We guessed the name of Apple's next mac operating system and went on a camping trip to capture our own wallpaper for macOS Redwood. We road tripped up the redwoods and spent a few nights camping in the forrest.

Have you guys ever thought of re-creating some of Apple's other Wallpapers such as some of the flowers and other bonus location photos such as on Catalina Island and at Big Sur that Apple includes in their OS's? Might be a good followup... "We recreated ALL of the Wallpapers in Mac OS Big Sur"... :)

how i wish i have friends who are as spontaneous as you are. When you said you'll go back to redwood for the perfect lighting, that's commitment right there. My friends won't even go camping with me just in our backyard.
I cannot believe this video hasnt been blown up. I cant belive how good all the photos are but something about number 2 just draws me. Id love to see more wallpaper stuff upcoming and i doubt im alone. Awesome video
I would definitely watch more videos like this for sure! I liked all the photos but if I had to pick one I would go with the first one. I myself currently am in a film and new media class at my school. Right now we are learning about composition and when I heard you guys talking about it I got even more excited because I knew about it. I am so glad that I found you like a year ago and have been watching you since. You are definitely one of my inspirations for getting into filming and photography!

My parents used to own a house there, 5min walk from the border sign. My friends and I drove there from New York during our senior year spring break. One of the best road trips I had, and I still miss that place. ( the house was flooded by a broken water tank later :/)

I can just see Andrew and crew camped out in the Redwoods on a hunch next spring during WWDC to shoot and upload a video the same day recreating the new wallpapers just to one-up Apple even more!!!

It's a lot of apple stuff, but it's the best part of apple stuff. I'm not a huge fan of apple's hardware, and even less a fan of them as a company, but they do wallpapers like no one else. I'd watch more videos like this.

I’ve never seen a video with over 500 likes and not a SINGLE DISLIKE! Well deserved!
Idea: Drive with your equipment on a randomly chosen road and have a timer that goes randomly between 15 minutes and 1½ hours. If the timer stops, you go out of the car and take the best possible shot there. Rinse and repeat until you have enough shots.
