Great video as always and great to see how some factions that are seen as 'less powerful' start to get some wins in. As you correctly indicated in several video's, it's still very early meta and things definitely will develop more overt time.
One note though: Wailing dirge can actually be done on a unit that is in combat, or when the source (banshee/ME/Terrorgheist) is itself involved in combat. Therefore it is quite to stop/counter, yet certainly not impossible.
Yep, dirge is a problem as it does too many things and synergises too strongly with the necromancy lore

Would be great to see your journey picking up skaven. They have some key weakness, however I think careful use of skirmishers and cheap blocks to delay and distract opposing units while their stormvermin, character led clanrats, rat ogres and abominations to do their work. How do you think you will buck the meta with skaven ?
Yeah, good question. I'm not sure it's possible, need to find the right list first!
Our team captain is a skaven main. He's the guy skewing your results as he's won 2× tourneys here in Canada with them. If you're interested I can hook you guys up if you wanna discuss.
Also: with regards to countering VC, ironically Empire can do it. You take a wizard with necromancy and debuff the general's leadership so he cant invocate, take a lector on a pope mobile to give a -2 to cast 18" bubble, 2x cannons and a steam tank to shoot his general who can no longer heal himself cause his LD is like 4 if you debuff him with necromancy, and then lastly veteran on your troops allows you to reroll the scream 😉.

Champions can have different equipment with out needing the motley crew rule also they can take magic weapons too.
Can a Doombull join the Ungors with the Wargor as monstrous infantry have clumsy?
I think the reason why the level 1 Acolyte with ruby ring is using dark magic is because of the signature spell is a magic missile.
The unit of 5 Irondrakes are a detachment for the Ironbreakers so they can't take any command models. Also Trollhammer upgrade alone, cost the same as another Irondrake.
On champions, I'm wrong, Thanks for the correction. Clumsy is the other way round, smaller characters can't join monstrous inf.
I guess Ruby ring makes a level 1 possibly a cheap little sniper.

And you are close enough on Storgatan (Stor = Large and gatan = Street, so a good translation would be Mainstreet.

Hi Dan! Only just found this so wanted to let you know why the Big Bosses are there. I played 6-7 games in a row where my Troll Hag's were getting into combat, getting challanged out and slowed down as they suddenly killed 1 model not the 9-10+ they normally can. It was even worse against TKs where the bloody champions keep coming back.
Solution was to put in a few extra models which can now accept challenge on their behalf after charging miles (they average somewhere around a 16-17" threat) in 360deg arc.
At worst they're a 50pt redirector.
Event itself was totally no-comp. But fwiw Robs Square Based Comp (when in use) allows you to 0-3 in core and 0-3 in special.

Ah interesting, that's a pretty decent strategy actually, I'd not considered that. Thanks for sharing. Rob's square based comp was 0-6 in core last time I went to an event, has this changed?
@@MalignMusings Yeah, a little. It's not been massively advertised in terms of changes but it's more around the things which allow 0-X of something in Core but is actually special etc. Think it's on their site but not 100% where I saw it now.
