When the church begins to acknowledge science i.e EVOLUTION (and other sciences) then you will see how the exodus will stop...
Since the first and second century, the cultural view of genesis 1 and 2 is one of material creation and de novo creation, and that goes totally against science.
But if you look at those passages with the ancient israelites eyes, then you will understand that genesis 1 and 2 is not talking about material creation or de novo creation... So topics like evolution are not refuted by the bible or by our lord Jesus.
The second step should be to incorporate a little philosophy in our exegetical labor. This will allow us to understand the Theological aspect of scripture.
We are facing some dark times for the church, this mass exodus is real. People just don't want to believe, and until we reform ourself without changing the word of God, the exodus won't stop.

The church needs to teach TRUTH in LOVE for all ages of all time. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. However our society is removing ALL boundaries and calling it love, ALL boundaries of gender and sexuality. When sin no longer exists there's no need for a Savior, the gospel becomes null and void. We all need Jesus, and loving Him means obeying Him and His Word by His grace and strength which He provides. When people say LOVE IS LOVE... take it to its logical conclusion... that means adultery, pedophilia and incest as well.. because LOVE IS LOVE. I'm a teacher in Calif and look at the links above at what the Calif Dpt of Education is now teaching our kids.... unlimited gender choices and unlimited sexual orientations (ever expanding / ever changing)
I agree with the young man that the LOVE OF MONEY is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL (it's biblical).. The prosperity doctrine has bred greed and that's not what Christianity is about.

The Trevor Project’s 2019 National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health found that respondents used more than 100 different terms to label their sexuality! Identities like omnisexual, abrosexual, and skoliosexual may also describe a form of attraction to more than one gender, though these identities are not necessarily synonymous or interchangeable with the word bisexual.
Multisexuality refers to all identities that include romantic and/or sexual attraction to people of more than one gender. This is in contrast to monosexuality, which is defined as identities involving attraction to people of a single gender, such as exclusively gay or straight identities. Multisexual identities include:
• Queer refers to an identity that expands outside of heterosexuality. Due to its history as a reclaimed slur and use in political movements, queer still holds political significance.
• Pansexual is an identity term for romantic and/or sexual attraction to people regardless of gender identity or to people of all genders. For some pansexual people, gender is not a defining characteristic of the attraction they feel to others. Other pansexual folks may feel that gender is a significant part of their experience of attraction.
• Omnisexual refers to someone who is attracted to people of all genders, and for whom gender plays an important part of attraction.
• Abrosexual describes one’s sexual attraction that is fluid and constantly changing.
• Skoliosexual is a term that refers to attraction to trans and nonbinary people.
• Fluid refers to someone who experiences changes in their sexual attraction over time and/or depending on the situation. Remember, while sexuality can be fluid, attempts to forcibly change a person’s sexuality, such as with the discredited practice of conversion therapy, are harmful and ineffective.
Some multisexual people use more than one of these labels. People may share different labels for their identities depending on the context or who they are speaking to. For example, a person may define themselves as bisexual to a relative who is unfamiliar with LGBTQ identities, but further specify their identity as fluid or pansexual when talking to friends within the queer and trans community. Other people may use one label exclusively no matter who they are speaking with. It’s OK to use one label or multiple labels for your identity.

My grandpa was a baptist minister (The church is connected to his house) but I decided in my 30s that Christianity isn’t for me. It’s hard to follow a religion that puts restrictions on our own human nature. I have no desire to get married or have kids, but I’m not gunna be a Virgin at 25, 30, or 40 years old.

Great group of young people, intelligent, thoughtful, active. And seeing world as it is with its flaws and challenges (insert long list here...). I would hazard a guess that they all have got themselves vaccinated. Maybe there is some hope for humanity.
All religions will need to do a lot of work on themselves to remain relevant.

I like this discussion alot.Youth are very promising people but if not helped they can wreck their lives too.For example when a young man says he or she quit church because of new found happiness which the Bible sort of doesnt justify is a serious allegations.The word of God needs to transform us.But if we conform to what our flesh asks for then you are the loose.

Instead of spending time in church, spend it learning hard sciences and philosophy (at college preferably) and understand the real purpose of the church. Spirituality is important but the church capitalizes on people spiritual needs and politicians manipulates views saying they are christians when they certainly don't act like so.

This generation of youth has alot of assumption mentality.Rhey assume there is alot of time to waste and recover much later. They don't believe they can be good believers in God and be obedient because of relationship temptation.But its not that many of them are leaving.Its just that they are alot more at school
