  • Suzuki Baleno GL Series Fuel Consumption
    If you're searching for a vehicle with lower operating expenses, you may choose for a 1.2-litre engine with a 'mild' hybrid system installed. This engine reduces CO2 emissions to below 100 grams per kilometer traveled and achieves an official combined fuel consumption of 70.6 miles per gallon.
    Despite the fact that it has a manual transmission, it is remarkably fuel efficient, averaging 62.7mpg and producing just 105g/km of CO2. If you choose for the optional six-speed automatic transmission, these numbers are somewhat lower - efficiency is reduced to 57.6mpg and CO2 emissions are increased to 115g/km.
    The little three-cylinder turbocharged engine in the entry-level 1.0-litre Boosterjet version of the Suzuki Baleno GL Series generates almost the same amount of power as the most powerful 1.2-litre Skoda Fabia, according to the manufacturer. Because of its light weight, the performance of this automobile is much superior than what the official figures would have you think.
    Furthermore, you won't have to exert much effort on the engine's behalf. By 2000rpm, it has settled into a comfortable rhythm, and you will seldom need to rev it over 4000rpm. You will hear the unmistakable but not unpleasant thrum that we've come to anticipate from these little turbocharged three-cylinder engines when you do. But there is a distinct vibration that can be felt via the steering wheel and pedals that indicates the presence of a problem. It's far better than in other competitors, such as the Hyundai i20, but it may come as a surprise to people who are used to four-cylinder superminis in their daily driving.
    There is no diesel engine available in the lineup; instead, customers concerned with fuel efficiency should choose the 1.2-litre hybrid model. It is not capable of running only on battery power, in contrast to automobiles like as the Toyota Prius. Instead, the electric system assists the driver in getting the automobile going at a slow pace. Despite the fact that it is substantially slower than the Boosterjet, it is capable of much higher fuel efficiency under real-world conditions.
    When it comes to handling, there is enough grip, albeit the economy-oriented tyres mean that there is less than in a Fabia or a Polo. The Suzuki Baleno GL Series is safe, but it isn't really enjoyable. On highways, the steering does not provide much input from the front tyres, and modest modifications must be made on a consistent basis. You'll also find yourself whirling the steering wheel a lot in order to get it to round turns properly. In addition, there is a lot of body lean in the corners.
    It is possible to feel the road's surface at times, even if the suspension is soft, and the suspension makes noise while it is traveling up and down. When traveling at high speeds, you might hear a lot of road and wind noise. Still, this is a supermini, so a certain degree of this is to be anticipated; it is, however, far from being the worst in its category. Even when driving, the entertainment system is situated high on the dashboard, making it simple to observe. Overall, it's rather responsive, however several of the symbols are too tiny to hit precisely when driving down a reasonably rough road, which is a shame.
    This is where the Suzuki Baleno GL Series shines the brightest. It will not be necessary for front seat passengers to collide elbows, but taller drivers may find their heads closer to the roof line than they would want. When you get to the back, it's hard not to be amazed with the amount of space available.
    It is still possible to fit a full-sized adult behind a tall driver, and there will be plenty of leg space. Even though there is less head space in the back compared to the front, for individuals who are taller than normal, it is still comfortable. When you open the back hatch, you'll discover a boot that's nearly as large as the one in a Fabia. It comes equipped with a two-level floor, which lowers the load lip and gives a nearly flat cargo surface when the rear seats are folded down. They come with a convenient 60/40 split fold as standard.

      I use 95 BP . I can get 500 km on a 30 litre .
      Don't use BP v 98 you get less km and pay more.
      I know another driver who has the same issue . You think you get more but you get less km..

    Build quality of this car is same as indian variant or better than that?

    • @CarBooth1
      @CarBooth1  2 роки тому

      Well these come the same factory there just badged as a Suzuki not as Maruti Suzuki. I'll say it better equiped the ones here in Australia as they have more features. The build quality is alot better than the EW series 1 the quality felt cheap but the EW series 2 in this video it much much better.

      You can still get suzukis build in japan. Label on passenger side door tells you where they were build. Personally i would not touch any made in India but thats just personal choice. Looking to buy a new one if i can find one stuff waiting months for one:( All makers are flat out advertising when they know they cant supply. Sounds like a trap they hold on to your money and mostly likelly you'll get sick of waiting and request your money back.
