and we still can’t make our own graphics outside the video
IMO it takes away from creating CAWs
They need more logo and CAW slots too
2k needs to bring back in-depth story modes.

I never get it done to break the barrikade in 2K23. I hate this so much. Just want OMG moments
I’m a big fan of ultimate team gameplay modes like they’ve done with MyFaction but it lacks so so much. Prices are bonkers to the point where I don’t spend anything. Also can they please add ring walkouts to MyFaction mode lol. They could also make MyFaction so much bigger if they added all of the regular single player modes to it. It’d be so much fun doing my gm or a universe mode with your collected MyFaction cards. Instead of it being random live matches they come up with and repetitive match modes.
I’m too lazy to list everything else I’d want in every other mode 😂
Special guess referee is more than a match type. It brings more realism to the match. I being the ref can control the length and let the match tell a story. You can have a challenger chase a champion then you being the ref will make sure the challenger gets his reward aka a new champion. Or when a villain wrestler uses his cheat move you automatically give the 3 count hearing the boos. I created a whole organization behind that. I won’t by another game until they bring it back.
It would be nice to create an arena like Armageddon, Unforgiven, Kotr, Fully Loaded

More face damage would be awesome I’d love for more realistic damage throughout a match . Or what if in universe they added the rib tape
Should add a popularity rating and that could contribute to the crowd reaction
Maybe allow more signature moves than 2 like in Fight Forever or allow some finisher variations, not just a superfinisher type. For example, you still have your 2 main finishers, but you also can choose a variation of the same move to be your alternative finisher and make it a toggle between your main finishers and alternative finishers. That would spice things after you have played a number of matches as the same wrestler and want to add some variety.
Another big thing with the Creative Suite is Create an Arena. I know most people don't seem to care about CAA but being an arena creator, we take pride in what we create with it for all to enjoy. It's ridiculous how "new" or returning arenas find their way back into the game only for us to not be able to use it as a preset in the mode. We should be able to use arenas unlocked in Showcase/My Rise AND also be able to modify every aspect of the arena.
It would be really to be able to modify in game arenas and create entirely new ones being able to change any and everything in the arena.
Let's have more competition options . Let's have a story mode that's like the old days with much more creativity.
Let's have managers that don't just stand at the side but actually interact in the match.
Let's have expanded playability altogether. Put in player voices and bring back use of external music for intros.
Expand the 1000 image limit as its way too small.
Dump showcase.
Dump collecting cards.
Unfortunately the roster is so cut back there is no incentive to buy wwe2k24.
Yes bring back run ins that make sense.
Honestly the 2k formula for wwe will always be 1 step forward 2 steps back or the other way which is 2 steps forward 1 step back.
They need to bring back:
-Locking Up/Chain Wrestling
-Optional Squash Matches
-Promos & Show intros
Things they need to improve:
-Truly make Universe into a Sandbox, let us truly have control
-Commentary & Crowd
-Double Title
-Faction Rivalries instead of just Two on Two
Things I wanna see them bring in:
-Customize Ref + Special Guest Ref
-A mode similar to Beat the streak, I'm thinking a Conquer the Bloodline mode or Conquer The Tribal Chief, pick anybody you want and try to pin Roman. Roman gets all kinds of ridiculous things like infinite finishers and signatures, interferences from Paul Heyman, run ins from Jimmy, Jey, or Solo throughout the match. Truly make it a nightmare experience like The Undertaker was in 2k14
-Gauntlet Matches
-Allow the Women be busted open and have first blood matches
-I Quit Matches
-New customization options for CAW Male & Female, alot of the attire options that aren't used by a specific wrestler are straight ass and needs an overhaul of new stuff
-let us connect to Spotify and use whatever song we want for our CAW
-STOP LOCKING ALTERNATE VERSIONS OF SUPERSTARS BEHIND MY FACTION THIS ISN'T GONNA MAKE US PLAY THE MODE IT JUST PISSES US OFF
Booker T on commentary. Tie ups for technical wrestlers. The ability to take off Top Rope Diver, Dirty pin & Rope Break. A better Create A Video. The ability to create custom signs. Visual representation of limb damage. More motions especially for females, female tag & 3-4 man factions.
Honestly, for entrances, we need to be able to use normal victories as championship victories
Definitely agree with all of that, the crowd has been dead for so long to the point where i'll play soccer/football crowd sounds on youtube in the background. The ring announcer is too damn generic and has zero emotion. Run-in's need a revamp like you said. I'm tried of superstars like Edge for example having Andre the-fucking-giant run in.
I just want them to properly fix stables entrances, and the chance to have a WWE theme library to choose the themes we want, it could be easy implementing Spotify
Alright guys hear me out What if They combined My GM and Universe mode where you can use money to draft stars and also be free to do universe mode things but also have the competition with shows.
I think that’s the direction they should go. I feel if they keep building up mygm it’ll turn in to universe and then they will need to just combine the modes

Great video, Matt! I agree with this 100%. Unfortunately, I fear special ref will only be 1v1. I hope not. Also, I don't think this is a make or break feature either. It's just a feature that needs to be back.
More croud reactions and more things to do with chairs and even a setting with extra blood where if you beat them up enough ALOT MORE blood comes out and maybe some blood on the mat. Also, trash cans could be a really nice addition.
Starting universe mode I wish there was like a draft of some sort for each show u have
k.o. system, dual title defense, use in in-game soundtrack as theme songs or add new original theme songs, injury should affect characters gamrplay
The main thing i think we need is a real career mode. The career mode should be like NBA 2k too. A bit of story at the beginning and then a real career mode going from match to match, doing promos, doing press conferences. Even facing your release at points and going to the indies potentially and working your way back or going to fake promotions like bcw or that Japan one.
Something I’ve been wanting for years is Champions celebrating with there titles even in non title matches like real life
I think the audio from commentators and crowds needs to be one of the highlights of 2k24
If they want WWE2K24 to stand out they should add A 2K Import system, where you could import any superstar from 2K15 to 2K23 into the game. Original commentary would already be in the game from past games of the franchise. They also need to bring back nostalgia moves they removed or never added like multiple versions of the side headlock, apron grapples when both standing on the apron, apron senton and penalty kick, slingshot sunset flip, side headlock multi punches, signature gestures after hitting finishers would be a big change.
Call outs & promos is a must 💯%
Lots of taunts have also gone! each wrestler should have their own taunts and not be a default selection. silly when The Rock does SCSA arm throw taunt in the corner rather than throw a single arm up or smell the air.
dude when it comes to the audio the mat sound effects for me have no impact at all. wwe 2k14 and 13 for that matter had it the best before they moved away from. certain sound effects and other things left with bryan williams i think. hes back though in full force it seems. from one toronto boy to another can you please address at some point the ring and impact sound

There are three things that I think the devs can really EASILY do for WWE 2k24. Granted, I am not a game developer, so who knows if this is really easy? LOL
1. Add the Royal Rumble finishers as normal apron moves in other modes.
2. Crowd Audio: Basically what you said
3. Update/add commentary on certain moves. Also have at least 3 rivalry commentaries for ALL superstars.
