@@ToxicViewer well Jailer, Beast and Don were exceptions because the movie was average and the music made the movies hit while Doctor and Vikram were good and best respectively in terms of story and his music elevated it more.
One thing to learn from all the South Indian artists is their humbleness. Be it huge superstar actors, great directors or music directors like Anirudh. They are always grounded and respectful. One virtue which everyone should learn.
i mean, there are shit people in the south industry as well..anirudh is reaching heights because he's humble, and he cares about the movie he works on..most of music directors won't do that

Had gone to Chennai in 2014 for my masters. Didn't know a word of Tamil.
My second week there, all my classmates on campus were playing songs from Kaththi. I lost my mind, no one else in mainstream Hindi or Punjabi music was making music like this. Been following his work for nine years now, he's gone from strength to strength. Him and Sid Sriram are probably the most talented musician and singer respectively in mainstream music in India .
His tribute to Rajanikanth in Jailer is a masterpiece of tribute songs. The definition of kick-ass.

I started knowing him from Vikram, only then came to realise he is the same guy who created Kolaveri D
but what boggles my mind is, Lokesh gave him full freedom for the film's music and Anirudh totally hit it out of the park. I mean no film's music can be compared with Vikram in terms of quality and quantity. Simply Genius
To me also, Vikram feels like his best work to date. The songs and background score does not conform to the traditional mass commercial film music and has a distinct identity to it. Wish we could get more like that.
Absolutely absolutely agree !!! Vikram was just so many notches higher than anything he had done before, and the movie was just inundated with genius-level BGMs.....in fact it started with the Vikram Title Reveal video that was released on Kamal's birthday.....in those couple of minutes itself, it was clear Anirudh had reached a different planet wrt his music.
Vikram is great! But, personally for me, Katthi (Not kaithi) was his best work... Literally, Every Bgm in that movie was lit🔥. He is yet to beat his own work, Atleast for me...

I hv seen this about Southern stars. They always address the interviewer as sir or mam. You won't find this in Bollywood. That shows absolute respect.
The reason bwood Elders don't wanna be addressed that way is bcz, they'll appear old if they're called Sir/Mam. So they ask ppl to address by their name. And this has become norm. Noticed this behavior with KJo who stopped a young actor from calling him Sir

I am an Ethiopian and I heard Kolaveri in college and it was massively shared among students, no one knew what it meant but we loved it.
"Jersey" unquestionably takes the top spot as my favorite OST album. It remains unrivaled, and to truly capture its essence, I highly recommend listening to "arambhame le."
Jersey, 3, Naanum Rowdy Thaan are his best till date.

Lately, he’s got me thinking, how is he able to manage time. He does things as if time runs slowly for him. If there are around three projects running parallel, I lose it at work, how is this guy able to deliver so much good music without any issues in meeting deadlines. This interview was just wholesome.
we never know the timeline of each of those projects. The movies release at the same time but it doesn't mean he worked too for those movies at a point of time all at once. The timeline differs for production and release

Ani is the nephew of the legend Thalaivar Superstar Rajinikanth ⭐⭐

Overall he is from a family of legacy who contributed more in Tamil arts

Great interview. This boy is such a class act. So much achieved in such a young age. Hope he has many more decades of musical prowess in him. So many of the commercial blockbusters would not be half the success they are today if not for his terrific musical contributions. On a side note, the poor boy looks sleepless working overtime for his entire lineup of commitments. Way too much pressure on him that could lead to burn outs. Hope he takes a break soon and stays fresh.

He’s my big crush ever since I saw his goofy side on the Chellamma song of Doctor!! Such a humble person for the body of work that he has done. And the best part- the natural respect in addressing her “ma’am” throughout the conversation .. I don’t know when was the last time I heard her being addressed “ma’am” by any of the celebrities that she has interviewed.
For me, watching jawan felt like watching 3 movies in one movie. But Anirudh is the only saviour, He rocked as he always does.
