Mongward I just love the EMH version of Thor in general. They didn't hold back on his power; when he was onscreen, you knew that shit was about to go down. I mean, the dude defeated an entire army of alien warrior scientists complete with giant robots without breaking a sweat, deflected a laser beam big enough to destroy all of Manhattan, and was the only Avenger who could physically knock Galactus on his giant purple ass. However, he was more than just a "big gun" for the Avengers; he was a noble warrior filled with wisdom that could fit only someone who had lived for countless millennia. I liked that he could offer council for his teammates when needed. He may not have been a tech-savvy genius like Iron Man, but he could one-up him in terms of common sense (that episode where Iron Man was about to sink his giant arc reactor and Radioactive Man with it into the center of the Earth and poison it if Thor didn't stop him was a key indication of that). Few portrayals of Thor show that he has wisdom that comes with being alive for tens of thousands of years; most often he's portrayed as a buffoon. Avengers Assemble's Thor makes me want to break something every time he talks.
Wasserman the wise and heroic Thor, willingham the couragoes and warrior Thor and Hemsworth is the young and inexperienced Thor but all embody Thor in all stages of his life
Rick D Wasserman was my first and favorite animated Thor. The new Avengers Assemble's Travis Willingham grew on me but Chris Hemsworth is pretty much Thor period.
John Rhys Davies will always be the true voice of the god of thunder to me. He sounded exactly how I read in the comics and he just felt godly every time he spoke. Rick D. Wasserman would my seconded favorite voice as Thor because while he is not as epic sounding as John he is still very deep sounding and comes closer than anyone to capturing the feel of Thor in the comics.
Patrick Seitz nailed it as Thor! The guy is always a pro when it comes to voicing big, sturdy-looking men! Examples: -Laxus (Fairy Tail) -Agil (Sword Art Online) -Tank Top Master (One Punch Man)
Rick D certainly has the very Nordic voice for Thor, having the joyous voice to cry out his friends name onto Valhalla and has the threatening boom to him when he unleashes his powers.
So Travis Willinghams track record is Roy Mustang Portgas D Ace Guile and Thor.I know Travis has done more but still that's an impressive voice Track Record
I did not know that it was Vic Perrin that voiced Thor in the episode of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends in which he appeared, "The Vengeance of Loki". I knew Perrin had voiced other characters in the series later on. I guess Perrin, like numerous other voice-over actors from that series (such as Michael Rye, who voiced Magneto in "The Prison Plot"), was not mentioned in the end credits.
Wasserman, Cummings, Willingham, and hemsworth are the are the best cause they sound the most godly. The rest just sound like characters from a Shakespeare play.
A son of Odin should have three things in his voice: Strength, Nobility and Authority. I feel Wasserman displayed these three traits the best in his Avengers EMH role. Yet, I have to say I was surprised about Adamthwaite in Next Avengers. I forgot that movie, but he did a fantastic job, especially because by this time, Thpr was the ruler of Asgard. Well done.
Gotta give it to Rick D. Wasserman. He has a good way of sound natural when he speaks, when Thor is just talking, it doesn't sound like he's playing up the accent. But when Thor's in action, it keeps its natural feel, and it's intimidating. It's the kind of voice where I love to hear him give long winded speeches of valor and what not. My problem with Travis's Thor is that it sort of feels like it's an impression. It's not bad acting, perhaps it's the directing. It's most likely directing, because most of the new Marvel shows have that problem, where it feels like the actors are "acting"
In Marvel Universe Earth-8096, Matthew Wolf voiced Thor Odinson in Hulk vs. Thor and Thor: Tales of Asgard, while Rick D. Wasserman replaced him in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Makes you realize how good is Hemsworth for the role, he takes this hands down. Travis Willingham, Dave Boat and Rick Wasserman get a honorable mention.
1 Chris Hemsworth 2 Rick D. Wasserman 3 Travis Willingham 4 Matthew Wolf 5 David Boat and John Rhys Davies 6 Cam Clarke 7 Vic Perrin 8 Michael Adamthwaite 9 Chris Wiggins 10 Jim Cummings 11 Daniel Thorn
If the did an animated movie of Thor the god butcher storyline this is who I choose for all 3 Thor's, Hemsworth for young prince Thor, willingham for modern day Thor and lastly Wasserman for old king thor. The best versions of Thor in a single movie now that is worth watching
The Redo Picks For Thor Rick D. Wasserman (I love his voice for Thor and his portrayal of character) 10/10 Chris Hensworth (Great performance and voice for the character even for voice acting standers) 9/10 Travis Willingham (I know most people think his voice is not good but I still enjoy his performance even it's been maybe over used with his other characters he has played but not bad) 8/10 David Boat (Ultimate Avengers) (Has as cool voice and I like when he says "The rocks giants crumble behind the mighty you know what." He works for this version of character and I think it's better than his SHS performance) 7/10 Cam Clarke (I know Cam uses his He-Man voice but it works for Thor and I like his origin of his hammer when it was made and I would like to see him do it again) 6/10 John Rhys-Davies (I like his voice and I can see why he would be better as Odin but it works and I love the lines he gives thanks to the direction or script he is given so I like it) 7/10 Matthew Wolf (He's Okay not much else to say) 6/10 David Boat (SHS) (It's Okay also but I again that's my opinion) 6/10 Micheal Adamthwaite (I like his voice but he's only there for a little bit but bad at all and I love how kind and nice he delivers the lines I like to see him again) 8/10 Vic Perrin (Works for this version and I like voice even though the voice is to light but I don't want to be rude so I think it's decent) 6/10 Daniel Thorn (It's okay but the voice is kinda of meh) 5/10 Chris Wiggins (He fine for his version and I like the echo in his voice) 6/10 Jim Cummings (It's just Jim doing his voice but it's okay also) 5/10 So Here They Are 1 Rick D. Wasserman 2 Chris Hensworth 3 Travis Willingham 4 David Boat (UA)/Micheal Adamthwaite 5 John Rhys-Davies 6 Cam Clarke/Matthew Wolf 7 David Boat (SHS)/Vic Perrin 8 Chris Wiggins/Jim Cummings 9 Daniel Thorn

Man avengers earth mightiest heroes actually had a lot of good voice actors for the main heroes.
Yeah. Best Cap, Thor, Hulk and Black Panther voices imo
So did Avengers assemble but the show was mediocre
@@ebonkinght I like Eric Loomis for Iron Man best and Roger Craig Smith for Captain America best but we've never seen them together
Yeah for Eric Loomis as Iron-Man, Brian Bloom as Captain America, and Rick D Wasserman as Thor
Eric Loomis Deserves More Love And Recoginition as IronMan
Rick Wasserman is top-notch. Definitely my favourite Thor voice.
Mongward He carries the regal air of a prince and the intensity of a warrior which define Thor's character.
Right? After hearing him in EMH I really can't bear listening to MCU Thor.

Preach, brother, I hope more people agree with you, I couldn't have put this better myself :)
+MrPjw5
Absolutely.
Thor should be voiced by travis willingham forever. He has the perfect sound for it
I dunno why, buy John Rhys Davies sounds like Thor to me. Rick Wasserman, is also good and so is Chris Hemsworth
1. Rick D. Wasserman
2. Travis Willingham
3. Chris Hemsworth
Billy The Batfan I also think that
Wasserman the wise and heroic Thor, willingham the couragoes and warrior Thor and Hemsworth is the young and inexperienced Thor but all embody Thor in all stages of his life
Hemsworth should be at the top of your list
1 Chris Hemsworth
2 Travis Willingham
3 Rick D. Wasserman
Rick D Wasserman was my first and favorite animated Thor. The new Avengers Assemble's Travis Willingham grew on me but Chris Hemsworth is pretty much Thor period.
Rick D Wasserman, The Perfect Voice Actor of Thor
Chris Hemsworth, The Perfect Actor for MCU’s Thor
Should've used Cam Clarke's best line from Ultimate Alliance lol. "Soulless machine! How dare you strike the Son of Odin!"
Rick D. Wasserman for the win!
Odin's beard! Gimli was THOR?!
I prefer Chris Hemsworth, Travis Willingham & Rick D. Wasserman.
Chris Hemsworth is awesome!
and Travis Willingham
Yeah, I like Chris hemsworth and Travis willingham too.
My grandmother loves all things Australian, so our choice of Thor's voice is Chris Hemsworth.
@@kayleeescobar6828 me too. Chris Hemsworth fits the role of Thor to a tee.
Nothing compares to travis willingham. Pure perfection

Voice actor: Rick Wasserman
Actor: Chris Hemsworth
Rick D. Wasserman hands down!
Chris Hemsworth and Travis Willingham
Imagine A Marvel’s Thor Animated Series with Rick Wasserman as Thor while Matthew Wolf Voices a Younger Thor
Rick D certainly has the very Nordic voice for Thor, having the joyous voice to cry out his friends name onto Valhalla and has the threatening boom to him when he unleashes his powers.
John Rhys-Davis owned the role, as miniscule as it was. Hemsworth and everyone at the MCU should've taken notes.
So Travis Willinghams track record is
Roy Mustang
Portgas D Ace
Guile and Thor.I know Travis has done more but still that's an impressive voice Track Record
Travis Willingham as Thor doesn't need thunder and lightning. He just uses Colonel Guile's sonic boom and Colonel Mustang's flames
Chris Hemsowrth hands down
Rick D. Wasserman
Rick Wasserman is pretty much the voice of thor to me
Rick D. Wasserman and Travis Willingham are tied for first.
I think I like Rick D Wasserman more he’s got the perfect balance of peace but when shit goes down he brings out the gusto.
Travis Willingham & David Boat
Chris Hemsworth, Rick D. Wasserman, and Travis Willingham.
