I returned a rental car for Enterprise a few years ago with half a tank. Because they didn't give me the navigation option I paid for. Once at a gas station, I asked the attendant to put $20 on a pump. She told me, "You have to fill that up yourself". I said, "I know dummy there are two states in the U.S. that are still self serve and this isn't one of them". People that get hired at rent a car places and gas stations are numb nuts.
What’s fun is going through the metal detector with an implant. I had a total knee replacement a few years ago and ever since TSA has been a huge hassle.
The gas pumps spill out and they have the option of pressing the emergency button and all pumps are shut off and tell the customer that they can’t sell gasoline

I worked in customer service for 33 years and always did my BEST to service the customers politely and quickly. Still...45% of ppl are in a hurry and annoyed that you don't stop the world for them. I didn't have help like this lady did but sometimes I was in situations where I couldn't wait on 5 ppl at once. I learned alot about the human race in my job. I DON'T think you are a jerk Lamont. No way. I might suggest that if you are in a hurry...get places early. It's not always the attendants fault. Situations do arise. I feel 100% confident I treated all my guests (customers) with the best service and respect. It's just how I roll.

I remember When My Husband and I were flying South West, my toddler had finished her bottle, and then because of the pressure in the plane I needed some water so she could suck on it to help deal with the pressure. I held up my hand and asked her for water, she saw the bottle and in a rough rude manner, shouted Mam, I DO NOT HAVE Time to fill up your Baby's bottle for you !!! All of the other passengers surrounding us, started making comments about the flight attendant's crappy attitude, whispering a bit louder, all the lady wanted was a bottle of water for her baby ! 🥴😬🤷🏼♀️🙄 how rude was she..........., I don't remember what happened after that but we were both embarrassed, and felt like we'd been slapped and being admonished like bad children. Thank God we never experienced anything else as humiliating as that. I always fly SOUTH WEST, the treatment I and my Daughters receive has been polite, and respectful .

I used to travel EXTENSIVELY pre and post 9/11 and had a similar situation flying out of Miami. Was with a coworker and we needed to gas up the rental car. Against my advice, because I knew better, he stops at a gas station in Miami really close to the airport. Bulletproof glass all around the booth. Immediately we got swarmed by homeless 'windshield' cleaners. Super sketchy area. Just said to hurry up. I had to fend off the beggars while he filled the car. I was pissed. Then we got to the rental car return and they all pretended not to speak English. It was supposed to be 'express return' and no one would come over and take the keys. It was a close one. I haven't flown since 2011 or 2012 and am SO glad. I thought it was bad before. Those planes are nothing but cattle cars and smell like it too.
My last experience in January going through security was them insisting I had metal in my leg. Nope, no metal, no surgeries 💁🏻♀️. I’ve been pulled aside and had both my hands scanned. I’ve had my bag searched. Meanwhile the rest of my family floats through without an issue. Never anything out of the ordinary is ever found. I dread going through those scanners.
