I think we need to really consider whether or not the anime is canon. If it is, then clearly there is a multiverse since the events are different from the manga... The time concept is cool, but usually time needs to be delicately handled for a story to make sense, ESPECIALLY with time travel (anime)

i mean it could be but i doubt it kawaki is already an otutsuki or was a vessel in the past adding another otutsuki body parts or cell might cause problems in kawaki's karma or otutsuki body plus he wasn't created from scratch like the rest of them cyborgs so i'll say he wasn't implanted with shibai's cells
