Great show as always, guys! Not just journalists will benefit if verifiable trustworthy AI tools can go watch a lot of livestream meetings, transcribe summarize and alert to topics of interest. The PUBLIC, too. "Trustworthy" is key - you go back, random or bit by bit, and did it accurately transcribe - a challenge - and summarize - another huge challenge. It can learn from what we write about and ... there's just this post-pandemic legacy of all public meetings are online, pretty much - but how to cover them all? The potential is incredible, if we... don't turn the tools into weapons, as often happens. Then expand further - what biz won't pay to get an alert as soon as a legal action, motion in a pending suit, new legislation at state or local level is filed of crucial interest to themselves/their business? I see such amazing potential for these tools to keep us more informed, better and more quickly than any other existing service. It goes way beyond writing things up or cutting people already doing work. It EMPOWERS. If we do it right.

Totally agree. They are tools at the end of the day and all tools require knowledge and understanding in or to use them effectively without harm. So why not harness what they are capable of.
