So long as you don't look at all the videos of the streets of Philadelphia or all the tent cities in America this video has done its job.
@@robertely686 Gimme a break dude. At least you can FILM those locations.
@@MrAnimason in a way it's worse. The North Koreans don't know what's going on - they have an excuse. The Americans (or the West) has access to this information but chooses to ignore it.
If someone in Venezuela eats from a dustbin the West cries for that person, if someone in Detroit eats from a dustbin the West criticises that person.
You (we) have been propagandised into hating our own people.
@@robertely686 No it's not even close. First of all, I disagree with the proposition that we choose to do nothing in the face of poverty, nor that we hate those that are in poverty (even though the socioeconomic circumstances are very different in Venezuela compared to a developed nation with economic mobility like most western nations) , but even if that were the case, the simple fact remains that people are unable to act without present information and a competent government to address the issues. North Korea will be poor FOREVER since the government is fully aware of the people's suffering and simply doesn't care, in contrast to the poverty that is present in some countries in the West that many people have been lampooning for solutions for DECADES.
It's a blatant insult to the people suffering that the government would cover up all of this information, whereas in the West, where the information is not covered up, it demonstrates a level of maturity that North Korea simply does not have.
I feel so bad for N Korea. I studied in China and life is so hard there. I can just imagine if NK has it X100 harder 😢
I recommend "Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea" by Barbara Demick. Eye-opening.
I recommend the interview
The book is phenomenal and emotionally brutal. You'll thank God on your knees you weren't born in North Korea after you read it, no matter how insane the West has become.
@@mirceazaharia2094 Or realize that if a god existed, he would be a cruel bastard for allowing so many people to suffer so much hardship. It's better for a god to not exist than for an all-powerful god to get his rocks off on human suffering.

There's video's of people who have escaped from this country. It's sounds horrific. On one video this young woman talks about because the country doesn't have fertilizer each family has to provide 10 lbs. of poop to the government.Their poop. She said it's very difficult mainly because there's not enough food to produce that much poop. She also talked about poop thieves because you can be punished if you don't give them the amount of poop the government tells you to give.
Their soldiers have to pay for their uniforms and food while in service too, which is mandatory 8-10 years service.
source: trust me bro
The people there don't even have to pay taxes, much less military uniforms lmao. The best part about spewing shit about socialism is when you end up hating capitalism instead.
I mean, that's every military though. unless you were still in training.

Just remember all these photos probably costed a life

It looks like a dystopian East Asian version of Scientology, without the obvious irony.
The irony is very obvious, how we’re turning into them
What I don’t agree with is how this bears any similarities to Scientology, save for the people starving and children not getting medical treatment
At least the women are slim.
How about the Orwellian dystopia we are living in?😢
I wish we could all just give them friendship and stop their alienation from the rest of humanity.
R.I.P. to the person who toke the picture of the back of the statue 💀
