Thanks for the report Steve, I've always had bad experiences with telescopic rod's more so when i catch a fish the sections seem to slide back down making the rod shorter 🙄, and if i pull the sections out nice and tight i end up not being able to collapse them back in again, the joy's of fishing 😂, hope that weed clears up for u mate, Tight Lines 👍 🎣
@huntindownunder1 yeah there's probably a fine line between extending it out too tight and not tight enough. Can't say I've ever had one collapse down on me though. I love them as a travel rod. I'll definitely have it in the car when I head up to my brothers place in Qld come winter.
Hi mate , what you’re showing is pretty much the same everywhere I’m still at Seaspray and have been watching the many drone boys putting there lines out only to be pulling in even more weed and stingrays “ such is life “ as they say cheers from windy Seaspray 🎣
You may be on the money Steve believing that casting out a fair distance and keeping the line above the shore break, you should be able to at least keep a bait in the water for a time at low tide. Should this be true, that would at least give a couple of hours window of fishing. Thanks for sharing Steve.
@Mark-ew5jm i think so mate, that's what it looked like to me. Pk's coming here for the weekend, I think we'll head down there tomorrow morning and give bait a go at low tide.
Damn. Bloody weed is like a plague at the moment. With the big flatties and bream being caught in the lake, maybe that’s a better option. Hope the weed clears for you mate.
Nice rod . Looking good Stevo
