If the sinner steals money, and believes in Jesus, then he would make every effort to pay it back. Majority of Christians do not make restitution to their victims, they think taking Jesus as their savior is enough. They are wrong. They are not loving their neighbor. If they don’t do their best to follow his teachings, they are not true believers. They are just manipulating the religion.

Yes that's true but remember what Jesus said to the woman who was caught in the act of adultery after her accuses left her with Jesus. Jesus said to the woman go and sin no more the same thing can be said about thief's if a thief is caught breaking into a house and stealing he goes to prison he sentence to serve 2 years and in those two years he finds God there's no need for him to pay back what he stole because Jesus already paid his debt at the cross.

@@PokeMaster03 it does not work that way. If a thief scammed your mother for most of her retirement savings leaving her destitute, would you not want your mother to be paid back? I am Jewish and in our religion we are born saved as a a piece of the Creator is within all of humanity and a portion of us exist in another dimension. We are all spiritual energetic beings temporary having a corporeal experience. We think our humanity identifies us because most people fail to remember and feel who they are. Our soul is here to learn and evolve. Jesus was like us but evolved. He too said we can do everything he can and even more because creation evolves. While we are here, if we want to elevate our consciousness we must recognize what we do that is destructive and do our best to make ammends while we are alive or their next lifetime will have more karma, more difficult lessons.

if god knows everything, including the outcome of the choices we are yet to make, then free will is an illusion, any choice we make he already knew and there was nothing we could have done differently, then why punish people if we dont have a choice

    • @angelt.5276
      @angelt.5276 2 місяці тому

Hey, friend! So foreknowledge does not equal causation. Yes, God knows all things. He is not bound by time like we are. But this doesn't take away our free will, nor does it take away our responsibility to respond to His offer of salvation. Here's an example that may bring some clarity to this topic.
I used to be an after school care teacher. It was my job to supervise students at the playground. One kid decided that he wanted to climb a fence. Great idea, right!? I told him that he was going to get hurt, I could basically see it happen before my eyes, but he ignored my warning. The kid then tumbled over the fence and hit the ground hard, hurting himself. Did I push him? Did I cause him to fall? No, of course not. I practically knew it would happen because, well, kids! But I didn't cause him to get hurt.
If we bring this back to the Bible, there's a reason why Joshua could say what he said in Joshua 24:15:
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Wages of sin is death not eternal conscious torment in hell.

  • @nikokapanen82
    @nikokapanen82 4 роки тому +1

Hell is not really a penalty but an outcome, a consequence of sin.
The "wages of sin is death" in a deeper sense means the consequences of sin is separation from God and God is all what real life is about like joy, peace, harmony, beauty, hope, order and so on, so separation from God would mean losing all those things.
Now in reality, this whole issue is way more complicated than that, but this is the basics.

So why does He command you with your crummy love to love him?
      Ready genius?
We’re taking this up a notch now.
Because compared to God you are a turkey.
      No no no.
      Let me rephrase that.
Compared to God you are nothing.
The problem is that you think you are something.
And actually you are something compared to the animal kingdom but buddy compared to God you don’t even begin to compare.
      You’re nothing.
How do you feel about being nothing.
That’s such a tough question you won’t even let yourself think about it.
      Why?
Because you don’t want to be nothing.
But compared to God that’s exactly what you are.
The animals compared to God are less than nothing.
But they can’t think so it doesn’t worry them.
But you’re a homo sapien with a brain even if you seem brainless.
In other words the realisation of the greatness of your inferiority to God isn’t easy to take.
Hence the reason why a lot of brainless ones like to buy into the crazy idea of the non existence of God, because it reduces their inferiority.
They go from being nothing to something.
But God says hey stupid don’t be an idiot.
Join forces with me babe saith the Lord and it’ll slowly overcome the negative effects resulting from your inferiority.
We join forces with God by loving Him.
But regrettably for you, not for me, but for you it seems you’re just too proud to do this.
God made you kiddo for everlasting life.
But hey if you don’t want it, your soul has to be destroyed along with all this bull that you’ve subscribed to.
You go to hell to be destroyed.
Initially you might be cursing God.
But as soon as you come to your senses and acknowledge that you blew God off and that you’re unfit for heaven, and therefore worthy of destruction, then God will destroy you as though you never existed. This will be preceded by weeping and gnashing of your teeth because of the anguish of knowing that me and millions like me have gotten salvation and eternal life and all that goes with it, and in your case you get destroyed as though you never lived.

      No no no numb bum.
      Hey what’s with you guys.
      Love me or burn forever.
Let’s get a couple of things straight.
      Is your brain switched on?
I don’t want to be talking to a
      yo-yo.
The deal with loving God is this.
      Are you ready genius?
Firstly God doesn’t need any love.
Maybe you and your pet doggy need to be loved. But not God.
He doesn’t want your love or need it.

Show that naturalism is or even could be true in any real way. THEN you can start talking about what that means... The God of the Bible doesn't "need" anything... And your original comment above is 100% wrong. You are attacking a strawman - and assuming that there is an objective standard of morality - which cannot exist if God does not exist... You're being neither rational nor consistent. _So, does the truth about this matter to you? If what you currently believe is false, do you want to know?_

You misunderstand what that text is saying very simply it is not like the Catholics teach we're genetically the moment Eve send your all given sin that's not what that means that's wrong you're not imprinted directly with the sin but because of sin our minds our bodies are broken down and our Free Will is still ours but we are weaker to follow that Free Will with real Choice instead it were more prone to be acting following other things that other people have called Chelsea or that we want out of lust Etc so you see that's not really Free Will as being a slave to the SIM. As well as when someone accepts Christ out of free will there being a slave to love but see those words are not what they really mean the words it's not like from the 18 hundreds with blacks who work Muse the slaves or the Egyptians who used slaves slave in this situation means it's an emotional mental state that we actually choose for ourselves because we're too weak to work Christ I see if we choose to give our Free Will away and let Christ work in our hearts it will seem like we're not free but we really are because then we won't do things that we know what that hurt us or hurt others will want to loving me give it up because that's what we should do it was much deeper than that but you understand that if you do that you'll inherit the righteousness of Christ just as when Steve send me an inherited her unrighteousness and works both

Hell is one of those interesting subjects that depending upon our view will tell us a story about ourselves.
Yet the bible quite clearly says in one breath that those who go there stay there forever. And their worm perisheth not.
But in another breath it also says that they perish there. Also it says to fear God who can destroy the body and soul in hell.
It says the wages of sin is death.
Obviously this isn’t the death that happens to all of us.
Is it not reasonable to assume that this death is one and same as the word perish which is what happens to those in hell.
If you are hell bent on the idea that those who go to hell will be there forever, in everlasting torment, then realise that you’re probably buying into this idea because either you haven’t thought through all the relative scriptures or you’re getting a notion of satisfying payback because of all those who disagreed with you and didn’t be a believer like you.
Try and be honest with yourself.
The scriptures are clearly contradictory on the subject of hell. Yes it exist. Yes unbelievers go there. But let’s reason together.
Firstly the scriptures do say they perish there and that God destroys the soul there.
We can’t get away from this. Therefore how can they be there forever.
And in light of this how can we believe that God would have souls tortured in hell, writhing there in agony, for all of eternity? This is not in keeping with God’s nature.
    There’s no plan B.
    It’s either heaven or hell.
They go to hell to be destroyed.
We don’t know how much torture they’ll receive.
Presumably those that are noble but they elected to not love and obey God, will be destroyed faster than those who greatly sinned.
It’s seems reasonable to assume that God won’t destroy souls in hell until they they have admitted they were wrong to oppose God and are unsuitable for Everlasting Life, And therefore worthy of destruction.
When the soul agrees with this then God will destroy them as those they had never lived.
Maybe the weeping and gnashing of teeth is an expression of tremendous regret for rejecting God and His amazing offer of salvation.

@@paulwilfridhunt Interesting to see you and David have different opinons of Hell Paul, this is one of my bugbears with the Bible, shouldn't the exact terms of Hell be clearly defined, esp if it truly is eternal damnation that a sentient being is going to suffer? If i genuinely thought that when i died that I am going to be subjected to eternal pain of some kind, i would do everything within my power to prevent that from happening.. which begs the question, would I be accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior because I truly believed in him, or would i be doing it to prevent myself from Hell? .. the truth is, you cannot force someone to believe something. bonnie43uk Are you going to Hell Tom
It seems that you certainly shall
      Who shall we blame Tom
We will not blame anybody Tom
For its you who will eventually blame yourself.
But probably not before having a spell in hell.
And then Tom you’ll come to your senses after you’ve ceased cursing God which undoubtedly you’ll do in hell
But eventually you’ll face what you won’t let yourself face now.
God will not destroy you in hell until you face the truth that you won’t allow yourself to face now.
You will eventually acknowledge that God is just and that you are deserving of destruction for making yourself unfit for eternal life by opposing your creator.
And then your end will come Tom.
And God will destroy you as though you never existed.
But the greatness of the regret you will face will be so great it will manifest as weeping and gnashing of your teeth. Such will be your sadness.
However it seems that until this time arrives you will be like the drunken one that’s drunk, from drinking from the bottle called opposition to God.
You have been impervious to warnings Tom.
Now all that’s left is to tell you of your unbearable end that’s ahead of all those who won’t pay the price of complete and absolute grateful surrender to God by becoming His obedient and trusted servants that faithfully serve Him all of their days.
If there are no atheists in fox holes there are certainly none in hell.
But conversely those who choose to believe and obey God, shall receive their inheritance, which is a new life, everlasting life, of indescribable beauty and joy, that is beyond human comprehension or understanding, so much so, it denies us the capacity to even begin to conceive of it today.
Today Tom you think you cannot believe in God as we believers do, but you will know that if hell is to be your destination, and it certainly seems like it, that with a great realisation you’ll certainly realise that you could have believed as we have done during your earthly sojourn.
