I spent just 1 year at UBC as an exchange student: it literally changed my life and I still think of it as the best year ever (at least so far ;)
İs it expensive university or not please tell me if you can. I really need to know that quickly.

I don't know if I'm just emotional but that was beautiful and I really truly think that this small teaser captured so many beautiful aspects of UBC. One of the best discussions of my life was to attend this university. British Columbia is absolutely gorgeous and there is simply so much to offer. Amazing Video.
I studied here for 8 years and got two degrees. I will miss this amazing school :(

cringe hunny it’s like 20k to 26k for undergraduates then like 6k for graduate. I’m not sure the prices might get higher.

@@enia.3290 wrong its above 40k that's why my friends and I choose sfu for which we are paying 27kcad a year. I will go for masters to ubc.
You only get post secondary education once in your life, if you passionate to a program (that UBC offers) and to the UBC. I say do everything, whatever it takes to pay your tuition fees. Scholarships, students loan, grants, etc.
Maybe the best located campus ... anywhere.
Now, if someone could just do something about all the rain (it rains more than video shows).

I LOVE UBC in VANCOUVER. I dont even go to that school BUT I REALLY LOVE IT. its the only university in canada that has a beach (WRECK BEACH) AND THE SCENERY IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND THE STUDENT HOUSING IS PRETTY CHEAP COMPARED TO MOST BUT THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME FROM GOING THERE IS THAT THEY DONT HAVE A LOT OF ATHLETIC TEAMS EX; SOCCER. I LOVE SOCCER N ITS A HUGE PART OF ME. UBC not having a soccer team just breaks my HEART. I HOPE THEY GET IN THE NEXT YEAR N ILL B GOIN THERE 4 SURE .:)

I actually have been to a couple of these places they showed. I think that you didn't get a chance to feed seals because you're in a different faculty.

Hello I was just wondering about what I need to get into ubc arts grade wise. my grades are as follwing Grade 9: 3.125 Grade 10: 3.0 Grade 11: 4.0 Grade 12 first trimester:4.0And a 1800 on my sats Yes im an American so can you tell me my chances by grades? Also I have 2 recomendations one by my principle and one by my congressman. I have over 50-100 hours of voulentear work and I have been playing varsity volleyball all 4 years. And other extra curriculars and good stuff.

UBC is better. UWaterloo is not a research intensive university for CS.

Curtis I he asked about a Masters degree so research output would be a pretty significant consideration.

if u can afford the tuition fees then why not i am guessing ur an international student (not canadian). i just got accepted with grades similar to urs 1600 on my SAT and a 3.2 GPA. and i was the captain of my high school soccer team. with few hours of voluntere work

What average is required to get into UBC? I know 90 credits is required and other standards(i'm already knowledgeable with), but the average is different every year. I'm graduating next year and UBC is my top choice, second would be SFU.

Hello. I would really appreciate it if someone could provide me some useful information about the annual tuition in the UBC. I'm from Greece; therefore, knowing the expenses for both the locals and international students would be more than great. One think I found out, which disappointed me, is that UBC doesn't have a Hospitality Major. The spectrum of Majors is obviously satisfactory, but Hospitality's missing. I plan on studying Hospitality, but any other college/university on the tourism industry I've searched for in the city is either expensive or private. I really hope UBC will take this under consideration and finally establish a Major regarding the Tourism industry. That would be fantastic.
hi, i saw on the website that just tuition, books and health insurance is about 15,700 canadian dollars for one school year, plus the cost of living and food, anyways you can go to the website and click on tuitions and they have a calculator you can use to give you an idea.
