Chanel S I don't know what all the complaining is about either? I loved this one and "Spark the Fire." I actually bought her latest album, This What the Truth Feels Like at Target to get the extra songs. I was disappointed in the last 3 tracks and I thought why didn't she include "Baby Don't Lie" & "Spark the Fire" instead. Both are great songs but now I can only find them here on UA-cam to listen to. But I know a lot of people complained about them, so she ditched these songs and completely started a new album. Such a shame and waste of 2 good songs. But I really do love her new album for the most part. Also, try listening to her track with Justin Timberlake. It's cool too but it never received the reception it should have gotten either. It's on the animated "Trolls" soundtrack .😏🙄

I think this is my favorite song by Gwen not including no doubt. That's my favorite. But her pop stuff is good. I'm surprised she has lasted this long. She knows just how to change through the times. That's rare. I think she's missing some dirty south. I think she is getting that with her new hubby. We'll see what comes out of her from that.

this is a brilliant return for her! a lot of people are discovering her for the first time since it's been almost 7 years since she put out anything! this is VERY relevant and will do really well for her! I know she has better tricks up her sleeve (the Calvin Harris collab perhaps) but for what it is, it's GREAT!

Honestly, I was expecting more, but whether you like it or not, Gwen Stefani is a pop LEGEND, stop comparing her to amateurs.
In an industry saturated with people trying to out shout and out shock everyone, it's nice to have a chill dancehall track with some latin vibe in it. The charisma in her voice makes the song compelling and it's in totally in line with some over her other solo offerings. Now I want to go back and listen to Early Winter and Wonderful Life :)
Gwen is a pop artist. She does pop songs. She's been in the BIZ a long time and if she wants to stay relevant, she needs to change with the times... this song is a decent, it's fun- move on if you don't like it,,,and go troll elsewhere.

This is easily one of my all-time fave Gwen songs!! I'm obsessed with her very unique voice, it goes from girly to deep so seemslessly, and the beat is putting me in such a great mood! In my opinion it takes a very prmitive person to bring up her age, like age defines ANYTHING. This girl has more youthful looks and personality than people half her age. She's fit, she doesn't have a single wrinkle and she's constantly glowing - she's ageless! I'm 20, and I'd take her over any twentysomething female celeb any day. She radiates health and youth and she's a rare musical genius. It's a very stupid social stereotype that people over 35 should be conservative, boring fucks in grandma clothing... You are as young as you feel and act. I adore this new song and I'm thrilled that she's making a comeback!! :) 2014 is a big year of comebacks with Gwen, Fergie and Hilary Duff all making new music!! I'm very excited :)

I don't why people don't like this I think it's incredible and insanely catchy! I've repeated this for like the thousandth time today! I think it is unique. It's "Gwen" unique. I honestly think this is one of the better song releases of this year. I turned the radio on the other day just to see what was popular right now and it's all so generic and electronic-heavy. Most of the songs I hadn't even heard before but I could predict the melodies before it even got to them. This song was unpredictable for me. Which makes a great song. and I haven't heard any other reggae songs on the charts this year besides Magic!'s "Rude". So I think it is a very unique release in my opinion.

Neither the Roar was stolen neither Futuristic lover, and there were no other claims of ripping off related to Katy. While I never really particularly enjoyed Katy's music, I started listening to her more, because at least she does not rip off people. And I was devastatingly disappointed that Gwen did, because You know, even in her "glory days" Gwen used to be the one to get ripped off, and now it's the other way around. It's just plain sad

MyidolGwen No one questioned her genre. Fact of the matter is that this particular song could have been written by anyone.
It doesn't have that one of a kind flair that Gwen is known for. I for one hope the entire album isn't like this. Although She did mention that No Doubt is in the studio so perhaps that might be better

-Is it as good as the songs that came off her other two solo albums? No maybe not, those albums were pretty exceptional. But that does not mean this is bad, in fact I really like it, its got that whole "brand new" effect too.
-Whats better, this or nothing? Cause the world just had nothing from her for 8 years solo wise, and only one no doubt record in 13 years.
-One other note to remember is that in her solo albums, every song, and the way she sang in every song, was actually significantly different from each other. So maybe that's the case again this time.
