WOW can't believe I just stumbled on this masterpiece for the first time! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Also, mixing in some William Blake images was an inspired choice!
well alright now ain't that the truth!!! Dealing with the devil I do this everyday as a matter of fact we all do.We all got them...'The blue's.Nice song, nice beat, nice rhythm and definitely good harp playing by brother James.Thank you!!!
(Альбом 1996 года Deep In The Blues.)
I have been unfaithful by sleeping with my ex, considered the devil by my wife. She no longer loves me today and this song speaks to me so much. That's what I heard.

@SteveCounsel In fact, almost all music should be heard without the use of images (except those which are provided in their own musical work). Now, UA-cam, leads to the incorporation of images and the freedom to be able to use whatever we want.
flurry17171717 You can play it on a D harp, because the song is in the key of D, that would be 1st position. I play it on a G harp, 2nd position. He might be playing in 1st, but I'm pretty sure he's playing in 2nd. But anyway, Cotton is great !
Actually I probably understand more about it then you realize, hence my "bold" and informed opinion. Don't take it personally though it wasnt meant as an insult to you or your effort in putting up the song, I'm glad you did I haven't heard that version before. Personally though I think this song more about a man dealing with a hornery woman then the actual devil
@SteveCounsel If they are stupid for you, it's perhaps because you don't know its history and its significance in art history. Ignorance is bold, like you. My intention is to share on UA-cam a few songs that I like, removing it pleased, without having someone bothering me or anyone who wants to be aggressive. I request that you stop commenting my videos.
@SteveCounsel It seems clear that the letter speaks of a woman. It would be too obvious to put women to highlight the song (or maybe not, depending on the women), but would be given an interpretation much more Jewish-Christian that always linked the evil with the woman - an idea with which I disagree.
James Cotton is a National Treasure. R.I.P. Thank God for the Blues🎸🎶

Good one
