Still wondering what the EU has to do with the amount of INDIAN and PAKISTANI people in Britain... Let's think about, maybe there are other reason for Indian and Pakistani people in GB!
No one seems to point out to these brexiteers who complain about the skin colour of the people in their communities (which has nothing to do with Europe) that maybe it was because they largely originated in countries which were part of The British Empire. People from Britain went out to their countries to rule over them and make them part of the Great British Family, so now they have come to the mother country to sample what we have to offer them.
I live in the EU and I am an qualified engineer. Regarding the three pin plug comment you have to wonder about these people. In the Country where I live the Mains plugs and sockets are round two pins and two earth contacts. They are far easier to install and with circuit breakers which even allow sockets to be placed above sinks on bathrooms. Now if that is not considered safe in the UK that is a matter of opinion but I can tell you that we are not and never had experienced a dearth of electrocutions due to the safety of the electricity supply in houses.
We've got somebody from the OED to explain the advantages of dictionaries "but we have to have somebody from the other side" ....yeah..... that. Should probably look up "gormless"
If 3-pin plugs are so great, why didn't the UK try to make them standard across the EU? I spent 30 years with 3-pin plugs and have now spent 32 years without them. I like the fact that I can now take ALL of my things with me on holiday and they all work without adapters. Is there a safety benefit to 3-pin plugs? Somehow, I rather doubt it. I had two mains shocks in the UK (I admit they were due to me own stupidity, but I was young) and have never had one anywhere else.
I've read an article a while ago comparing the systems. There was a safety benefit in the beginning (because the longer middle plug connects to the ground first) which has longer a benefit since the security mechanism of the new Schuko (or type E and F). But there remains a small injury risk by the 3 pin plugs since they can lie up side down and cause pain of you step on them (which can cause more injuries from falling)
I love the people who say they see people doing "sod all, all day". How do you know? Are you also doing sod all, all day while watching others do sod all, all day? The guy who claimed he followed someone who got off a boat then walked right in to a Job Centre to sign on is a classic too.

The plug story is a load of BS…… EU also have 3 pin plugs. And we can choose the British ones if we wish. I am not sure if you can do that in GB Land. It’s easy anyway to put EU 2 pin plugs into a British socket. So easy! The British wiring system leaves a lot to be desired. In the EU it is intelligently piped so you can change the wires when the rules change without breaking walls. There is so much that one can waffle about when distracting form Brexit to 3 pin plugs….. at least that might be a Brexit benefit? 3 pin plugs existed even in the 60’s. I know because I am from Britain but got my first job in Italy after graduating in England. Lucky I left like a lot of the drain drain lot did in the late 70’s and 80’s……… graduate and go or leave school and go……! James, talking over people is rude. Please stop it. It makes you seem less sure of your skills in a debate and while I agree with your position on Brexit, it’s hard to listen to someone being so obtuse and belligerent to members of the public. It’s incredibly off putting and makes me want to disassociate myself with you. It also screams of insecurity in your ability to tackle what they might be about to say. I hope you see this.

Three pin plugs and bendy bananas how can people survive
These people obviously have nobody in their life who ask a follow up question and demand it be answered
The Pascal Lammy debacle was ridiculous that was Brexit in a nutshell
So, U want rejoin EU?
imagine u live on mars and u talk about skin color.
Imagine you live in Rotherham and you talk to a copy about child safeguarding
The majority of small businesses have gone…. But this guy has his three pin plug rights…!? 😳 👍🏾 ok right on mate..!? ✊🏽
As funny as this is (about as funny as a heart attack) let’s get James’ thoughts on the Sheffield ‘boy’ (as Keir starmer referred to him as) who was knifed to death.. let me guess, jeff bezos’ fault? Elon’s fault? Tories fault
Shocking, shocking, erm, swift action, erm, difficult decisions, erm, getting on with the job, erm, black hole, erm, someone else’s fault! erm, voice coach!?
I'm inclined to think leave voters are not the smartest cookies in the biscuit barrel but, then again, maybe one should keep an open mind.
Reminds me of that sit com based on British immigrants working on building sites and living in Germany: ‘ Auf wiederesehen Pet’. A lot of us left like migrating swarms of birds……..!
3 pin plugs HAHAHA
Why would you want to rejoin the EU when most countries are voting for right wing parties?
*crickets from the lefties*
Caller #1 not understanding that some plugs are for class 2 appliances which don't need earthing due to dual insulation is hilarious.
We could have used adapter instead of leaving the EU 😂
James's hairlines changed a lot since 2016.
5:14 I saw someone describe those "impartial" debates as like someone hosting a debate between one person who thought you needed to be well dressed to go out, and the other who said you can go out caked head to toe in feces, and eventually coming to the conclusion that just a little feces all over your body would be fine for everyone...!
Its 2016 and trumpf is back - Brexit voters.
At least Brexit voters can spell.
DRUMPF
3 pin plugs😅
James, talking over people is rude. Please stop it. It makes you seem less sure of your skills in a debate and while I agree with your position on Brexit, it’s hard to listen to someone being so obtuse and belligerent to members of the public. It’s incredibly off putting and makes me want to disassociate myself with you. It also screams of insecurity in your ability to tackle what they might be about to say. I hope you see this.
Imagine blaming the European union on Great Britain colonialism.
You have a lot more grey hairs now Jim 😂😂😂.
Is this funny? 😂😂😂
Not surprising ,when you listen to the plebs who believed in brexit, phoning in and unable to offer any plus points about Brexit.
@Varley-k1n well that's brave of you to admit your addiction.🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🤪
Did Steve not realise that this (no doubt mythical) supermarket supposedly employing these people to 'represent the local community' do so because they ARE the local community? Or does he think they do a daily communte from Delhi?
Gosh, the plugs.
Painful listening. It's like we got to the year 2000 .................. an then started going backwards 😞
Let’s just be clear. Brexit was never properly implemented.
"No Steve"
The "simple People"
It's quite appalling to hear the reasons of brexiteers for leaving the EU in the last few years! These are the same people who are trying to get more power to the likes of Nigel Farage! 🙄
Let's look on the bright side. Wherever a Brit is now permitted to work or go to school, he's now guaranteed to always get proper chips. That's what this is about anyway!
pressing thumbs up button, but I feel like I should go for thumbs dumb....What a foools!
He won a soother.
So funny, the 3-Pin-Plug-System is "less safe" than, and he never looked at it, the 2-Plug-System, because there are two more "Plugs" this person didnt see ;)
James is looking tired and stressed these days, he really needs to move on from Brexit, Trump and Farage ... although I am not too sure what else he can rant about. What on Earth will he do when Farage becomes PM ?
COME ON WE NEED TO GET OVER THIS ...
We mucked up and lost.
Man up and get on with things.
The sad thing is ,that there are people who believe these interviews are not specially chosen . What Brexit was about was the huge immigration into the most densely populated country in the EU .which was not dealt with .
Speak for yourself.
First of all the UK was NOT the most densely populated country in the EU.
And secondly it was up to the UK and NOT the EU to deal with immigration after Central and Eastern European countries joined !!
And Brexit was about tax evation by the ONE PERCENT who still lead the UK population by the nose ! Quod erat demonstrandum !!
The UK isn't even in the top 5 of most densely populated countries in Europe
And even if you just look at full EU members...
The Netherlands density 521
Belgium density 383
UK 272
Luxembourg 249
Brexit was about Immigration ? No mate, it was about xenophobia and outright racism.
@ Scotland and Wales and N.Ireland were very sparsely populated .ENGLAND was densely populated and has become worse .
Metal on a plug you think is better ??? Because is safer to have a conductive material
What is he babbling about the 3-pin plugs? I have 2 pins and the ground connector. I remember having those since 1980, a quarter of the century *before* my country joined the EU; strange, EU have not removed those.
Why are you voting brexit.....uurrrr because me dad said
You're mixing that statement up with "Why are you voting Labour?"
@phildavies6020 uuurr no it's more like baaa baaa sheep
Just like legions of Labour voters. Voting Labour 'cos me grandfather did'.
@rb1062 🐑 🐏 🐑 🐏 🐑 ain't got a mind of your own
@@haroonnawaz4702 Truth hurt, did it? 🤡
O’Brien must be having nightmares about Trump and Reform.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why?
So should you. Unless you're too thick
@@freemedia8692 Where?
Reminds me of the Jordan klepper interviews at trump rallies. Like somehow this mindset was bottled and sold internationally for psychic syndication.
Totally different talking points and individual grievances of course. But yet the constellation those points form sure looks very similar from here.
Maybe I'm just imagining it though
the dust of empire
Brexit has torn the people apart and divided our nation horrifically.i voted for Brexit and own it and admit that I was disgustingly lied to.But now if I’m asked about it I say I never voted at all for fear of being abused by aggressive left wingers and some right wingers also
I hope this doesn't sound trite, but thank you for admitting and coming to terms with your mistake. We need more people like you to do the same. Thank you for sharing your story on here, and I wish you the courage to stand up and share it with more people who don't want to hear hard truths but still need to.
@ I part own a business mate and believe it or not have been a fraction better off since brexit. But I would much much rather take it as it was before brexit for far less divide of our nation
